Hello all, new to the forum and glad to be here. I have 2 trackir 5's and have had them both for several years. Never had a minutes problem with them. I use them on IL 2, x plane10 and FSX 10. They work great on these flight sims. I purchased MSFS 2020 standard addition a week or so ago and just now installing one of my trackir 5's on the sim since I have all my other flight sim hardware all hooked up and running. I've had trouble when running DX12 and trying to use the Piaggio 149, I had double graphics for the controls (and switches). I finally decided to contact their support. Sent off an email and figured I might or might not hear from them. Lo and behold, 10 minutes hadn't passed and I had a return email. Andrey sent me a link to a ver 2.1 installer that I had somehow missed. I'm back in Piaggio bliss. Just wanted to pass this along, great support from ATSimulations.

The ASOBO idea for the "Modern FM" has been around since the release of FS 2020 / MFS, but it was not until SU 10 beta, which I am testing since it was made available, that some new entries in: flight_model.cfg engines.cfg such as: modern_fm_only and all of the "reinject" directives were made available. I have just found out that the PMDG panel load and save work together with the build in MSFS load/save feature. If you use the build in load / save feature from MSFS, the PMDG panel state gets automatically saved and load togehter. This is a killer feature for me! (because msfs is not stable as i liked it to be...) I have read almost all thread and topics about the PMDG here, but i have not read anything about this great feature. I love it! Sorry for making a new topic about it, i hope its ok. Are there any other planes, with this feature?

Unable to adjust altitude knob from 1000's to 100's. As an example I can't enter flight level 26300'. Can't get the mouse to move to the 100's select. Any ideas as to what I'm missing on this? Thanks Walt

I was just looking at some things.... was on approach into KORD recently and the textures had not fully rendered even on short final. Had me question what was going on. I looked through the nvidia overlay and CPU usage was about 20% whereas GPU was 80%-90%. What should this be normally? i9-12900k / RTX 3080ti

Hi, I would appreciate some basics on Turboprops. I gather that the engine is spinning at a constant RPM and the thrust is determined by the blade pitch or bite into the air. Correct? The Kodiak is the first Turboprop that I’ve flown with a functioning prop (blue) lever I think. But I’m not sure what the proper use of it is and the relationship with the throttle (black lever) Are both levers controlling blade pitch? What is each lever doing exactly? What is Beta? Is that just reverse pitch/thrust? Why not just call it reverse? Should that be used on all landings or only STOL situations? Can it be used to back up on the ground? Feathering is whe…

Hi, has anyone tried Vessels Enhanced AI by Seafront Simulations or Vessels Global Shipping by Seafront Simulations? Is it even worth getting the first if you buy the second one? And do you know how they compare to Global AI Ship Traffic MSFS v2? Lastly can you use them simultaneously? I use the free Global AI Ship Traffic from flightsim.to and find its actually quite good. But just curious to know if its worth spending for one of the payware?

Hello, i have a Question to a Flightmodel in MSFS. It flies more or less ok, but the Problem is in making a Turn. Lets say we fly stable at 8000ft at 220kt, no wind. When i now do a 90 deg turn left or right, the nose dives sooo much down and i need sooo much trim / elevator forces to hold the Altitude. I am a PPL Pilot and know a little bit about Flightdynamics, not of a B737, but on a cessna. I know it is not to compare, but i know that also a B737 should not need soooo much trim/elevator and also thrust to holt the Altitude in a turn like described above. So my question is if anyone can help here and give me maybe a idea which parameter in…

Whenever I go to turn off "Display Tail Number" and "Append Heavy Sign" and go back to check the options. They are both set to ON again. Seems like the settings are not getting saved and it's getting annoying. Doesn't seem like the values are getting stored. Even though the entry boxes are blank, the tail number is still showing the name that I entered. None of these settings under the Custom section is saving. Anyone else facing the same issue?

On release of the 700 it sounded to me like the EFB was quite ahead in development, now it will be almost half a year after release - even after the last 737 variant (-900) will be released. I really need to stop to believe in that marketing blabla of RSR. I can't express how much I despise opening my freaking browser to get a metar while flying the 737. That feels like 1999 all over again. Can't wait for that to end.

So Ive been flying the DA-40 around for fun , great slow plane for sight seeing....Anyways Ive noticed that I hit the RED rpm constantly even in level flight... The only way I can keep the rpm indicator warning from going off is flying with maybe quarter throttle which puts the LOAD around 15 percent but drops my speed way below max cruise... I dont see any type of engine controls other than the throttle..... Is having high rpm indicator going on and off just a normal thing in this plane? Am I doing it wrong? Is there some hidden rpm controller somewhere I just havent found? Thanks in advance...

Just curious with those that have a 3070 card. My card has 8gigs of memory and notice with MSFS that its always just about maxed out. Anyone have this issue and if not, then what I can do to lower the amount of VRAM it uses?
