Microsoft Flight Simulator (2020/2024)

I was looking at Flightsim.to so I could update this great mod. On one day it showed unavailable for download. Now I am seeing nothing to indicate it even existed. Did I miss any news about a removal or take down?

Hi all. When I start Real Traffic it tells me that my airac is out of date. I am used to seeing that. So I open the Navigraph Navdata app and install the update to MSFS. But when I reopen Real Traffic it gives me the same message. It seems that in the past when I would open the Navigraph Navdata app it would see both MSFS and Real Traffic and would ask me to update both. Now it only shows MSFS. Can anyone shed some light on why I am not seeing the other update in the app and how to update the cycle for Real Traffic? I am not connected to their Discord channel so I didn't know how to find in Discord. UPDATE: I was opening the wrong app, sorry about that…

can someone explain these items in CFG msfs ? - DLSSG DLSSGVR both are disabed by default to 0 what it brings when switch it to 1 ? I m not in beta, dont know if it comes from WU 12 or su 11? brds

I am always dubitative when I see fellow simmers recommending or doing a reinstall of the sim or, Heavens forbid, of Windows to cure a mysterious MSFS problem. I don't say they are wrong but don't remember having ever had to do either of them in all these years I've been simming with Asobo's baby or any of its predecessors. I would be cautious before following this trail, specially these days with the huge downloads it carries.

Can someone confirm that SU12 beta simmers can see and be seen by non-beta multiplayer simers?

I don't know why I was unaware of Sanit Barts. I didn't know about Toncontin either. Like everyone, I knew Kai Tak and Lukla (Tenzig-Hillary). And Corcheval because it was in the WU France.

G'day, just a quick question - is there any binding key for opening & closing the canopy? Would make after T/O & in the circuit a lot easier than having to use the mouse for it if it was mapped either in the stick or throttle. thx in advance for any help

Asking because I couldn't find the exact answer in the forums or in their docs. I bought the Orbx LA Helipads bundle this weekend and hoped that despite them not having RW identifiers, they might still show up. They do in the MS default flight planner but once you're airborne, I don't see any icons for them in FSTramp or the MS default VFR map. You can certainly build a flight plan in the default planner and navigate to them that way, at least it's an option. But I was hoping not to have to do that for every single flight. Does Little NavMap show this type of scenery add-on? I'd imagine heliports are there but this bundle is all hospital and police helipads.

Is there a way to turn off "Don't Sink". It's very annoying. I've had it when I'm coming down for a landing and also while flying GA aircraft over 125 kph.

Today when i was approaching egjj airport, after ap off at 1000 feet agl, a/c suddenly diving nose and then screen turned black(coz of excessive g force) than hit the ground. this is my first issue with the fenix. note; don't use any pushback tool. any idea?

I am still having issues with the Fenix app not connecting to the sim. What specifically can I check on my PC that could be prohibiting it to do so? I have the following issues in no particular order. The only thing I did differently since the last time the sim worked was added Simbox. I removed the Simbox plugin and am still having issues. I also have a ticket open but they haven't responded. 1) Plane loads but everything is dark with an exception of the EFB - that has the red triangle that says unable to connect to sim - no sound 2) some screens are illuminated but the EFB just has the Fenix logo - no sounds (both situations above in the Fenix app, the re…

What is a reasonable number for the Rolling Cache Limit?

Hello all, Within the past two weeks, whenever I go to the Content Manager it just sits there and gives me the "whirling halo of indecision chasing its own tail." Also, when I try to quit and go back to desktop in the usual manner, MSFS will "hang" and I have to quit out via Task Manager. Any ideas? Thanks in advance, Frank

I have a button set to switch back and forth between cockpit view and external view. In the past this always worked fine. Now, when I use that button, it switches between a bunch of different views. I know I saw a thread about this a while back but I can't seem to find it. I know it was a setting in the options but I can't remember which one. Can someone remind me how to put it back the way it used to operate? Thanks

Hello, how do I delete the FROM/TO field in the MCDU so that I can get the Request Init option after a route has been entered already. I want to delete the route in LSK1 L on Init A page so I can use Simbrief on a turnaround.

LShift-r disables auto-throttle. But that's only temporary. How do I disable auto-throttle for the entire flight from take-off to landing?

Hi, recently watched a new video from 737NG Driver as to how and when to deploy flaps in both the 737 and A320 prior to landing - a great video. One of his recommendations is to draw rings around the arrival runway threshold at distances of 5 miles and 10 miles. I have no problem achieving this with the PMDG 737 but cannot fathom out how to do it in the Fenix A320. This is what happened to me just now. I loaded a flightplan from Simbrief into the Fenix A320 (EGKK - EGPH). Wanted to try the 'fix' around both departure and arrival runway thresholds i.e. draw rings at both 5 & 10 miles at both airports. Selected EGKK and the option of Fix Info came om the MCDU …

Over the last 2 weeks or so, I've been noticing some crazy wind shifts. Last night for example, It went from a 100+ knot headwind to a 50 knot tailwind and then back to 100 knot headwind again within around 30 seconds. I've also noticed it during approaches too with 20 to 30 knot sudden shifts not uncommon. I've been using MSFS full time for just over a year and for me, the last 2 weeks has been the worst when using live weather. Anyone else been noticing the same thing?

Greetings, FS 2020 has been completely INOP and on CTD on startup status since FEB 1. Twenty four days later, countless hours have been spent with experts from MS Zendesk, Xbox and Windows Support as well a PC expert who built my custom PC who have all been unable to solve my issue of CTD on start-up caused by the inability to authenticate MS/Xbox account credentials. MSFS has been re-installed four times and a complete Win10 re-install has also been accomplished. All efforts have failed. My latest zany idea (and perhaps the final idea) is to completely un-install and re-purchase, perhaps as a new persona. The original purchase was through the MS Store which …

Youtube recently recommended me this video in which one can learn a few fine little details about the DA40NG. The one thing that surprised me the most was the stall charcateristics with wings designed in a way that even in a full stall she will not go into a spin but stay wings level. First I thought: "How is that even possible?" Then I thought: "Is this correctly modelled in MSFS"? So I took her for a little test. And it is . If you cut back all power and hold her level you will eventually stall, but in this aircraft that only means that with full deflection of the stick backwards you'll start to lose altitude. I have a double monitor setup, a use the second monitor for viewing charts etc. Howvever, when I take screenshots with Alt+F1 in msfs, it creates a screenshot from my second monitor too, so I would have to crop it afterwards. How can I take screenshots only from MSFS and ignore the second monitor?
