I'm on a 1440p monitor and I'm about to experiment with DSR Factors turned on so I render at 4K - what other settings in MSFS should/could I turn down? For example, is texture supersampling set at 8*8 just overkill and duplicating what the DSR factor is doing? Anyone already gone through this and can recommend what should be turned down as surplus to requirements with DSR factor turned on?

Somehow, I have lost my default A320Neo from the Hanger. I can see it in the 'Official' folder but it is not showing up in the hanger. Any ideas how I can get it back? Thanks

Being a relative newcomer to the flight sim world, I've gotten generally comfortable learning the single pistons, double pistons, turbo props, etc. My plan has been to work my way up bit by bit to the heavies. I'm currently at a place where I'd like to learn the smaller jets, which I believe leads me to the CJ4 or Honda Jet. For someone learning jets for the first time, which is the recommended aircraft?

HI I have downloaded and extracted to my Community Folder When i go to select aircraft I only see "Textron Aviation , Cessna Citation CJ4" Should I see a version called "Working Title" as well or does it overwrite the default? Version 1.1 of the just Flight Hawk adds the facility to add your own name to the Red Arrows 2021 custom livery, and it provides a PSD template to do so. I have opened the template and changed the pilots name to my own - but then what do I do? Not sure where I should place the template with my name as the pilot. Thanks in anticipation for the solution.

I wanted to duplicate the diplomatic flight out of Taiwan today with the PMDG 737. Just wanted to share my findings on what I think is very close to their actual flight plan in case someone would like fly the route themselves. The flight is from Songshan airport in Taiwan to Osan AFB in South Korea. Interesting flight path by the Speaker's plane traveling into and out of Taiwan as the flight is avoiding certain airspace for obvious reasons. The plane left this morning (ET), which was 6:00PM Taiwan time, to go to South Korea. Back in 2013, @Bob Scott released an utility for FSX named Quantum Leap, that allows "an aircraft at cruise to be repositioned in place and time"... and to allow you to skip the boring cruise part (similar to the Jump Ahead feature in the FSX/P3D QW 787 and the FSL A32x). Several people (including Bob himself) confirmed that it worked in P3D... but I couldn't find any reports about this working in MSFS. So I tried it with the Fenix A320, and guess what? IT WORKS!! Hi all I'm planning a world tour, which will be my first in any sim. I've not decided 100% on aircraft yet, although I'm leaning strongly towards the excellent Flysimware Cessna 414 pressurized twin which I bought this week. From flysimware.com: "The Chancellor has a maximum speed of 270 mph, a climb rate of 1,700 feet per minute, and a ceiling of 30,000 feet with a range 1,528 miles." Now, I'm looking at maps and trying to find a route. The Pacific seems challenging. Anyone here completed a round the world trip yet, or have any suggestions?

Hi all, I’m glad to present you the last plane from AzurPoly. The SOCATA TB-30 Epsilon is a military training light aircraft designed and built by SOCATA in Tarbes, France. With one engine and a crew of two, teacher and student, it looks like many other training aircraft. It is used by France, Portugal, Senegal, and Togo. The feeling is just incredible, it’s like a mini jet, the sound is good and PBR texture looks very realistic. I made a trailer aboard this plane , I hope you will like it 🙂

Hi guys. Have questions to ask please and appreciate your help. Been out of P3D since 2020 and haven’t flown since. Thinking of coming back now and just move over to MSFS. Was flying all study level aircrafts. 1. How’s the fps on MSFS compared to P3D V4.5? With AIG AI traffic as much as possible. Like to fly with AI traffic and mostly offline. 2. I assume no longer able to do like FS9 where you can set everything to max and 100% AI and still get above 30fps! so what can we expect here? Better than P3D? Hi there, I have the throttle quadrant plugged into the yoke and a second quadrant plugged into the usb port on the side of the yoke. When I test them in the joystick calibration app in windows both show they are working as they should HOWEVER when I try to assign an axis, one of the quadrants is shown going from OFF to FULL with no increments, like a switch. The other quadrant (USB) works as it should. I tested the whole rig in X-Plane and everything functions as normal. All testing I’ve done shows no hardware malfunction. (I’ve tried using different USB ports) Unhappily, the problem only seems to be with MSFS. Anyone have…

I know about the two options for the GTN 750, but since I really would like to have an as close to the real thing as possible GNS 430 / 530 coupled system, or simply a 530, what are my available options other than the default that comes with FS 2020 Premium or Deluxe ( I only own the Standard ), and which would you choose ? After a long hiatus from FSX, when I got back in flight simulation with MSFS, I was reading how people were paying over $100 USD for study level airliners. I was thinking that's pretty expensive, but if it's the norm for flight simulation, I guess I will have to pay if there is a study level airliner that I want really badly, especially a newly released study level airliner. Now you can buy a newly released study level airliner for $35 USD! But the PMDG 737-600 is not the only cheap study level airliner on its release. The Fenix A320 is way cheaper than the FSLabs A320. I am for the most time enjoying MSFS. However what I find strange is that almost every time after a successful flying session without problems, when I start MSFS again, I get CTD or just freeze before getting to the “Ready to Fly” screen/button. After one or two restarts of MSFS it get back to normal and I can fly again without problems. Shutdown MSFS and then start a new session, and the CTD or Freeze problem is back. This makes me wonder if somethings goes wrong when MSFS is shut dowm, which then by somekind of miracle is corrected after a few restarts? I came from using FSX, P3D, and XP so I have a good feel for sims but this one is kind of different. 1. Why doesn't the keyboard command for the parking brakes work? Just launched the sim and got a message that online services were unavailable. Anyone else?

I'm kind of new to this GTN 750 and I was wondering if someone can tell me how to set it up correctly if I wanted to go to my local airport and practice flying an ILS. I have no problem flying an ILS as long as it is set in a flight plan to another destination. I just want to go and practice flying an ILS but no matter what I do I cannot get it to work at my local airport without setting a different destination. In P3D I had no problem whatsoever setting up the ILS while doing transition at my local airport. I have tried every way I can think of but nothing works. What am I doing wrong??

On my old computer I originally had MSFS on the C drive. I run the Steam version and since I'm not good at creating custom views I would use ones from others. I would put them in C:\Users\[Username]\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft Flight Simulator\SimObjects\Airplanes\(Aircraft name). With my new computer Steam is installed on C drive but MSFS is on it own NVME drive (D). I still have the same folder C:\Users\[Username]\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft Flight Simulator\SimObjects\ on the C drive and can see some Airplane folders in there but not sure where to put the camera.cfg files. I've tried in there, under the name of the airplane I'm testing with but views did not change. …

I just had to blink in like a quirk and just say Holy word not allowed Batman. This latest beta and looking at the thermals on windy.com and ground effect and setting my ForceFeedBack 2 to -50% sensitivity settings on all my axis's including rudder. And everything feels like in the world of aviation as far as physics are concerned and are coming together. Amazing to use the shift-z tool and actually watch on inclines and declines plus weight your ground speeds fluctuate and you have to adjust throttle accordingly. Dang been waiting waaay too long for this patch starting to feel like the sky is coming to life. …

A while ago I decided I was fed up chasing FPS so I went and got a good PC, with 11900 intel CPU and a 3090 GPU. As soon as it arrived I put up most of the texture options to ultra with LOD at 200 and removed the bloom and camera lense selections. With a default aircraft I can now set the FPS to 30 on my triple screens running with 3840x1280. I am now finding that with more detailed airports and the complex aircraft, my FPS is diminishing, sometimes down to 10-20. I have read that others are getting better results but I think my issues are due to running 3 separate monitors, so my GPU has to push out 3x signals. I would love to get an ultra wide scree…

When I try to use the GPS 530 in MSFS, it's impossible to make it work. These blue and yellow colors that come up when trying to program the radios and the destination just don't work. I've downloaded the supposed "fix" for this, and although I got the "go to" to allow me to put in my destination, I can't get the Nav radio to work so that I can set the frequency for the destination. I click on the correct button but it just doesn't move. Has anyone else found this GPS programming difficult? I'm doing this on the 172 and other planes that have the direct to capability. I'm at a loss for this.
