Microsoft Flight Simulator (2020/2024)

Is anyone else getting this when trying to load an airway. I get these weird lines when I scroll through a long list.

Hjet v2 exterior lights (nighttime) . I noticed nav lights On makes strobe lights flash. Also, the Logo light started flashing rather than steady On in ? I have not yet checked all the Norm, Off, On combinations for all external lights.

I am having a discontinuity "issue" with the CJ4. I am unable to overwrite it with the waypoint below it or delete it. How am I supposed to handle these discontinuities? Here is my route... KDEN/08 BAYLR6 TEHRU DCT HERRM DCT ETL DCT KTEX/09 I definitely had a discontinuity before ETL. When it says DCT above does that mean I should change to fly direct to that waypoint? Because right now the AP gets lost as soon as it runs across the discontinuity. And when I did go direct to ETL after HERRM the ATC barked at me 100 times to change heading to go back to HERRM. I feel like there must be something obvious I am messing up. Thanks guys.

Somehow when I load a plane with the GTN 750 (Paid version), a small copy of the 750 shows up in left hand corner of my screen. I can’t seem to make this go away. Doesn’t matter which plane with the 750; they all seem to do this. Any ideas of how to fix this annoying problem?

I've tried six or seven times to load MSFS2020 and after the Blackshark.ai and the disclaimer it jumps back to the desktop. Deleted the last two addons of airports I created, which worked fine before, and same thing. Tried running as administrator. Same thing. I don't know what to do. Any suggestions? Roy

I'm going to repost this here because it's been up for weeks in the WIN OS10 forum and I didn't get a single reply and technically, it was working until a MSFS crash to restart. Here's the original post. I'm really at a loss of what to do. I had been flying all day and was going to cook dinner and be with the kid and wife for dinner, so I turned off my computer. Came back afterward and booted up machine as always. Everything is fine. I boot up MSFS and it completely crashes my system. This never happens. It seems to support WT GNS430W, PMS or TDS GTN 750xi I've been very satisfied especially with their latest PC12 and Mooney updates... Hello all, I need someone to tell me how to find and download airport scenery. I would love to get my hands on airports like DFW, Raleigh-Durham, Charlotte, and a few others. How do I fix it so that the airlines that fly into those airports are pretty accurate (i.e., the dominant carrier at DFW is American Airlines). Also, I would like to spruce up taxiway signs, taxiways, and runways in a way that looks more accurate. For example, I would love to see tire marks on runways. I'd also like to see more accurate taxiway signs and airport land markings. Any help on this would be appreciated. Thanks in advance!

I just pushed the Fenix A320 back using the Fenix EFB and it was PAINFULLY slow. Tug was attached, brakes off, chocks off etc. Any ideas?

I have the latest upgrade on the C414. The problem is that I can't actuate the mag switches. They won't turn on by either using the mouse wheel or by clicking on the switches themselves. The gang bar moves ok - just not the switches. Jim

Hi everyone, I'm considering buying a hotas for the game and don't want to spend a huge amount. Is the t16000m hotas a good starting point for the price? Additionally, I'd like to start learning either the PMDG or the Fenix 737, and only have an Xbox controller at the moment. Is there any point at all trying the sim with just a controller, and if so, would you recommended either of these planes? I have no preference of one over the other, I'd prefer the one with more depth! Also, I only have a 27" monitor. It seems most people here have larger - I don't have space to upgrade, can I get a good experience on that sized screen? Thank…

In P3Dv4, I had a prg. called Instant Scenery 3 which made it very easy to create scenery or place objects in existing scenery. On Flightsim.to there are several scenery objects libraries like ie. Emerald Object Library, but are there an easy way to build sceneries or add objects like with IS3? I think the tutorials I have seen on YouTube needs some kind of skill / knowledge of MSFS to being able to understand it. So are there an easier way to do it?

I went to the Marketplace tonight to look at images of the payware Chicago Meigs and I noticed that there is a payware version of KGSO, Greensboro Triad, North Carolina, there. It has no user ratings at this time. I have no idea how long it has been available. I am interested in hearing from any who may have purchased and installed this airport. Cessna has a major maintenance facility at KGSO and it is the also home of the HondaJet factory. I toiled for 25 years for that corporation! Ok MSFS version, all difficulties on. And it seems it is ONLY engine one that has an issue at all with realistic settings on. So i was using Skypark doing a Hop 5 mission. Landed at the airport, did a after landing check list, turned around lined up started the wet takeoff and immediately engine goes into a tissy and then eventually dies. Have i seriously got to goto cold and dark after EVERY landing in order for Engine one not to die on me?

I am not able to engage the Longitude Hold Mode. I have the Flight Directors engaged and have entered all of the pre-flight data, weights etc, set an appropriate altitude and entered v speeds. I have tried with the autothrottle on and off when advancing the throttle and I have tried with VNAV on and off as well but I never see Hold. As soon as I lift off I get red messages that say HOLD FAIL and AT HOLD FAIL. I am new to the Longitude but not to MSFS. Any help will be appreciated. Steve D.

Have installed the v3 of Gaist Global Ships. The installation instructions says to set ships in the MSFS traffic settings to 10%, so the default ships do not interfere with the added mod. What about Leisure boats, etc. Are there any of these in the added mod? If there are not, can I set my default for Leisure boats to say 50% Thanks

Was flying yesterday CYYZ-KORD (horrible weather at KORD) and caught icing at FL050 with speeds' data totally FUBAR. So, I crashed, despite WAI and EAI turned on. Question - is it something I did wrong OR icing should be unchecked in MSFS menu? TIA, Dmitriy.
