Microsoft Flight Simulator (2020/2024)

My settings for live weather ( General Options>Data) have always had it enabled and it has always opened with live weather. In the last week, although the live weather option in the settings remains in the 'on' position - when I open the simulator at a gate or the runway - I get 'artic chill' weather. When I go to the weather icon on the top menu bar - both live weather and real time are turned off. Not sure what has caused this or how to remedy it. Just started in the last week and to my knowledge I have not made any changes to the sim settings. Any thoughts?

With Fenix a320, the position of fuel truck while refueling is wrong. Truck positions itself in the left engine and belly of the aircraft. There is no such issue with FBW 320. How can this be rectified? Can I edit the position of fuel truck? Best wishes Ash

I had the following flight-plan: EGPH/24 GRIC3C GRICE DCT INBAS N560 DAVOT EGPE/INS.I23 (please see imgur link for illustrations). This was planned via SimBrief/Navigraph, exported to .pln and loaded in MSFS. That is to say that I was coming from the south on the N560, intending to fly over the INS VOR, then following the 41 radial out to D8.5, where I do a right-hand turn to line up with the IDX LOC and GS. Hello all, Recently saw this release of Sitka PASI: https://secure.simmarket.com/mokui-pasi-sitka-airport-msfs.phtml I've been wanting a good Sitka scenery since forever, but I wanted to hear some opinions first. Especially to ask whether the jetway moves or not? The feature list doesn't mention it and none of the pictures show a connected jetway so I'm assuming that it's static. Confirmation would be appreciated though. I also believe DCDesigns had mentioned a while ago that they would be working on Sitka... Not sure if they still will though, with this now released.

Hello! I bought a game a month ago. When I was flying around in Cessna 152 I used to notice my marker beacon's receiver flashing and beeping. About a week ago the receiver became silent. No flashing, no beeping. It took my attention and I decided to check the thing. I know that are not too many marker beacons left in the world but I found out that MCO airport still has inner beacon. RW 17L. Localizer 110.95. So, I tried a few landings there, but the marker beacon receiver is silent. Again, no flashing, no beeping. Hi, if I want to get an automated co-pilot that will go through check lists with me and also deal with ATC, is there a set of products for a co-pilot and ATC that I can use that will have the same voice for both their interactions with me, and their interactions with ATC?

I had to change my Microsoft password and when I restarted MSFS for some reason it had me update all the Standard data I had previously deleted. But that is beside the point, I also had to redo all my General \ Assistance & Control Options (luckily I had a backup of my Usercfg.opt file). I loaded the World Map and I noticed the Local and UTC times are the same. They were always different based on my location. Is there a setting to allow for the Local & UTC times to display correctly? **I just realized it only displays if I enter a Departure Airport, otherwise Local & UTC are the same** Regards

When will they ever fix this? It's a bit too overdone. The skies and ground colors look nice when I'm I pan the cam and focus most of it on the top half while in cockpit view, but when I pan down to look at my instrument panel, the outside view becomes extremely overexposed and washed out and you can barely make out the details. This effect is overdone and it has bothered me since release. Does MS/Asobo know of the issue? Since I have my default cockpit camera set perfectly to look at both my instruments and the outside, I want to be able to have both properly exposed. I hate having to choose whether my instrument panel (bottom half) gets properly exposed of the top half …

I read that the cessna 310r have a cervice ceiling of 20000 feet, but i struggle to climb after passing 10000 feet in the milviz c310. Im fully loaded, could that be the reason? I really had a hard time follow atc instructions too go 18000 feet...

Hi all I have been wondering if the engines on big jets such as a 737-800 are always throttled together in sync or is there any occasion (other than a malfunction or failure) when different throttle settings may be used for each engine, such as quicker turns or cross wind landings etc?

Hi all I have just purchased the PMDG 737-600 and am unable to get the spoiler to work with my Saitek throttle quadrant. I have tried both the single button Extend/Retract Spoiler options mapping them to Joystick L Z+ and Z-, as well as the Spoiler axis +/- using Joystick L Z But nothing is working. The handle does not move in the cockpit (the flap level can be seen to move forward and back). I have also checked in the external view as well just in case, but no spoilers are moving...

I have seen multiple issues with loading screens but my issue is I make it past all the loading screens but then once in game the airports and planes don't load in. Guys. Just decided to try some alternate settings. I noticed in NCP when I go under manage 3d settings / program settings / MSFS that when I select max frame rate, it does not appear to actually cap the frames at all. For years I would use this in p3d. So I'm familiar with it. Is there a gotcha that I'm forgetting?

Hi All, Every time I load into I flight I like to change the cockpit freelook speed to 60 and freelook momentum to 0, the same for external camera Is there a camera config file that I can make these changes too so I do not have to manually do it every single flight? ******** I just realized you can do this in the camera settings under the option menu and save the values. I can highly recommend this virtual First Officer for MSFS. I am using it with the PMDG B737. It runs flawlessly and is highly configurable. Sure ups the realism!
