I have finally - decided to adopt the TBM in my Hangar as one of my Go TO single engines - BUT - try as I might - I cannot get the autopilot button to work by pressing with the mouse - on either default Asobo aircraft or additions I use the Honeycomb Bravo - and all the rest of the buttons work with the flight controls - FD -YD - Nav - VS etc but not the dedicated AP button - either - and also tried the mouse with the Bravo disconnected Unless someone can help ---- it looks as if I will have to change to the C PC12 for type

Hi all, after installing AIG Manager & Traffic Controller (I followed the included manual as well as two separate highly viewed YT tutorials - just to be sure) I noticed my frames drop from e.g. 60 - 70 FPS at KLAX to around 20 - 25 FPS... Am I missing something? Is anyone working on this? The city just completed the new Saint Petersburg Pier which is right beside Albert Whitted Airport. We have the Sunshine Skyway Bridge which now lights up in colors at night. There is Tampa International Airport and Saint Pete Clearwater airport as well. Howard Frankland and Gandy Bridges in Tampa Bay. Sure would be nice to see some scenery upgrades of this stuff flying around this beautiful area...

The Italian WU seemed to introduce this issue; cities with already very good PG pre-update (eg Napels), were given an apocalyptic make-over by hyper-generation of ugly trees. They posted than an update saying it was solved, but it isn't. There are many PG cities with too many trees and the latest city update seems to have the same issues, as described in this video and highlighted in the comments: (18) Microsoft Flight Simulator - BEFORE and AFTER - City Update 1 Comparison - YouTube Oddly, not all cities seem to have the issue. When will they finally fix this extremely annoying bug?

Dumb question. Where is the manual for the mod stored. The installation procedure does not say. Thanks for any help.

I tried some crosswind landing (to test the bad claims about its unrealism). But already setting the winds seems to be broken. If I set it to 4 km/h, I get 20kts announced in the ATIS of the airport, and 11kts indicated in the ND of the Fenix A320. The windsock, on the other hand, indicates something more like 8kts. The plane has a 4° crab at 170kts, which translates to 11kts indeed. But why is the setting and the ATIS broken? What's going on?

I know there was an issue in a previous build with generic jet sounds appearing in the sim, a ‘hairdryer’ sound as people referred to it, but it was fixed. Well I have the latest version of the sim but I have it and it is doing my head in. It is in external and internal views, engines off or on. I cannot get rid of it. I have AIG models installed for VATSIM traffic - I don't know if that has something to do with it but the sound occurs whether I’m connected to VATSIM or not, and all other AI is turned off. Turning the other aircraft volume levels to 0 does not help. Is there anyone, please, who knows of a cfg or xml file parameter I can change or something I can do to get…

I was wondering if anyone here upgraded from a RTX3080 to a RTX3090Ti. If so what was the difference ? With the 3080 is till have stutters and only 22 FPS at the gate at Cologne Aerosoft. CPU is I7-10700K

Whenever I create a custom view, and recall it afterwards, the view is changed. I store the views on the numeric keyboard The problem is with all planes As an example : this is the custom view stored And this is what I get when I recall the view - the zoom is changed and shifted to the top and left

Turned on AI traffic again after i had it turned off since SU3 or so. Took off and noticed some nav- and anti-collision lights in the distance so i headed in the direction of the traffic only to find out that there are only nav- and anti-collision lights to be seen but no aircraft. Tried a few other flights, always the same problem, lights but no aircraft.

To find airports and other scenery in a certain given nation. click on scenery, release the mouse button, now hold down the same button and move the mouse downward If you click on More Countries the smaller nations pop up including those with 1 or 2 airports, like Montserrat. That Island is in the Caribbean, not the Iberian Mountain Montserrat where Wagner's Opera Parsival locates the Holy Grail. (Sorry, I love Wagner's Operas, he he).

Hi All, I am flying the Default Beechcraft G36 in MSFS with the addon Garmin G1000Nxi on a flight from KSAN to KSFO RW28R. My issue is, when entering Approach to RWY 28 R at KSFO, ILS Frequency for runway does not show up the "Primary Frequency" Box, which is empty. I have the latest Navigraph data base installed and running SU9. Any ideas on what is going wrong, is this a database issue? Bill Clark

i tried setting the lod terrain to 8.0 (800) and object to 6.0 (600) and made the userconfig read only however this didint improve my visuals

As can be seen in my signature I have an old very mid range system. But I can still run 4 screens including pop out G530 for AirManger and control with knobster. The multi views are great, much more realistic than NVIDia Surround or similar. With side monitors angled the immersion is fantastic, much nicer than VR IMHO, it is nice to have functioning knobs and be able to run all the switches and dials on the controls. I get much better frame rate than I do with similar setup in X-planes multi screen views. FS2020 is not quite as mature as X-plane version, but this is only BETA, so a fantastic start. During the FSX days, the inadequacy of the simulator's weather engine was well publicized as well as the "must have" of ActiveSky Next to address the weather engine issue. What is the general consensus of the MSFS 2020 weather engine ? Does the weather engine do the job or is an addon needed to render weather correctly for this simulator as well ? Just checking to see what the general assessment is on this most important aviation point.
