Microsoft Flight Simulator (2020/2024)

Hi all, every time I start MSFS, drone and external views initiate from the same position (behing the aircraft). Once I change point of view it stays during the flight but once I start MSFS next time again initial positions are reset and starts agaion in the position behind the aircratf. Any tip or idea how the initial position could be predefined or saved (either for the whole MSFS or at least for particular model/aircartf) ? Many thanks ! JM

Hi guys, like many of you, I fell in love with Flysimware Cessna 414. The attention to details is out of this world and I personally think that this product is top shelf stuff. I was wondering, any of you guys heard about what will be their next project? I hunted around their discord server and even asked the question there ...but got no answer on this. Is it known information at this point?

Every time I open FSRealistic besides having no option tab I keep getting a box that says Do I Want To Allow This App To Keep Making Changes To My Computer yes box is there along wit a No box. How do I get rid of this. It acts like the first time I opened this on installation. As someone else put it, I am underwhelmed with FSRealistic.

Somewhere here somebody said that they changed to a certain Nvidia driver and had great results. I haven't, and I seldom do anyway, touched my display driver since I rebuilt my PC some months ago. I probably installed a Vulcan driver (as I have X-Plane 11, although haven't used it much), but really cannot say for sure. Nvidia's GeForce Experience, and all the simplicity it promised, lured me into installed that and and updating to the latest driver automatically. Hello, maybe some of you know Prosim737, the Homecockpit builder suite. The Aircraft i have to use is missing most of the effects, like the smoke on the gear after touchdown. Is there anyone who can help me adding these missing effects ? Thanks Matthias

Hi: I have the alpha honeycomb flight yoke installed and have calibrated it to windows using the calibrate tool. When i try to bank the aircraft by turning the ailerons it starts moving slowly after a little bit more of the yoke it jumps and starts to put me in a roll. Once I try to get it stable the wings keep rocking back and forth and I can't get the artificial horizon to stay in once place. I have tried many sensitivity settings and have no luck. Does anyone have and solutions to stabilize the aileron bank? The pitch axis and other switches all work as required. This happens regardless of the aircraft I am flying. Hi, is there a possibility to find out the metar data from offline Weather used in MSFS? Since there is sometimes problems with online Weather I use weather preset. but I need metar for take off calculation and especially for QNH.

Hi: I just started to use MSFS via steam. Some of the add-ons say to put things in the "Community Folder" but I have 2. Which one do I use? E:\MSFS\Community or C:\Users\(XXX)\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft Flight Simulator\Packages\Community Thanks!

Early reports were that no matter what you had to be online to START the game, but once started, offline play could commence. Is this still true or can you be completely offline from the very beginning i.e. from powering on of the PC?

Just downloaded and installed the new Bonanza V-Tail. Very easy to start and taxi and could very easy become my favorite plane. The only problem is I never could find the button to set the altitude. Also would like to know V-Speeds. One downside is just as I was flying it for about ten minutes I had a CTD. Could have been me clicking all over the place looking for the altitude button. Hope is was all it was. Everything was so smooth. Please help me out here. Thanks, Roy

I bought the payware RNT last week and it's nice but heavy on fps and my load time has increased substantially. And this is with a 12700K and m.2 drive. I'm wondering if anyone else is seeing this behavior or if I have a scenery conflict or something.

Went to the Content Manager to delete a bespoke airport to avoid duplication with a third-party add-on I recently purchased, and coming out of nowhere I noticed some content for WU6 (Germany, Austria) was having an update, specifically EDDS Stuttgart and LOWK Klagenfurt airports and the Germany POI's (about 3.2GB in download size in total for the three updates). It's just me or these updates were previously announced somewhere?. Just curious!.

What is it, please? I noticed a similar thread here but many of the great planes recommend, even GA, have glass cockpits. I somehow prefer to look at steam dials. I fly almost exclusively now the JP Logistics C152. The added autopilot is a great benefit. I love the looks of cockpits of the current BAe 146 or MD 80 for MSFS (and miss the good old 737-400 or B767), but both 146 and MD80 deserve quite some study time and time is short now (job, family). Any tips, please?

Hi all, I am glad to present to you the new fouga Magister created by AzurPoly. This plane is one of my favorite planes that I had the chance to see several times in real life. It's a French military aircraft, designed and built as a training aircraft. It is different from other planes, we feel the design that comes from a glider. I find it quite sensitive to the winds, can real pilots confirm this feeling? The engine sounds are very faithful to those I have heard in real life, overall it is very good, I just regret the quality of the smoke which is poor, I hope they will improve it in the future.

Hi, Yesterday I tried to disable an Asobo airport, because a third party scenery was incompatible with it. But to my surprise, I couldn't find the content.xml file. How can I now disable an airport that comes by default in MSFS2020? Thank you in advance
