Microsoft Flight Simulator (2020/2024)

My throttle has started to stay locked full on after take off for a some time and only becomes responsive after some distance flown I use a Hotas-x joystick Throttle works OK in P3Dv5 and XPlane 11 Is there a setting wrong or a different one I could try in MSFS 2020? xxd09

Hi guys, Maybe in this forum someone has a clue. Its now 3 months since they released an update to their product, over a month since they gave some generic update. I mean, you guys think its OK ? is it reasonable ? In their Discord they just gave the same copy&paste answer for the last 3 months "the team are hard at work on the update, no ETA" I know many people were bashing PMDG, but have a look, PMDG released about 6 or 7 updates since it was released. Plus they are not silenced as Fenix. I am really disappointed with Fenix TBH... 😞

No real issues here but thought we should kick this thread off so MG can have a single thread to review. 1 niggle is that I couldn't get the initialization process to reset / restart but I'm still learning. sp

Should be announced tomorrow I believe. Any predictions or wishes? Presumably it will be a Carenado model as before so looking at their back catalogue I'm hoping for a Turbo Commander (not really 'famous' I know) or a Stationair. Wonder what we'll actually get.

Hello! I have Honeycomb Alpha yoke which is a replica of Cessna yoke. I’m trying to assign the button on the screen below to the same button on my actual physical yoke. But I can't find it in the Controls menu. Can anyone help?

Anyone else experience the reverse buttons on the bravo throttles not working for the pmdg 737? They work fine on throttles 1 and 4 but 2 and 3 which I use all the time with the airbus do not register. I have heard that the cause is broken wires and I have sent 2 emails direct to honeycomb about this as I purchased my unit direct from them in Jan 2021. Its been 2 weeks now and I still haven't received a response to my emails. Anyone else having a problem with honeycomb not responding to emails? Thanks Don

So I just got a premium subscription of Volanta, got autosave on and now the sim freezes for 2 to 3 secs every 5mins and thats what I have the auto save timer set to....anybody else having this issue? is there a cure? Thanks Regards Paul EGCC

I have seen a number of references in this forum noting that the "physics model" of MSFS2020 is inferior to that of P3Dv5. Just curious how we know this?

Due to sourcing out a problem with my log screen showing black...and a suggestion it was/could be the vid driver I was using...(was using the latest W10/W11)..., I decided to try a legacy driver suite. I searched out a few forums to see which one might be recommended. A few forums had great review results for: nVidia 446.14, so I did a search and found the driver suite. With the latest suite I was getting 29-30 FPS in MSFS. I installed 446.14 and without scrubbing, and after rebooting and then running MSFS, I have boosted my on average FPS to 34-36 on a GTX 1070 (non Ti). Hi ; I just installed the honeycomb flight yoke in msfs2020 and calibrated it in Windows. Then started the sim and when i use the yoke the yoke actions for pitch roll are going opposite of what the yoke shows in the cockpit. In order to correct this, I have had to reverse the axis for the elevator and aileron in the control primary flight instruments section. I have seen posts saying that this is not correct and should be left at the default setting. Anyone know how I can correct this problem? I've tried disconnecting the yoke cables and re connecting Them, but the problem is still there. Thanks in advance. Al Skorich

Hi all, just a noob question to some experienced GSX users. I fly the JF Bae146. When it comes to the boarding via GSX Pro the program tells me to open exit 1or2, allthough all exits are open, no matter what airport. Did someone experience something similar? Or does the Bae 146 simply not work out of the box and have to start the whole "editing stuff"?

This is a really nice airplane, but the TDG GTN and the Garmin GX PFD do not quite see eye to eye.. (at least not yet). Here is an attempt to display the correct HSI needles on the standby indicator.. Testpage and LPV landings.. I'm really liking the AH Lockheed Electra L-10. But I have so many awesome planes now I try to rotate but this is my fave as of right now.

In game status says I am at 1.26.5.0 and Content Manager says I have nothing left to install BUT - can't find discovery flights for Seattle, St. Louis, Grand Canyon as listed in the Release Notes Other notes say there are 41 Discovery Flights but I can only find 31 listed under Discovery Flights in game I have over 350 flight hours now in the Sim but have never tried a Discovery Flight - what am I misunderstanding?

Having downloaded and installed GSX Pro - I went to use FSDT Live update - just to make sure everything is up to date. The process starts stating that it is Step 1 of 37 - but I never get beyond step 1 - as the 'update' get to the same point and then just disappears - as shown in the video below. I placed the following on Orbx but without any real Success - Maybe someone here can help?? I like to use a combination of The flight planning tool in the sim with Little Map - ie LP first and transfer to MSFS Sometimes - after transfer - the MSFS has a different approach set up - and this is the plan laid in the A/c's FMS What I find annoying is that once we have the A/c set to Fly - if one wishes to access the MSFS plan - I have to go through the whole process of setting up the plan again - because I cannot find a way to access it once the A/c is "Set to fly" Anybody know of a Quick Access back to the Plan

In every Mirosoft product ever made, you mouse click on the down arrow to expand a menu.... except bloody MSFS2020 controls options! It catches me out every single time! Forget your low FPS, microstutters and CTD... this really boils my word not allowed! Nuff said.

I purchased the FS2 Crew Pushback when it was posted that there were problems with the toolbar pushback app and the Fenix some months ago. The FS2 Crew Pushback didn't work properly in the Fenix, because you couldn't steer with the rudder pedals with the Fenix, so I just stopped using it. It FS 2 Crew app was updated about a week ago, and now everything works properly in the Fenix.. Much better than the Fenix Default Pushback.
