Microsoft Flight Simulator (2020/2024)

Is the Marketplace still down, or is it just something I have screwed up on my system. Not only that, but today I notice everything I bought there like aircraft, are gone from my program. I then go to the Microsoft Store, look into my Library, and they are not there anymore. Anyone else having this problem? Thanks

It seems to me I've solved this problem before but can't remember how. In the Caravan if I start on the runway with the engine running, I am looking through the pilots skull, if I switch to the copliot, same thing. I don't want either of them in the cockpit, much less looking through their heads. Mike

I'm very new to HDR, and have recently been experimenting with it in MSFS on an ASUS XG49VQ. I enabled HDR in Windows display settings, and the desktop looks good, and stable. As soon as I load MSFS, right from the loading screens, I get very frequent but inconsistently timed screen flickering. This flickering persists in the menus, and in flight, regardless of whether or not I enable HDR in the MSFS options menu. As soon as I disable HDR in game and in Windows, the flickering is gone. Hello everyone, Apologies if I've posted this in the wrong place, I'm new here. I'd like to know how to convert ground and road vehicles to be drivable in fs2020. I know fs2020 is a flight sim and is meant for flying but I also love driving around in road vehicles to see the world from the ground even though it can be a little rough sometimes. How hard is it to convert the road vehicles to be drivable and how do I do this/what software do I need? Any help is much welcomed. Thank you!

Hi all, I have a question on refresh rate. I have my main monitor which can go to refresh rate of 75, then I have my side monitor that has my flight plans and other tool. Now that monitor can only go to 60. Is the best to set both of them to 60, or keep the one that is used for flight SIM for the actual flying at 75? Watch many videos on the proper settings for NVIDIA and have my frames locked at 30 on flight Sim and some are telling me to set thru the Nvidia CP 75 for the frames, or even 2 frames lower than the refresh rate for example 73. I do notice if I lock to 75 the frames via CP, I can't lock to 30 in the sim even though I gave 30 set in the flight sim. Now here i…

I really enjoy the Fenix A320, but it's hard to fly because I have to have dedicated time to do it. The main problems: 1. Saved flights don't work. 2. 2X time compression is not very useful. 3. Transit Option doesn't work. 4. The is no real pause, causing my PC to run hard and waste power. So how do you guys do it? Am I just missing something obvious? I'm thinking about getting a refund, but if Fenix is going to fix this I'm fine waiting. BTW "other vendors" support options 1,3 and have time compression up to 8X which seems to work. I can save the flight and return later, transit to descent on the other, and use time compression. …

I flew over Boston and thought the waterfront looked terrible compared to other cities like Baltimore. Does anyone know if anyone is making a scenery upgrade for the city?

I’ve got a new OLED TV to game on, and from what I’ve read, Win 11 does a much better job with HDR than Windows 10? True/False? Any other considerations before upgrading to Win 11? Are Win 10 apps like Axis and Ohs, Pilot2ATC, AIG, etc, fully compatible on Win 11?

Fenix has created a masterpiece with the A320. However, what is with the auto pilot just turning off out of the blue..no reason. The throttle was clicked in correctly and it was not moved. Anyone else see this ?? Is there an answer?

Their website video shows the 750 installed in the Carenado Ovation. Does anyone know how to do this? I can only use it in the 414 and Milviz 310. I'd love to have it in Carenado planes such as the Mooney and Arrow 3.Thanks.

desparately in need of Active Cam or XP realistic type of addon... suprised nobody has complained about this yet .... aircraft rattle, bounce, shake and vibrate on runway and touchdown... they are not stale and rock steady as in the sim (yet only XP11 simulates that anyway with XPRealistic)

Yesterday, I took off from Darwin and was climbing to my cruising altitude when I noticed something which appeared odd. The right engine vibration indicator progressed up to 1.3 then reduced to 0.1, before starting to climb again. I managed to capture the video below which shows both engines vibrations - which to me seem to be excessive for what was pretty calm weather - no failures had been set and no faults were showing. Shortly after I captured the videos, both engine's vibrations settled on 0.6 and I did not notice any further unusual movement. Is this normal? is there an explanation? Do you know if FSUIPC has a binding for the pedal disconnect button on the tiller within the Fenix A320? I have tried searching but not found a solution yet - if indeed there is one.

Not sure of the cause of this but I use my Thrustmaster twist for rudder and today I discovered that the left rudder was no longer mapped to the left twist where the right rudder / right twist was still mapped. Hmm best to check that one out if you have steering issues. sp

Hi fellow simmers, I'm enroute a flight and lost all my sounds after unplugging my headset. This is not the beta! I've just done things the way I usually do them. Take off with my headset (cheapo track IR) and when on cruise alt, unplug my headset and use the speakers for sounds. This time all sounds were gone after unplugging my headset. Of course I tried to plug in the headset again but there are no sounds from MSFS. I can hear sounds from windows and other apps but none from MSFS. Anyone any clue? Thanks!

i have lost all the ai traffic, with live traffic enabled i have some traffic but if i enable ai traffic i have nothing (slider set to 100). i didn't have that problem before Anyone can help? I have this inside official folder thanks

Hi, Strange thing happened today while using my yoke. All of a sudden, when I turn the yoke full left or full right, when I reach about 65-75 degrees, aside from the ailerons moving in the correct direction, my eve viewpoint goes straight to the overhead panel and locks in that position! Some of the time, I’m able to hit the “reset eye view forward” to go back to the forward view, but other times I have to unplug the yoke (turning the yoke back does nothing to fix the eye view position). I have been using this yoke since it first came out and never had this happen. Also, I checked the assignments page to see if something else assigned itself to this function, but not…

It has taken a long time, but the C414AW is now officially out of beta, and available for general release. I have been reluctant to recommend this airplane in the past, since it was being updated on a weekly basis, and it was a chore, keeping up with every twist and turn. However, now that it is finally out, I would say it is really worth a look, if you have not already! It looks great, it flies great, and the avionics finally work well also. In order to avoid "jaggyness" on my G1000 (non analog) panels I've had to max out my Render Scaling setting. I tried DLSS in SU10 and the jaggies are gone.....but didn't care much for the washed out appearance or the way airspeed, altitude, Torque, etc. values would blur as they changed. I realize setting Render Scaling at 200 creates a significant performance hit and was curious if anyone else has experienced this and has a solution other than what I've done. I have an i7-11700 and a GTX3070. Currently using my old FS9/FSX monitor (1080p @ 60hz). Running most settings at Ultra/High locked at 30fps and V-Sync on to get rid of tearing. Thanks!

I can't find this anywhere: How do I move the thrust levers to the ground idle position? From what I read in the manual there's the flight idle and then there's the ground idle. Is there a special command that has to be mapped to the joystick/HOTAS? Or is it just moving the throttle fully aft? I've turned of the auto ground idle option in the EFB.
