I have been an Orbx customer for a few years and have accrued 700 Orbs, I have been keeping an eye on the Orb store as they say titles are changed on a regular basis Here's a breakdown of what's currently available: FSX (50) Prepar3D (50) Prepar3D v4 (08) Prepar3D v4+ (02) X-Plane 11 (15) Aerofly FS 2 (07) MSFS (01) It is very disappointing to see there are no major airports for MSFS (only one GA airfield) compared to a much wider selection for other simulators. I now have a HUD in the 737-600. I had one years ago in the Majestic Q400, and in the 737 . I used it a couple of times, and preferred to just fly looking out the cockpit window. Wondering how many use the HUD, if your aircraft has one?

Accidentally found out that Pacific Island Simulations (islandsim.com) is currently developing a new KSLC! Their Facebook page show's some pretty promising screenshots, looks like they are adding the east side A and B concourses (even though they won't be done until end of this year/2024).

Hello to everyone, After many years of FS9, FSX, P3D, I recently switched to MSFS. Everything has been very different for me and I am trying to get used to it. And I'm having problems that I can't solve in logic. But when I want to select a gate at the airport in MSFS I see very different gates than LTFJ.bgl. And I don't know how to solve this problem. Guimbal Cabri G2 I have no problem flying around, sigh seeing, hovering, and landing in semi-controlled state with assist ON or OFF. However, occasionally, after I land I cannot get the G2 to take off. In an external view I can see the cyclic action move the blades in lateral and longitudinal and the collective/cyclic/pedals in the cockpit all move and the gauges show the appropriate numbers. But no takeoff and no motion in any direction. In the external view the camera moves up-down-left-right as if it were following the G2 based on control inputs. But, the G2 stays frozen on the ground. This happens in about 1 out of five flights. Any ideas? …

Actually I'm sure it's dumb but perhaps you'll bear with me. Is it possible to run my 1440p monitor for the Sim and all the main stuff, but have a smaller 1080p monitor I can use for checklists, Navigraph, etc? Thanks!

I have lost the green climb & descent green arc from the MFD. It was there prior to AAU1 but has gone now. I have searched the G5000 menus & can't find it again. If I remember rightly, it was somewhat hidden away before but I can't find it now. Any help?? Kev

Hey guys, I was wondering if anyone else has this graphical anomaly that usually occurs heavily when it's overcast at an airport but isn't exclusive to that situation - 1. When stationary in the cockpit and looking at planes taking off you see a trail that leads off the whole plane, almost like air vortices you would see from wing tips in real life but this time coming off the whole plane but clearly a graphics issue. 2. You also see this anomaly when taxiing - any light poles in the area have the same effect coming from it as you're moving along, perpendicular to the object/pole in view, as if there's graphic particles moving horizontally away from it. …

Questions re installing msfs2020 on new pc. My son has just built me a brand new pc as a birthday present. Lucky me. I have a puchased BOX edition of msfs premium edition on my present pc. I want to download a digital edition of this onto my new pc and thus avoid the neccessity of having to have a disc inserted in a DVD drive in order to activate the simulator. I have logged into my microsoft store account but its not showing my previous purchase of msfs. If I download the premium edition from the store will I be able to activate it with the key code that came with my boxed edition? I originally purchases this from aerosoft. Much appreciate any advise.

The FBW 320 (developer version) is the ONLY plane I fly that gives me a severe stutter, almost a mini pause, every 20 to 25 seconds. No matter where I am flying and what the settings are. I have an official G-Sync monitor (1440p) and all flights in all other planes are 100% smooth all the way. (Yes, I am extremely happy with my new PC and the G-Sync monitor!!!) This severe stutter in the FWB is quite immersion killing (to me anyway). Since I only have this with this plane I wonder what might be causing this... Maybe there is a FBW=specific setting I could change to get rid of it? It can't be MSFS itself since all my other flights are perfect. I also can't imagine it's bec…

Hey There, Been a while, a bunch of moves and an aging PC kept me away for a second. Now I'm getting a new rig and I'm ready to dive back in. Here's what I've settled on and I'm about to make the plunge: 13700k 4070ti 32g Ram DDR5/6000 MB: ASRock Z790 Steel Legend 2TB WD BLACK SN850X I guess my biggest question is the 4070ti. I know the 4080 has more VRam, but it puts me significantly over the budget I set for myself. Am I going to regret it? My plan was to enjoy it for a year or so and wait for price drops on the 4090. Somehow when installing the Flysimware 141AW, it defaulted to my GTN750. Sometimes I want to switch back to the default GTN530. Anyone know how to do this.

Hello All, As a relative newcomer to MSFS2020, I hope this is not a stupid question. I installed MSFS2020 on a different drive to Windows 10 and as a result I think I have inadvertently created two package folders with add on installations in both. I have one at C:\Users\Stephen\AppData\Local\Packages and one at F:\MSFS2020Packages\Community. Is this a problem? Regards, Stephen Shallcross.

Not sure if it's just me but the pushback tug on GA ramps is no longer visible in the sim. Is there a setting I'm missing?

Hi all As of late, after creating a flight plan with simbrief, then after using the simbrief down loader, I have opened that flight plan in Navigraph charts. However on a few occasions now, I have a discrepancy in the allocated runways for the flight. Navigraph disagrees with Simbriefs selection by showing the selected runway as a green and orange, rather than a double green. I read the weather before the flight planning phase. and sometimes simbrief still allocates an incorrect departure runway. I think Navigraph is generally correct. Why does Simbrief do this? The last question is in regards to the gate number data bases at airports…

I've seen quite a few users mention running FSLTL without the injector. How does one set this up and what are the benefits? My Model T system runs FSLTL "okay" but any performance boost is always welcomed. Thanks! Brian

If I buy a plane directly from a developer, or from a store other than the MarketPlace, that aircraft folder goes in the MSFS Community folder. If I then download a mod of some type for that aircraft, it also goes in the Community folder. So how does MSFS decide that the code in the mod should take precedence over the related original aircraft code? I thought maybe it is based on the relative dates in the associated layout.json files, but due to updates of the aircraft, the date of the mod could be older than the updated aircraft date, couldn't it? This will be the first 'window of opportunity' today. It may not make it of course if there are a few things that Asobo are still not happy with. Myself, I can't wait to try the new turbulence intensity setting, along with a lot of potential helicopter tweaks. I will be excited to see the full release notes. They sometimes sneak other fixes / tweaks in where they can of course. I actually prefer these to the World Updates, although I am very much looking forward to the New Zealand one. Anyone else looking to sign up?
