Microsoft Flight Simulator (2020/2024)

After the PC12 release, I'm wondering what aircraft people would like to see Carenado release next? I'm not interested in People's thoughts on Carenado in general, just what you would like to see them announce is next in the works. Me personally, I'm hoping to see the S340 or a DO228 or Turbo Commander or similar.

I didn't think about it much when LativVFR came in these forums and told us their A321 is more so for the XBOX crowd. Now that they are releasing a A319 version it's starting to sting a bit seeing PMDG is giving us the whole 737 series. We could have the same thing now for the Airbus side. Fenix has yet to say anything about expanding their offering. That being said why can't LatinVFR team up with FBW and allow their models to fully be realized? Thinking of getting the Steam version now that I cannot seem to download the main version anymore (yes,, tried all the fixes, none work) Thing is I know I will lose all my Marketplace bought items (not many, but a few) but is there other Gotchas waiting for me? Does it install through Steam app or do I still have to install from the Windows Store or Xbox app (both refuse to let me download my fully paid version) ? Do I have to have Steam running to use it like Steam FSX ? Is it a pain in the ------- ? Hello Pilots.......I purchased my first mod (BN-2 islander) for msfs 2020 today and I am having trouble installing it it in msfs. I downloaded it from Blackbox and I unzipped the file and it does not have an installer. I tried copying the file and dropped it into the MSFS and no luck, aircraft was not in my hanger? I did some more research and said mods must go into the community folder. Next i googled "community folder msfs 2020" I found the community folder so I dropped the BN-2 file in that folder then opened up msfs 2020 again and looked in the hanger and still it wasn't there? So this is interesting. Randazzo has a model to predict the sales numbers of a specific new product from PMDG, and it had worked really well for P3D, to within even 2% of a margin of error of the actual sales. When Randazzo plugged the MSFS PMDG 737-700 numbers into his sales model, he thought it was broken because the sales model was off the scale. Turns out, despite how optimistic the sales model was in forecasting for unit sales of the PMDG 737-700 in MSFS and despite the fact that the sales model was off the scale, the actual sales of the PMDG 737-700 in MSFS was even higher than that. Hi, I finally have bought the Eye Tracker, however it won't work in MSFS. I could calibrate it without any issues. I had read that it causes issues when you had opentrack installed. I did deinstall that tool, however it didn't help solving my issue. I went to their website to check for solutions, but I think I did everything they wrote. At least all drivers and updates are uptodate. Is there a way I need to manipulate something on the registry to delete opentrack completely? At least I had read something like that: how would I do that? Or what could be another solution for that issue?

Hello, I was wondering if it's an issue on my end or not. When airborne with the FBW320N the ailerons are not moving when the plane makes a turn initialized by the autopilot. Is this normal behavior for the FBW ?

I tried to fly the C172 today on floats up in the mountains... not enough power especially in the hot weather. Once I landed I could not takeoff again. (probably could use some new water physics too!) I know we'll soon have the Kodiak but we really could use a ACA Scout, Maule, or T182/206 on floats. What would you like to see on floats? Any more word on how close this is to release? This is the final piece of my full conversion to MSFS from P3D. I thought they were in late beta but I might be mistaken.

Somehow the V35 seems to not be affected by the eye adaption effect. I tried moving the view up and down and it still stays relatively bright, while in the Arrow, there is definite difference as you scroll up and down. I didn't realize there is a plane by plane difference. There is a markedly different appearance between the two. I happen to like the brighter look of the V35 and it is much easier to read the instruments. In my car the dashboard always seems bright. Again, I know this has been argued back and forth, by my point is that evidently somehow there is a setting in some plane's cfg that turns this effect on and off. Has anyone else noticed this? I have read elsewhere that the final release of Sim Update 10 has been postponed till next week. If correct, those of us like me not brave enough to try the beta version will have to continue being patient. I cannot see this mentioned anywhere on here so has this been an official announcement?

Been without MSFS for 10 days now. Originally would not load due to 0x80004005 error, tried various suggestions, eventually uninstalled MSFS 2020 - and now get the 0x0000001 error when I try and reinstall. I have searched forums and the youtube channel and have tried every suggestion, including reinstalling windows without losing data and apps. Other than formatting the discs and starting from scratch - surely there has to be a solution? I would like to save the PC12 in a lightly loaded state, but still have the ability to adjust the weather after loading this flight. For some reason, the weather applet is blanked out whenever I attempt to save/reload such a situation.. Is there something I am missing?

It was formerly one of the best addon developers, but it seems the time is over. Sad, but I have the impression. I got a new computer system and wanted to install the Maddog of course. During the flight loading screen (when I want to start a flight with the Maddog), MSFS (Store) CTDs after about 2-3 minutes. I have had FS2020 for a couple of years but have only recently starting doing more than 'dabbling'. (I'm a long time user of 'the other sim'.) I noticed yesterday that the art deco terminal building at Shoreham looks as if it is made from plywood, in FS2020. I cannot recall if this has always been the case or that I noticed it only yesterday. All my other FS2020 scenery (default only) seems to be okay, as does the rest of EGKA. FWIW, I used to live only a few miles from Shoreham and have visited the place several times - so I do know what it's meant to look like! I performed an unsuccessful app repair.
