Microsoft Flight Simulator (2020/2024)

I am trying to figure out how to put a custom paint job on the Milviz 310. I have an old friend who used to own one and occasionally take me up in it. He really loved that plane. He is currently going through some serious health issues and I had hoped to paint up my Milviz 310 like his was as a tribute. It wasn't a complicated scheme, but is was a very light shade of purple. He said it was champagne pink/purple. He thinks the plane is still in service. If I can figure out how to post the pic I have, I will. He is also looking for more pics. This morning the load screen stays on a synchronizing data screen : I have 2 pc’s with the same scenery / Addons and both Beta SU10.The other pc has no issues. If I click the screen away I am back at the desktop. All suggestions are welcome. - - - Solved it by checking the Gameservices in the MS Store. There was an updated version. I let it install, restarted the pc and it is working again..

flatscreen msfs + tobii foveated rendering = 300% fps gains and more? when i read text on flatscreen monitor, only the word in my center if sharp, everything else unsharp. so that would mean .. tons of fps increase? 3 cm next to my center could easily be 30% of the resolution of my center of the eye. if 100% of your screen is at the monitors native res and u get 40 fps in EDDF... then what would happen if only 1-2% of your screen is at 100% and the rest is 10%? holy word not allowed 😄 why is the holy m0ly word not allowed?

Hey, is there a list or comment on Fenix A320 what they will update with the next patch? I have made a small list with stuff that I wish to be improved, but since its been on the market for a while I guess, many of my points are already on Fenix lists. Hi folks I bought the Fenix A320 MS2020 a couple of weeks ago, and I'm happy with it, apart from a taxi problem on 2 occasions. The push back, and taxi from the gate to the runway hold position goes without any issue. The aircraft is stopped, with parking brake on. I get "line up" from atc, I release the parking brake, advance throttles appropriately, but, in spite of the nose wheel and main gear wheels all turning, the aircraft does not move. This has only happened twice, out of 10 flights...and ground conditions are dry. The toe brakes are only used minimally. I can't think of any reason why wheels are not "gripping". Hi. I am using the de Havilland Canada DHC-6-300 Floats Pax version of the Twin Otter (the yellow & blue Trans Maldivian Airways livery). Using live weather for VRMM (Male International in the Maldives) today, I could not turn the Twin Otter, with full rudder deflection, for both directions. The live weather for VRMM had a little wind and the waves were a little choppy, but in my opinion, those types of waves are standard for a typical day in the Maldives. In real life, with those waves and winds that I had for live weather today, the Twin Otter on floats would be able to turn, no problem. However, I still could not turn the Twin Otter with full rudder in MSFS. …

So I've uninstalled ST and reinstalled and see no traffic with recommended settings at KSFO. When I swap from AI Online to AI Offline traffic begins to spawn at the gates. Is anyone else seeing this issue?

If you pile on the mods… AIG, Pilot2ATC, ship traffic, airport scenery, seasons, terrain scenery, Kodiak or FBW 320… do these all impact the CPU? RAM? Are they going to cause performance issues? What becomes the bottleneck here?

Hi, Since I don't like flying the fenix on my 27" monitor. Font size is too small, so I need to zoom it closely, but when I do that I am missing quite a bit of the world outside, which is annoying while approch/landing. What monitor size is best to getting rid of this issue? 32" or 34" and which ratio 21:9 or 16:9? I think 16:9 would solve the problem because it more streched in the heigh than leight, but would a 34" 21:9 would do the same job? What is the overall best experience?

Hey guys, I have been away from flight simming for some time now. Basically since MSFS was first released. Health, job, children, and life issues have kept me away unfortunately. Ready to dive back in. So a few questions. - My system is a 9700K over clocked to 5 ghz, 2080ti, and 32gb ram. Still good to go? Worth any upgrades? - Any mandatory add-on recommendations? - My favorite aircraft in P3d were PMDG 737, Leo Maddog, and any GA from A2A. Sorry not an Airbus fan. I noticed this sometime after I installed the latest stable version of the Heavy Division mod to the B78X. The dev doesn't seem to acknowledge it might be this latest stable version so just wondering how AI RC is working if you happen to use this feature. When I get done with this flight I will go back to an earlier version but at the moment in mid flight so thought I'd ask. Cheers

Hi, Have searched everywhere, but can't find an answer. Some aircraft files include a panel.cfg file, and others do not. Not sure why. In the panel.cfg file, it is possible to change the font COLOUR for registration details on the plane's exterior. Can anyone please tell me exactly what colours are available to be used? I've used a couple of basic colours, e.g. green, red, blue, but wanr to fine-tune the colours if possible. I tested a 'brown' colour, and the response was more pink than brown. Would appreciate any help. Thanks

Has anybody else having or had problems downloading Flysimware's 414? It's a 1.4 Gb file which my computer is telling me will take anything up to 20 hours to download! I contacted Flysimware and was informed (in capital letters) that my internet connection (40 Mbps) is to blame. Needless to say over the years I've downloaded literally 1000s of Gbs from sites like simMarket, ORBX, Just Flight etc. without any problems so I'm at a loss.

Randzzo had an update in the PMDG forum about the PMDG 737-600, PMDG 737-800, and the PMDG 737-700: Of course, the release dates may "slide" as Randazzo said above. So these are not firm release dates yet.

I have just updated my PMDG 737-700 via the PMDG Ops Centre, and now find that certain dials and handles in the cockpit are 'pinkish'. Everything is functioning OK, and to my knowledge, I have not changed any settings. Rebooted and restarted MSFS and still the same. Trying to avoid, redownloading the 737 from the PMDG website and reinstalling - so as not to lose my settings. Any thoughts as to how I can fix this issue. Hey folks, I have downloaded various liveries for AIG for different Airports such as Heathrow, Charles De Gaulle, Sydney, Melbourne etc and have injected them as the various tutorials have advised to do. I have tried mainly in Australian Airports being my homeland and there are many Liveries from Europe and the US which should not be at the Australian Airports. Folks is this a limitation of AIG and I just have to accept these random aircraft or am I doing something wrong and not constraining the correct aircraft and liveries to their correct airports etc. Any ideas how to fix this and have correct liveries at their respective airports etc ? I am one of many who got both happy AND frustrated at the same time when FS2020 was launched. I loved the initial visuals but the flight dynamics made me frustrated and I went back to X-plane after a few updates with no improvements (or even more bugs). I gave the FBW a go and it was better than the crappy built-in planes but still far behind X-plane. I've checked in a few times on the forum and pretty much the same discussions still exist today.
