I've read a number of threads now and it appears with AI traffic, back to back flights (returning to the original departure airport after reaching a destination) are impossible, as this AI merging of traffic happens causing frame rates to plummet through the floor. For those that haven't eperienced it, this is what happens when you return to the original departure airport https://imgur.com/zzgWXlF FPS then drop through the floor and the sim becomes unflyable (incredibly frustrating after a 3 hour flight). I had not flown the Archers in a while, but just updated the Archer III and TurboArcher IV to the current level. What I found was that the GPS is fighting with the built in NAV/GPS switch in the panel. The CDI indication on the GPS flashes between VLOC and GPS, until the switch is flipped repeatedly. The problem comes back as soon as I try to switch the GPS CDI. I have tried this with the WT GNS530 and TDS 750Xi, same problem. Has anyone encountered this, and is there a fix/workaround?

The last two days, while nearing Sicily, on a flight to LICC (Catania I experienced a CTD on each flight some 40 NM North-East out of LICC. I used Beautiful Model of the World's scenery for Catania, and never had any problems with this scenery before. The latest NVidia drivers (528.49) were in use as well. Am I the only one who ran into this anomaly?

Could people share their experience of GSX and the effect it has on performance? I had it installed and thought I noticed a drop (but it could also be me looking for reasons for a drop in fps). I’ve set it to exclude all the extra clutter at airports.

Just fired up MSFS only to go straight to the Accessibility Settings menu. Finished that and it then downloaded all the airports I've removed. Then was faced with t he 5 intro screens to set all my settings. Get to the main menu and find all my controller profiles gone, and get prompted to re-install essential packages. From there I can't now get past the Insert Game Disk screen. This is the 1st time I have experienced this. In this case it happened during a flight with the Turbo Bonanza, though when I did a search for similar issues it appears to have happened with a number of aircraft including the defaults. One resolution had to do with multiple default key assignments for Thrustmaster TCA controller - has anyone else experienced this?

Reading the docs for the CJ4 it mentions going into page 2of IDX on the FMC and selecting Mod Set. No option exists on page 2. This is where you would go to enter your SimBrief Pilot ID. Anyone know how to accomplish this?

I have a question about exactly how the MS store works with MSFS. Right now, I'm having a new computer built by a company that specializes in flight sim hardware. This company will be using my Microsoft store account to download and install and fine-tune MSFS for my new machine. Here's my question: Should I go ahead and delete MSFS from my current, old computer? I'm guessing that some sort of piracy protection prevents people from installing TWO copies of MSFS from the same account to TWO different machines. How does this work?

Just picked up LVFR’s KFLL and to christen it’s first departure I decided to go somewhere I’ve never flown, Cuba. It’s been quite interesting and for more defined with Rivers and Roads, Flora and Fauna than I expected or even imagined. Just spotted there's a new release from Nemeth Designs on Sim Market - the - Partenavia P68B Victor. https://secure.simmarket.com/nemeth-designs-partenavia-p68b-victor-msfs.phtml Not a plane I'm familiar with but as a small, twin engine, high wing utility plane it's definitely my sort of thing - but while I think their little S.205 was better than I was expecting, their B407 was not good at all so I'm in two minds about it. Has anyone seen any reviews or even taken the plunge and picked it up themselves ?

Or do I need to do this with Navigraph. Just recently purchased Navigraph 8 and understand it is a fairly new interface. I have been flying GA planes to date and want to jump up to the Commercial jetliners. I find Navigraph 8 so darn frustrating how to learn.

Hi All, I have just started using live traffic within FSLTL (previously I just used it to populate gates) I have had a weird issue 2 days running now. I can fly my first leg and all is great, perform a turn around and head back to my original airport and as I am on short finals there appears to be multiple AI aircraft parked right across the runway around the halfway point. This causes my fps to drop right down below 15 from 60. Even trying to reset FSLTL then quitting the injector still doesn't remove the stuck aircraft and recover the fps. The only way is to restart the sim. I am curious if anyone else has seen this and could maybe provide an insight into fixi…

Hello, Last day or so began having issues with PMDG 737-800. The 2 issues I'm keep having is that the Autopilot dont work/engage and also that i keep getting failures when I have them turned off. Yes I have downloaded the last 2 updates. Has anyone have any issues similar to the ones I'm having? Thanx for any info on how to fix it. PS. Howdy fellow seat shiners 😉 I don't have the fastest chip on the block or graphics card. I7-10700K 16gigs of ram and a RTX 2070 Super. Well as we move forward on the sim and more gets added of course we can expect more resources to be taken from are machines etc. That being said I like the turbulence. I hope all you developer hot dogs are busy at this very moment designing your Chinese spy balloon add-ons for MSFS. In all seriousness, we need a good balloon as part of the sim -- a balloon that could drift around, blown randomly by Real World weather (when it's working), and take photos of the beautiful scenery at a leisurely pace. It's often difficult to take screen captures from a fast moving airplane.

I've just stumbled across Headwinds A330-900NEO. What's it like? What are peoples experiences of it like?

I have both the Airbus A310 - Enhanced & the Airbus A310 installed in the "Content Manager". For the iniBuilds A310 - Enhanced to work do they both have to be installed? The plane loads normally. The reason I ask is Simbrief is not loading the FP when I click on the Menu option in the MCDU. I have my Simbrief ID correctly entered as well. I just thought maybe having the 2 installations might be causing a conflict with Simbrief.

Since the much-celebrated release of AAU1 last week, I've mostly been flying the Longitude, with its new, ultra-realistic avionics package. There's a lot I need to learn, but the experience is a total joy. WT cannot be given enough praise. For the first time since AAU1's final release, however, I flew the PMDG 737-700, which has likewise been updated in recent weeks. Hi, I have bought the Aerosoft Twin Otter DHC6 for MSFS 2020. But I can't use the gps 530 properly : I have been trying to enter any procedure but can't access to one of them. Also to set a VS I have to use an addon (42 parallel flow pro). It's also impossible to set a flight plan using directly the GPS 530 in the DHC. I guess there is a bug in MSFS with GPS 530 Everything works well with a GPS 430 in another aircraft... trying to use the cursor I can read N/A If somebody can help me please. regards, Jack

Updated the electrical system as we had a circuit drawing 20 amps when the battery circuit was on. This prevented to see a visual windshield draw test during the pre flight check since the Voltammeter can only show a max draw of 25 amps. 2. The new AE was causing alterations to some of the electrical system and so when shutting down the left engine both alternators failed. This is now fixed and was reported to Asobo. 3.
