OK, first the good news for me. When I first started reading about how to set up my system for wireless VR, I secured a high end tri-band router. I reserved one 5Ghz band just for VR. Over a period of time I tried dozens of different settings, watching millions of YouTube videos and reading dozens of forum threads. I seem to have lost all AI traffic. While I can see planes parked at airports, there are no planes in the sky either AI offline or real-time. I can hear ATC talking to them but no lights in the sky where there used to be many anywhere I flew. I don't know if this was caused by SU5 because I installed IVAO Altitude and the "Easy airlines+aircraft matching with default live traffic" mod from Flightsim.to by the same time and something might have gone wrong. Any tips on how to get my AI traffic back?

Hello, hoping to get some information on what nVidia driver version people are successfully using in MSFS. I recently started getting CTDs almost every flight, different aircraft, locations etc. I think they may have started when I recently updated my nVidia drivers last week as I was told I needed to when i was getting my new Reverb G2 VR headset going. Oddly the CTDs tend to happen only is 2D mode, I don’t recall having one yet with the VR headset on. It might be something else but I’d like to try and revert my drivers…the trouble is I don’t know what version I was using. Best guess is I last updated sometime in the fall. Landing in storm Eunice sounded like a challenge. That's exactly what it turned out to be, as I flew in real weather, landing at St Mary's airport in the Scilliy Isles at 10.30 this morning. Winds were in excess of 60mph!

Which plane is better in term of visuals and handles more realistically?

I am finding that MSFS appears to get stuck, either loading the game or when loading the flight - the blue loading bar gets to about 50% of the way across and then it seems to hang It occurs more often after I have changed scenery via addon linker, but if I then reload the game, with the same scenery selected it then works the second time, so it is not due to a bad scenery that will not load at all. Does anyone else experience this too?

Hi everyone, First time posting here in years. Used to be an avid simmer during FSX days but then started my RW training and now fly corporate. I thought I'd delve back into the sim world and buy a new desktop which arrived two days ago. I immediately went and bought the deluxe MSFS Steam version and have been painstakingly going through the install process ever since. I am 35 GB into the install process but quite often, the MSFS installer will crash and then I'll have to open it up again to which it tells me that it crashed unexpectedly and this could be due to "3rd party developer addons", even though it is a new install.... and I should try installing in "Safe Mo…

Played the game yesterday for the first time in about 3 weeks, so not sure if a small update happened or something over that time. I noticed that sometimes during a flight, that small lakes will have small triangles in them that kind of "remove" the reflections in the water. I'll take a screenshot next time I see it. It was also at night in game as well. Everything else looks great and the game runs great as well. Its not all the time just sometimes. Water most of the time looks normal. Anyone else see this?

Hi Every flight a made with MSFS a have a drop of fps at 32 500 FT. The drop stay during all the cruise altitude at exemple FL370. When a descent the FPS comeback to normal at 32 500FT? All my flight are with the FBW A320 experimental version. Anyone have this problem Thank you Philippe Tremblay

Hey all- I am getting my simulator system back up and running after a couple of years watching MSFS simmer. I have a couple of questions that I can't seem to find definitive answers to: How do I know if the SU8 has been installed? I go to the content manager and see 386 items installed and only world updates 'available'. Is there a specific location to see what SU is currently installed? Approaches : I have been fiddling with the GTN750 *both default gps and PMS50 gtn) and have an issue. When I activate an approach with a certain transition, it looks correct on the screen map and preview display but when the approach is loaded, it skips the IAF…

I have to bring this back because I'm wondering if any of you are able to get the scenery (trees, etc) to load further out. Regardless of what # on the LOD slider I try, the trees don't extend far out toward the horizon. Performance drops, but the ring that many have complained about is still there on my monitor. Nothing but blurry scenery after a certain point.

Obviously MS and Asobo want to stress aerodynamics is important subject as I remember another episode with the same title was already published. What's so new that it requires a sequel? Prop simulation and adverse yaw? Them want to say FS2020 is a serious sim?

I downloaded the new installer and it pretty cool. I'm glad Umberto decided to create & release it for all the airports. Is it still safe to delete the hyperlinks and create them with linker? I'd also like to know where can I get the upgrade price for Charlotte? 😀

My C:\ is growing even though I have FS on another volume. I'm wondering with a SSD dive is it worth it to compress the drive and will that adversely affect FS in any way? There will be more writes to the drive than normal and usually compression can shorten the life of a drive. Just the same I'm wondering is anyone doing this and what are they noticing?

Recently updated my gaming laptop to Windows 10 version 21H2 from version 21H1 and applied several windows updates that were available. While trying to take a long distance image of Sydney, Australia in a World Update that has had a lot of praise heaped on it for its scenery, I ended up with this juxtaposition. Asobo has undoubtably delivered what some have said is the best scenery of any the recent popular flight simulators. But it's not all about the scenery.
