Hey guys. I use the vanilla Asobo ATC (I know there are better alternatives), and I remember I used to have a co pilot who would answer the radio calls for me so that I didn't have to babysit the radio during cruise. In fact, the co-pilot could even fly the airplane if I wanted! I noticed today that the co-pilot tab is no longer in the sim. Does anyone know what happened? I'm wondering if maybe I accidentally installed a mod that got rid of it or something. Thanks.

I tried starting MSFS and for the 1st time got the "Insert Disc 1" error. I saw someone got around the issue by starting from the xBox app so was going to try that but I cannot got logged in to it for some reason. Same with xBox insiders app and the M$ Store app. My xBox Series X works fine as does the xBox page via a web browser. Any ideas?

I'd like to practice take-offs and landings on a small airport that does not have a tower. How high and how far should I be from the airport on the downwind leg, and how far away should I be when I turn to the base leg and final approach? Thanks.

PMDG users are having some problems with the latest MSFS Beta. In addition, the PMDG ops center server is down this morning, and they are working on it.

I am looking for planes with fully interactive checklists (ones that have ability to show you where the control is). I just tried the CRJ and unfortunately I am not seeing anything except a static list in the EFB. I really like the interactive checklists because it helps me get familiar with where things are much faster. It is a great training aid. Which planes (preferably jets) provide interactive checklists? Thanks!

Hi, I ask for advice from the most experienced. I have updated with the new Nvidia drivers and using the new DLSS setting, both with DX11 and DX12, I always have the navigation display blurry. Tested with both the PMDG and the Fenix. Do I have to set some other parameters to remove the blur? I use an RTX Super 2070 Rog Strix. Thanks.

As of today when starting MSFS, I get an error saying 0x87E10BC6 then the sim crashes. Any idea what that can be from? I was able to get into MSFS twice earlier but my Fenix wasn't loading as well. But lately when starting, I get this error. Any ideas? Thanks so much!

I wanted to know if it is possible to opt out of the MSFS beta AFTER I’ve already installed the latest SU12 beta? I opt into the beta program for AAU1 and forgot to opt out. I normally fly the PMDG 737 and it’s having problems and I want to get out but I’m not sure what to expect, I already accidentally updated to SU12. I know technically I can opt out at any time but I don’t want to have reinstall everything and wanted to check in with guys first to see if any one has first hand experience trying this. thanks

I can't fully explain why, but I prefer the DC-4 / C-54 over the DC-6, (even though there is a good PMDG one out there, which I don't own). I just think I have a soft spot for the 4. I am just wondering if anyone has purchased any Flight Replicas aircraft in the past (they were around in FSX apparently), and were they any good? Here we go again! Issue: Starting MSFS opens MS Store which prompts to install Gaming Services on my devices. Trying that solves nothing Solutions attempted: That update is "Incompatible" with my Windows installation. It was not even available in Windows Settings - I had to search for it online. Note that the end of that last article above mentions lost taskbar icons. I lost mine last night. Whether there's a connection, I've no idea but it seems a big coincidence. I did try a (failed) System Restore and reverted to the current settings. Ended up manually adding my icons back. Didn't work Didn't work. Guess what? Didn't work! …

Having trouble manually landing the fenix 320 (latest fenix build, SU10).. Although FENIX team has acknowledged that the flight model needs tweaking (earlier builds were easier to fly but latest build is more accurate on the numbers, but lost some of the ease of flying), I still wanna get people's opinions here at AVSIM on the latest flight model.. here's my bug report/chat transcript from the discord: Did my 1st flight on Fenix today. Everything went great except the manual landing.. Flight model was too sluggish and had lots of inertia compared to fbw a32nx and pmdg 737. Will have to tweak control curves and do a pattern to test it again tonight. But how do others …

As per topic, when setting up my approach performance in the FMS I can't get my barometer to go below 1000 HPA, comes back with 'invalid entry' The destination altimeter based on the current weather is 993HPA. I can set it to that number on the PFD though, not sure if there is a reason for this or this is a current bug or am I doing something wrong/understanding incorrectly. Thx

"Your bandwidth is too low for data streaming, you have been switched to offline mode" Lately I am receiving this message very often. Obviously this is because of problems on the server side. I have a very stable fiber optic connection without any hickups and have (almost) never received this messege before. But why o why must the simulator pause when you get this warning. It's very annoying coming upstairs seeing my simulator to have paused for the last hour or so. Regards, Robin

When this feature is on the gauge resolution is terrible. Completely blurry and ghosting. Is that a normal function of the super resolution feature?
