Can somebody tell me they have notice improvements?

I couldn't find, for the life of me, how to select the GPS vs NAV to direct the CDI. In the Cabri, there is no switch that I saw. I believe they forgot to model one. Today, flying in the boondocks, I got a little aggravated and did the obvious, looking for any command not linked to anything in the cockpit. Lo and behold, there is a "Toggle GPS drives Nav1" function ! If you connect it to one of your hardware button, just use 'on release'. I suppose you can also use a keyboard key. I hope it can help others!

Last week, I finally replaced my old computer. Ever since, I've been experimenting to determine the best MSFS graphics settings when using a 4K TV for display with a 4000 series card. Before giving you my settings, however, let me clarify that I'm talking about a typical 60Hz 4K TV (as sold over the past decade for normal TV viewing). In contrast, many of the newer, high-end TVs now have variable refresh rates with G-Sync and FreeSync and, as such, are essentially dedicated computer monitors as well as televisions. Is it possible to spawn at a helipad with my engine cold and dark? Actually, I know it's possible because I have done so at at-least one pad in the SWS Okavango Delta package. However, every other helipad I have spawned at my engine is running. Is there a way to prevent this? How did the folks at SWS achieve this yet even the Asobo releases seem unable to do so? Am I missing something? Thanks in advance.

I found this really interesting and it helps explain why I always seem to come in high / have a much harder time landing smoothly than I did in P3D.

Lately I have been seeing stuttering, particularly when flying into complex airports with the Fenix. This happens when the airport comes into view and has been happening when looking towards the airport. I know I need to play around with settings, but i thought of a question. When setting up my flight, I have always picked the departure airport and gate and then hit "Fly Now", never picking an arrival airport. Could it be possible that since I didn't pick the arrival in the menu, it is loading too late in the flight and causing stutters? The overall brightness of the flightdeck appears low i e somewhat dark. Also the displays are not bright enough with full bright settings of the knobs. Any help please? Haseen Ahmad.

Hi, I have been struggling to change cockpit display FPS's via CDU (PMDG 737 Options Performance). I tried on all 737 line up but no success. Is there something I'am missing ? I lowered the values to see the impact on my performance but other than ISFD FPS no displays' fps changes so do performance gain. It simply doesn't take any affect except on ISFD. Any ideas or suggestions ? Kind regards.

After long time flying the TBM I did a flight in the analog C172 and I noticed the Terrain map is black ( no colors shown) I'm in the beta with all updates done. Any idea? Regards

Has anyone tried out this mod for the 787? There doesn't seem to be any descriptive explanation about what it actually does and I'm not keen on an installer. Needs to be used with the Heavy Division mod.

I have been complaining about this for over a year. I always approach below the Glideslope now, ignore the PAPI, and get a good landing.

The AAU1 upgrade to the Longitude, the CJ4, the TBM 930 are great, and so is their incorporation into the VLBJs like the Honda and the Vision Jet. However, I'm wondering who the first developer is who is going to deliver the first long range business jet that is study level, with no gap between aesthetics and avionics, that is to say, beautiful texturing inside and out as well as a fully modeled avionics suite. For example, the Dassault Falcon 6X. My sense is, I'll be waiting a very long time...........

Firstly, I hope the Canadians get the improvements they need to their update, but I think MS / Asobo will try really hard on the New Zealand update now, as they don't want a repeat of what happened. Certainly judging by the amount of content they are providing (which surprised me), if the quality is good, it could be the best world update up to now. The size of New Zealand makes it easier to get around; probably possible to see every corner of it over time, and with such beautiful and varied scenery, I think it will be an absolute joy to fly around. Hi all, I've recently built a frankestein low-end PC for my 2nd residence with some PC pieces I had from my old PCs. It's not the best PC, but at least it runs MSFS. I can fly GA airplanes at ~35 fps but on airliners (such as Fenix A320, FBW A32NX or PMDG 737) I only get 15-20fps. Do you guys know some MSFS settings configuration I can tweak to gain a few FPS (at least 25, to be flyable)? PC Specs: Intel i7-4770 @ 3.40GHz GTX 1050Ti 4GB 8GB RAM DDR3 1333MHz 500GB SSD

What are best results with a i7/12 and 3060 Ti lately? Anyone have experience or know max settings achieved? Worth a short or in need of newer card for max settings 1440? Thanks!

Set up a big circuit to practice landings after I almost botched my first one in it last night and just assumed I was tired etc. Coming down the ILS, about 500 AGL I disconnect the autopilot, about 50 feet off the runway I pull back slightly to flare and the thing just start climbing away. Like I have to force the nose down to get it on the ground. I took a quick look at the trim to see if the AP was still trying to do something but it wasn't moving so I'm not sure what is going on here? I want to say I was coming in about 160kts flaps 25. Hi I am delighted with Little Nav Map / Simbrief and the integration of downloaded Simbrief flight plans and performance init data into MSFS and some directly into aircraft FMC's, such as the PMDG 737. But there is a but... If I am flying from one UK airport to another UK airport, there seems to be a very high proportion of STARs that Simbrief chooses (and which look logical when checked on Little Nav Map) that seem to be not available in MSFS. Is it a setting I've missed somewhere in Simbrief or MSFS that is creating that incompatibility and allowing STARs to be chosen in Simbrief that MSFS rejects as valid? Or are there just an awful lot of UK airpo…

Now that I had to do a reinstall, I am in the process of reinstalling the World Updates, all of which are pretty big. My question is, that I now have all this stored on my computer, what am I streaming from Asobo?

If you use the latest iterations of both, which do you prefer and why, if you will? Never have used the CJ4, used the Citation L very early on alot and stopped over a year ago after getting into APLv2 and currently am proficient in PMDG B738, FBW A320NX and AS CRJ700, but I'm using nothing for very light loads. The discussion about New Zealand update has me looking for a few smaller planes to add licenses for in APL. Cheers

If you own the Seminole, wait a second before installing the update.. Maybe there is something really nice in there for you, but for me this is a step back, not forward. The GTNXi integration is still not working, no GS indicator on the HSI for LPV landings, and what I find particularly annoying, the VS knob is now animated backwards.. So, if you have not installed the update, think twice before selecting "Install".. I wish I could go back 😉
