This post is for all desesperados, This is a nice tweak (actually not new) that should prevent a pretty common MSFS crash to desktop cause, by adjusting some Windows 10 GPU scheduler timeouts. It does not prevent some CTDs caused by MSFS internal bugs, because this tweak acts on Windows 10 itself. Procedure: 1. Slew mode puts the camera on the plane's tail. Is the any way to change that ? I would like to move the camera up, above the plane

Orbx Contrail Flightsim.to All future updates to be provided at the same time on all of the sites, including MSStore, which has been the exclusive source to date. Does anyone know anything what happened to the Wing42 development? It was a very active and communicating developer, but since release of the B247D there's complete silence. If anyone has any information whats going on/if sth going on, would be much appreciated! thx

I've just installed MS 2020 and every time I start it downloads a 56.64GB file. I'm on Steam and my UserCfg.opt file has "InstalledPackagesPath "D:\Packages" but the downloading screen doesn't tell where the update is going.

Of course we've all seen Ryan's Missionary Bush Pilot channel on YT, but has anyone followed in his footsteps? It seems like there's an insane number of bush landing strips there. As an example, this Flightsim.to mod has fixes for over 400 airstrips! Just browsing Flightsim.to I came across three or four pages of freeware airstrip mods. Orbx also has a freeware mesh. Has anyone invested any time there? Are these mods/mesh good? I'm thinking of firing up the Kodiak there and using Neofly... my fear is I will never leave 😄 If you've spent any time there in the sim, I'd love to hear about your experience.

Well, it was announced today at the Twitch Q&A. Sim Update 10 is postponed by at least two weeks. I believe the reason for the postponement is because they are trying to fix the issues with DX 12 and the FPS/performance of the last beta build. Looks like the public pressure and voting from the thread in the Open Beta forum was able to affect Microsoft/Asobo's decision.

Back in August 2020 watching the pre release youtube streams was a great time, the hope & promise of what this Simulation may one day become was incredible, it looked the bees knees. So after 2 years of development, where have we go too? Good day, I've been searching for the TrafficAicraft.bgl file in MSFS. I've boiled it down to the "OneStore" directory by searching the forums. Both my OneStore locations on C: drive and dedicated F: drive for my flight simulator are empty . I see on the forums it is meant to contain traffic.bgl and I think other bgl files? Any ideas as to why this should be empty? I have not modified any MSFS files. Regards.

I've only just started playing around with the User Config file and trying different post processing options. My main reason for this was to disable color grading and eye adaptation. This works well but I wanted to see how disabling sharpening would impact the appearance as I always found the trees especially to be unnatural looking. While not perfect, I actually think things look a lot more natural - the trees appear softer than I was expecting but still better than their jagged appearance with sharpening turned on. Hi all, I'm almost at the point of using msfs exclusively, but still like to go back to p3d occasionally. However trying to get my international airports with the same standard of detail I had with p3d from the recognised great add on makers. I know there are some really good airports on flightsim.to and i have a few but as there are so many new developers showing up i'm unsure of what are good add on makers and those just looking to cash in. Ideally i would like to have the same airports I had in p3d plus some new ones over time and funds, so i'm looking for advise on who to trust and who to stay away from I'm not interested in regional airports (apar…

Still kinda new to the efb/charting side of things but, I've been evaluating some efb options, such as fskneeboard and sky4sim. Both require manually downloading airport charts before hand (which can get tedious as there are quite a few for any given airport). I also will use these in VR, so that ability is a must. Is there a paid or free solution out there (not subscription based), that has a plugin that would allow for on the fly automatic viewing of charts (without downloading them first before hand)? Hello experts, i have trouble flying the mentioned approach: When i come from the LBU VOR @5000 fts then i slow down and descend to LBU and turn to UNSER @4000 fts, then i can not continue the approach (Autoland). Within seconds im above the Glideslope and the aircraft stays on 4000 and flys towards the runway with 252 degrees. @Fenix A320: Both Autopilots on, G/S and LOC is captured, APP activated - the aircraft stays on 4000 fts. @PMDG 737: G/S and LOC captured, both radios set to 109.9, both CMDs are on, both FDs are on, everything seems good - but as well the aircraft flys 252 degrees and stays on 4000 fts. Digital Design was formerly known as a high quality scenery developer in P3D. I was very excited to get LOWS Salzburg shortly after the release of MSFS and wasn't very nitpicking about the obvisiously bugs in the scenery due to the possible issues of the new platform MSFS. But now, after more then a year after release, no update, nothing has changed, not the slightes attempt to improve things. Has anyone noticed that when about ready to flare ( I am flying the Fenix A 320) on about 5% of approaches, I get severe stuttering, making a smooth flaring almost impossible. It reminds me of the old days ot FSX and P3D. I am wondering if this is a problem with the servers, since I am locked to 30 FPS and have no fps issues during the entire flight, except on these rare occasions on landing.

I decided to give the free version of the GTN 750 a shot.. when you click on the GTN it pops up as expected, but there is no way to move the window or even resize it? I'm not seeing much online about this but is this normal and the way it is as of now? Ultimately i'd be using this in VR and not being able to move / position it makes it not so great. Beta 10 on PMDG 737- 8 last night taxi out there was a small shed that my wing tip hit, I guess and received a "you have collided with a object" message or something to that effect and flight ended. Never happened before and have accidentally touched other objects but did not care because nothing happened. Is this new?
