Microsoft Flight Simulator (2020/2024)

The Documentation says the location is C;\users\username\documents\AivlaSoft\Client\Uplink. Or Server. My documents folder is empty. What am I doing wrong

Thanks to @lwt1971 for pointing this out. There will be a 20 kilometer CFD surrounding the plane, that will be coming to MSFS. I think it's probably SU 11 that it will come, with the thermals for gilders. This is what Seb said about the 20 kilometer CFD a few months ago:

Both the front view server and left view client use the same hardware, same MSFS settings and same scenery. Since 4 days my left view client shows bleedthrough on the ground. This is with default and addon airports. Only on the ground. I do not use any Cache. All suggestions are very welcome. Here a screenshot at EHAM (also at other airports) Edit : Solved it by going back to DX11 (looked good) and then returning to DX12.

The two I am focused on are the Headwinds A330-900 and the ProjectMegaPack ( PMP) A330-300. Is there anyway to get the default airports to be brighter. They are dark.

Should I wait for the new version of the honeycomb alpha? It has spring loaded key ignition, new form factor, xbox compatibility. I'm not sure if I should go for the original alpha or wait for the xtc model. What do you guys think?

I was considering one of these.. i've tried the pms and it works with any aircraft via the native pop up built into msfs by clicking on it in the nav bar at the top. What i'm confused on is if the TDS is the same, will it have native pop out/up ability (not a windows window like i've seen but the built in type that will work to move it around in the Aero in VR)? Does the TDS work in all aircraft at this point? The PMS one works in all aircraft, at least as a pop up nav bar window from what i can see in a few quick tests? Anyone know off hand on some of this? Here is an interim solution for those who use the TDS unit in the PC12. Unzip and drop into Community folder. https://www.dropbox.com/s/hsy33075z6ylede/tds-gtnxi-carenado-pc12v2.2.zip?dl=0 - Defaults to GTNXi in the panel if started on Runway or Apron - VOR2 gauge displays GTN glidepath information - Avidyne and duplicate EADI gauges disabled for performance reasons If not satisfied, remove from Community folder (I use Addons Linker). This should last us until Carenado publishes a PC12 update..

I see that the PUSHBACK APP has STAIRS listed.....does the A32NX have stairs that can be unfolded when Jetway is unavailable? Or can stairs be pushed to aircraft when selected?

For the last 24 hours I have been unable to activate satellite streaming data. I get the message that my internet connection is poor and that I am being switched to offline mode, even though the connection is is actually quite good (120 Mbps). Anyone else have this problem?

Went to reinstall but install never starts. Tried to find a way to actually contact msfs support but no luck there. Any ideas ?

I recently upgraded my cpu/mobo from a i7-7700 to a i7-12700k and it is paired with a 3060ti. However I feel like I cant turn anything settings up. I have a most settings at a medium/high. All drivers are updated but I feel like I am not getting the performance I should be like better ground graphics, smoother gameplay, etc etc. Im just curious on if I had my expectations up to high??

I'm like a broken record but I still can't believe flyby/tower views are still ranked so low on the msfs wish list. Who doesn't want to see their landing from a spotters perspective!? Hey folks, after trying to sign up and create a bug report on the "official" MSFS forums and realizing I'll have to wait a certain time there, I signed up here. In the recent days (!), I've been installing City Update I. Days, because once you click update, you can't abort it any more, and if you haven't maxed out your download bandwith in the settings, you're out of luck. However, after the update was finally installed today, I noticed that it wiped my whole community folder clean. Not even the community folder, it basically completely reset the whole simulator. This only started happening in the last couple of weeks for me. I'll plan a flight on Simbrief and import it into the sim the usual way. Then I'll change the departure from the runway to a gate/parking space. That's when the sim changes parts of the entire route. Sometimes it'll plug in a detour of 100 miles or more. Other times it'll do this weird back and forth between the origin and destination, taking different routes each time, turning what would be a 2 hour trip into a 6 hour trip. For example, this morning I did KFLL to TNCM. Routing is: SNAPR2 SUMAC Y421 HAGIT Y290 SLUGO DCT PJM DCT Imported into the sim with that routing. After changing departur…

I dont know what i did wrong. I have traffic but is not correct i have 737 BBJ's of saudi arabia air force in Mexico, 737 American Airlnes in Dubai, etc.. How do i correct this?

In MSFS user config/ local cache area, there is a file called EXE.xml that is used to auto load external programs automatically, such as FSUIPC and FS2CrewCommandCentre and VDGS etc... I have discovered in the last few days that it does not seem to be working, as these addons are not loading each time I start MSFS. After spending some time working on FSUIPC, I have found that even with a new EXE.xml file, FSUIPC was not loading on startup When I reverted back to the FSUIPC batch file option, it worked first time. I have used both the SkyDolly app and the default dev mode MSFS replay function and persistently experience vanishing aircraft in both cases. I can set up a fixed viewing spot within the airfield readily enough using the MSFS camera>showcase>drone and as reported by others am unable to get the camera to automatically follow the flight. I have to manually track the replay aircraft. But I haven't seen reported the second problem I have. Replay aircraft suddenly vanish a km or so outside the airfield perimeter. Hello all! I got AIG to work and I love it! However, I see that a LOT of airline schedules are outdated. For example, JetBlue is from 2019. Is there any way to get more up to date schedules for airlines? Thanks!

Hi, I'll make this short. Just bought the PMDG 737 and I was watching the official PMDG installation guide while installing. They mentioned that you should not load the PMDG 737 in dev mode at first launch (otherwise you can loose up to 75 % performance). Now, I had my devmode turned on from previous testing (use it to test performance and such), so I STARTED the sim in devmode, when the PMDG 737 was already installed, however I did turn it off before I launch and then proceeded to restart the sim (just in case, I guess) and load the PMDG 737. I didn't notice anything unusual.. Am I good? Thank you all 🙂

Evening all, I have downloaded both programs for use with MSFS but when I click on the.exe I get a message on screen saying it needs to update and will close and downloads a file called AIG_AIManager_1.1.0.42 but its an empty file. Then when I click on the .exe nothing happens. I''m on Windows 10. I use to have AIG OCI for p3d on the same PC six months ago but thought I had deleted everything. All of the sudden, my sound stutters irregularly in the sim. Totally annoying. As I do not find time for the sim that often nowadays, I can not pinpoint the exact moment this started, all I know is that it is a rather new phenomenon. Could it be due to one of the AMD driver updates? I tried everything to get rid of it, adjusting sound settings of my Sound Blaster Z, in the Windows settings, within MSFS. The issue persists. It is not linked to the spikes in the performance graph, yet it seems to be somehow related to the load within MSFS, as it is sometimes correlated with slight stutters of the sim. Does anyone also see this?

I am a bit confused here. I have the PMDG 737-600, I have about 10 addons in the Operation Center. All of them work fine except one. When I am taxing to the runway, the plane cannot turn left or right, just goes straight. When I take off , no problem to turn either left or right or up and down. So what is going on here and how do I fix it. Like I said, all the other addons work fine.
