Usin A320 FBW last update, after take off , in the ECAS panel says NAV TCAS STBY , anyone can tell me how to solve that ? thanks

hi all, So, I just updated the twin otter, but now the gps doesn't turn on except when I move my camera with right mouse button. The older versions worked?! I disabled all the addons I had except the twin otter. Any tips what to look for? I googled but didn't find anything, cheers Victor

Its been a few days since I have played but this morning Im getting like 1/5 questions during startup. What happened? Graphic question Cloud question satellite question and now my setup are gone like I started new. Help!

Hi Guys, Any idea why I am getting this chequered livery? It's not the first time I've seen it but it is an immersion killer that I am finally fed up with. I have just now updated my Nvidea driver to 511.75 but the issue existed from several driver updates back. It hasn't fixed it with the new driver. Is it just a missing paint mask or something? The livery was downloaded from Flightsim.to. Cheers Terry

Orbx has given some indications on what they work for 2022. The post is a bit of mess mixing all the sims together (as we say in French, a cat wouldn't find her kittens) but I was happy to read that they have the project of a mesh for South America, hopefully as good as the Himalayas one .They also will release a Panama canal Landmarks product. When I got MSFS at launch I tried it on my gaming laptop, it ran poorly, and the laptop’s fans were at constant high RPM. Experimenting, I installed it today on that same laptop and it runs great. Not as well as on my desktop, but it’s playable in a portable package. So, for all the hand wringing on the state of the sim, this is clear evidence of how much it has improved - on the optimization side at least - and in all else I would say. laptop specs: i7 2.8 GHz, 8 GB RAM, Nvidia GeForce GTX 1050 Ti

At my age I am not a very fast learner and have taken a year to get from complete novice to being able to get the CJ4 from Heathrow to New York reasonably easily, so I am looking for advice on the next step up from the CJ4 into a larger aircraft. I have "played around" with a few of the larger beasts and there seems to me to be quite a jump up in the learning curve now when I would prefer to take it in simple steps up. Can those with more knowledge than I suggest the easiest challenge up from a CJ4 please?

been trying for days to figure this out. at an airport like KLAS or EKCH for example I can get real high fps on Ultra . But when I start panning with my mouse I have at some point in the cockpit a major stutter making it unplayable. If I lower done the panning speed it gets a litlle better. I have tried a ramdisk, but this did not help. Vsync in game has never worked for me and for AMD there are not many guides around. Maybe someone else has the same?

I want to take off and land in some of the large lakes around the country. When I set up a flight in the world menu and hit FLY, it starts me out at 9600 feet altitude. Is there a way to start off on the water? Also, is there a way to find seaplane bases on the world menu, so I can take off there? Thanks, Roy

Are there any suggestions or tools for remote access to run MSFS outside of your normal home cockpit environment? Like maybe using your cell phone connected via remote desktop from say inside a restaurant with the phone under a well-placed napkin? How do you fellers get your flight time in during Valentine's Day?

Another victim of Asobo with the most recent (Australia) update is the recent model for the Airbus A330-900 NEO. I waited for this model for many years . I was was so thrilled when it became available. I was able to make a couple of videos using Delta and AirCalin textures. I wanted to make a new video using TAP of Portugal but it never loaded and this only happened after the recent update. I hope no other simmer is having the same problem. Similar experience happened when I had the Boeing 747-400 model working. It was one of the most beautiful models available to us MSFS2020 users. After an update it no longer loaded. I've upgraded my old X52 Pro to a new(er) X56 and am dismayed to find the pinkie switch doesn't function as a modifier (as it did in the X52). Worse still - the throttle slider (SLD) is simply a two-way switch. I think Saitek/Logitech must have lost the plot a fair while back. Anyway - for MSFS at least, I found that I could mimic a modifier (up to a point) by programming the pinkie to produce SHIFT, ALT, CTL (or a combination) - then adding those extended codes to MSFS (keyboard section). The kludge only works for switches, buttons and hats (that are programmed as buttons) but not for dedicated POV functions/buttons (as seen in MSFS throttle/stick sections). Basical…

Just off a lovely flight from Darwin to Dum In Mirrie Is withh the MV Porter. The MSFS imagery is much better than before the last WU. The weather was very convincing and I think true, summer tropical, hot, humid, overcast, light rain. So far so good. I was a bit surprised not to meet any turbulence though.

i just tried the fantastic workingtitle cj4 mode for the first time (wow i'm late 🙊). i have a little question about APPR mode, there's probably something i do wrong, with all specialists in this forum i try to ask here before loosing too much time trying to solve/understand it by myself (very sorry if it's obvious, i did some search but couldn't really find a definitive answer). I was wondering if it would be possible to fly on VATSIM with ATC using the new PDC/CPDLC feature on the FBAA320 without speaking? I find it easier to see everything displayed on the screen instead of speaking it to me. This would make flying online VATSIM a whole lot easier for me.

I would be grateful if someone could explain why custom bush trips in my community folder do not show up any longer in the activities-custom content page of my MSFS. It just says: "you do not have any local content installed" Have these bush trips been moved somewhere else with the last update? Thanks.

Two pc’s with MSFS in WidevieW. Just finished my flight from Amsterdam to Skiathos. In the beginning the client continuesly lost its clouds and later in the same flight it happened two times on the server. Disableing and enableing Live Weather cured it each times ….. Both showing the same METAR. Never had it before. Anyone seen this behavior?

Hi All, I've been flight simming for ever. I am fully conversant with FS2004, FSX, and Xplane 11. When MSFS2020 became available, I was straight in because the views etc looked great, but I find it the most frustrating of all the flight sims. I can't control any aircraft with my stick (Black Widow). If I initiate a turn, it will start and then lurch completely over out of control. I have adjusted all the sensitivities but makes no difference. Also, I can't get my "Pause/Break" button on my PC to have any effect, so no Active pause. So rather than spend even more hours on trying figure out the basics, I revert to the other sims. If anybody out there has experienced similar…

The Orbx support forum -- a place where you could go and see if others were having the same problem and, if so, what did they do to fix it. It was a PUBLIC forum with public answers. I see repeatedly here "Why don't you do it yourself and find out" and I think it should be noted that if ALL of us did that and got our own answers and NEVER said a public word then this forum wouldn't be much to read. We would all have our own private answers to all of the questions we had because we would have "done it ourselves to see". I installed update 8 the other day and the small update the day after and everything was working fine. Then all of a sudden, my content manager wasn't working properly even though nothing new was added. I have it narrowed down to 5 potential files right now but why does this happen? Are we getting mini updates every day that cause an issue? LouP
