Microsoft Flight Simulator (2020/2024)

After the latest C414AW update, my TDS GTN750XI screens do not fire up in the aircraft when I choose & load a C414AW livery that uses the GTN750XI. Anyone else experiencing this? T45

I have the 600 now and love it. Thinking about adding to the fleet, which would you get next if you just had the 600?

The WT CJ4 was one of my favorites, and the improvements that are now part of the default aircraft are excellent. I'm relearning the aircraft now and discovering new capabilities with the FMS. Weather throughout the Midwestern US was certainly challenging yesterday, and it allowed me to push the NAV system and performance quite a bit. Flying into Cedar Rapids, Iowa (KCID) from the eastern US, I was forced to make a change of runways and approaches, changing from the ILS Rwy 09 to the RNAV Rwy 31. The FMS handled the change very well, but as I was now way too high for the IAF I needed to adapt. I found the Hold menu and easily set up a hold at the transition point…

I am looking for the universal EFB kind of app. Of course for major Airliners, apart of PMDG we have EFB. However each native EFB has its pros and cons. Some of them have Navigraph integration, Simbrief OFP, checklists, etc . - some of them has not. My question is - is there any “universal” EFB app I can use for all airliners? The best example of this kind of app (however only for X-Plane) is AviTab - is there something similar for MSFS?

So never really faced this issue in other planes, before this one, but... I'm having great difficulty when kicking out the HJet's rudder just before touchdown so that you are pointing straight down the runway on windy landings. The reason for my trouble in performing this is the view angle out the front window, I just can't seem to perceive what is perfectly straight and what is not. I kick her out and think I've got it pointing straight only to realize after touching down that I wasn't so straight afterall. I've tried moving my view a little left or right but that didn't seem to help me much...I've even tried using an object in the cockpit as a reference point …

Hey there, getting my new PC tomorrow and I've been seeing a lot of things about what to turn on in the Bios, NVidia CP, and whatnot. I understand there's not a lot of tweaking to be done, but I'm also seeing a lot of folks coming in after upgrading who go through terrible trials and errors getting things right. As mine will be a completely fresh build with nothing installed, I'd sure like to skip all that. If anyone has a little extra time, might I ask you to point me to a good link or get some bullet points for how to get things up and whatnot? Wondering if anyone has a similar issue. With any PMDG 737, I seem to have issue with the parking brake. I know they updated the logic to reflect the actual aircraft (depress pedal brakes and then release parking brake lever). However once I push back from the gate, or try to disengage the parking brake again. My brakes do not depress, and I cannot disengage the parking brake. I've tried keyboard commands, joystick commands you name it. I have no luck. Randomly the brake will finally allow me disengage. I have ZERO failures and turned off maint' intervals in the PMDG FMC. Any ideas? I don't use rudder pedals. *This is specific to MSFS2020*

I am on the experimental version. I feel like there is something obvious I am missing. When I press the auto brake button, it doesn't light up. I also have Axis and Ohs running with the stream deck plugins, and the auto brake indicator isn't lighting up there either. I have tried it without A&O running and the same problem.

I've created a flight plan from KTPL to KADS. The flight plan is KTPL,Brian, Knead then KADS. The arrival is from Scops to Bondo. The RNAV approach is from Bondo to Jerit to KADS runway 15. When should I activate the approach in the aircraft, I'm guessing right before Bondo as it is the inital approach fix. Thanks guys for any help!

Looks like Feelthere Nashville (KBNA) was released on 17 Feb. So far I haven’t seen any mention on how it is. Checking to see if anyone here purchased KBNA and if it’s worth it. I try to stay away from Feelthere products when I can.

How can I increase the sim rate in Fenix Sim A320 to at least x4? I can just increase to x2 by MCDU MAINT page which is not enough for me. If sim rate increase not possible, can I reach my top of descent or initial approach point quicker? Please help. Haseen Ahmad.

Hello For the past few weeks, my simulator has had significant lags, regardless of the configuration chosen. This mostly happens at a few airports. The game stutters. I tried everything (direct X12, 11 then balanced DLSS, performance, DLAA, etc...). My MSFS settings are lower than what my nvidia recommends. I7 10750 512 SSDs 16 GB RAM RTX 3060 (laptop) Internet: 80 mbits/s but... latency = 60ms (maybe an explanation?) Thx

Anyone else have a problem with Just Flight's Traffic app? I bought it and installed it a little while ago and when I tried to run the Control Centre nothing happened. So I tried again, nothing. I decided to try the sim so I used the drop-down menu to bring up the box to start traffic, told it my destination and nothing. I quit the sim and was curious so I went to the Event Manager and saw three instances of the same Application Error, FS Traffic caused all three errors. I had to submit a ticket to Just Flight and got an automated email telling me they won't even look at it until Monday through Friday 9-5. Thanks. Jack.

Getting back into the Sim and this was a thing when I had to take a break a year or so ago. I remember it caused stutters and possible crashes. Hopefully that was taken care of?

No big ones or I would have shouted harder about them in the beta period. A mod will come at some point I hope. The doors can't be opened in VR. During climb diff. pressure exceeds its limit and triggers a warning (can be overcome by clicking DUMP twice in quick succession). No registration on the external model of the base TBM and all custom livery's that fallback on it.

How to i change from Inches to Qnh in ie. the c172? Cant find anything on the garmin... Cant find anythign in the game settings either.

Can someone who has this scenery let me know if when installing it, does that program coualt also get installed? I know it installs with GSX but was wondering if I don't have GSX, will it install with their scenery alone? I despise that program and will not buy their scenery if it does.

For the past few weeks (maybe since the last MSFS update, EVERYTIME I start MSFS I get a reminder that Windows Defender Firewall has blocked some features of flightsimulator.exe. Private networks such as my home is always ticked (selected) and so I click on 'allow access' This used to happen occasionally in the past but now it happens EVERYTIME I start MSFS. I have checked Windows Firewall for somewhere to 'tell' it that MSFS is 'ok' ie trusted but cannot find how to. Any ideas?

Morning all. Despite following online recommendations to fix pixelated clouds i still have this issue no matter what i do. Hopefully someone has an idea. Even if I have the windshield ant-ice on well before entering favorable icing conditions, the windshield will ice over. All the other anti-ice systems seem to work. No visible ice, or performance loss. I've tried auto and manual use of the windshield anti-ice system, and despite the enunciator showing it working, the windshield gathers and retains ice. Does this feature work on this aircraft?

Maybe I'm doing something wrong, but no one seems to be talking about this issue and I can't figure out why. First of all, I am an A320 captain for a big airline here in the US, and I bought the Fenix A320 add-on to ensure I had the depth and accuracy to be able to "lab" different scenarios, malfunctions, etc, on the MSFS2020. So far, the Fenix sim is amazing. It is nearly perfect in every way (except my company has the overhead switches upside down, where down is ON and up is OFF, to match the Boeings in our fleet).
