  1. Ok, this is bugging me more and more. For the new Top Gun Maverick downloadable content, if you download it, you get the Darkstar, which is a top secret plane, that can reach Mach 9. When you fly the mission for the Darkstar in MSFS, at one point, you are required to invert the plane. I can't for the life of me, figure out why the Darkstar needs to be inverted. Did the SR 71 require inversion as well, in order to reach its top speed? What is the scientific reason, that the Darkstar needs to be inverted? I'm sure it's related to physics, but I can't really figure out why inverting it is necessary, in order to reach the top speed of Mach 9. PS. I don't think the…

Hi folks. Earlier today I watched a video about programming controls in Spad.nExt. I noticed that one commentor indicated that everything done in that software can be done in FSUIPC. I am wondering if anyone is doing their controller setups in FSUIPC? I see many people talk about Spad.nExt and Axis and Ohs but I have never heard anyone mention programming their controllers in FSUIPC. Just wondering if anyone does that in this forum or any comments regarding its use for programming controllers.

Sudenly since a week ago, I can fly no more from USA airports, when I program a flight from KJFK, KIAD, or KEWR, the sim crashes. No problem with Europe or South America. The last addons I installed was South America Mesh from Market Place and GSX

Here is Pamiers airport created by Claude Roure. Pamiers - Les Pujols aerodrome is an aerodrome open to public air traffic, located in the municipalities of Pujols and Verniolle, 8 km east-south-east of Pamiers in Ariège. It is used for the practice of leisure and tourism activities (light aviation, helicopter, parachuting and model aircraft). https://www.simvol.org/en/downloads/airports/pamiers

I'm sorry if i missed something here, but weren't we supposed to have the release of SU10 sometime last week? I can see a few references to SU11 already, but SU10 seems to have been forgotten or something. Does anyone have any information about what's going on?

  9. So, it looked like there were small clues that iniBuilds was focusing more and more on MSFS. If you go to their forums and website, all iniBuilds has been doing was announcing one new MSFS product, after another new MSFS product, for the last several months. But today, I think there is even more indication that iniBuilds is focusing more on MSFS, possibly going all in on MSFS. The first clue was iniBuilds saying today about their EGLL (Heathrow) airport scenery: Alright. I get that. Maybe MSFS makes them more money so they don't think it's worthwhile to release EGLL for P3D and XP. But then, a poster asked iniBuilds if they would reconsider bringi…

  13. Hi there, this gets a bit lost sometimes. Therefore I would like to take the opportunity to announce some major improvements to our documentation page - and to praise the great work our 'doc-guys' are doing. MCDU Guide This was a huge undertaking of providing a FCOM-like reference documentation of the current A32NX MCDU. https://docs.flybywiresim.com/pilots-corner/a32nx-briefing/mcdu/ Aircraft Limitations A comprehensive list of the operational limitations of the A320 model currently used in the A32NX add-on with a focus on topics which are relevant for simulation. https://docs.flybywiresim.com/pilots-corner/a32nx-briefing/limitations/ Also:…

Just installed the Northern Sky Yakutat scenery and did a few flights - while the payware scenery works ok very close to it I get a huge scenery “void” where there is just nothing - when I try and fly over it my plane went into a tumble! - anyone any idea how to fix it? (note had some issues with Alaska and certain payware airports not wanting to load before - but never managed to fix them…) - will try and post some - any idea what is happening and how to fix it?

Decided to fly the CJ4 after not flying it for awhile. When I start the engines they wind up to full power. Throttles have no effect and they move visually. All my other planes work OK. I'm using beta and Bravo throttle quadrant. Any suggestions? Jim

  16. I do not have the Fenix A320 (yet), but in looking at some videos, it appears that the direction of the ailerons and spoilers is reversed. By that I mean that the spoilers and the ailerons go up on the up-going wing instead of the down-going wing. This can be seen clearly in the following video: Fenix A320 Olympic Air Flight OAL12B from Zakinthos (LGZA) to Preveza (LGPZ) - YouTube at around 5:16 as well as at 6:40. Is this a known issue? I have not heard it mentioned anywhere else, hence the question. Thanks, R.E.

I'd like to intensify my GA-flying using NeoFly and aircraft like the C172 and the X-Cub. I'd like to do flights up to roughly one hour flight time. I am looking for some attractive homebases to start from. These are my desired criteria, with decreasing importance: 1) A region with an appealing, varied landscape (mountains, coastlines, spectacular landscape formations, interesting cities ...) 2) A nice addon scenery for the homebase airport, freeware or payware 3) Some nice addon airports in the vicinity as possible destinations, mostly freeware 4) Enhanced default scenery in the surroundings (world updates etc.) 5) All or …

Hello , I can't get the managed altitude to work, the dot appears at the side of the altitude (legacy/lock interface same result), but it does not follow the altitudes fixed in the flight plan and visible in navigator display and MCDU. It always follows the selected altitude by the knob. (A320neo asobo, but also 747 ). The follow of the waypoints/LNAV works correctly. Would like to reach programmed altitudes as in this video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_d1TBaz7cBg Thanks
