For the last week or so the sim has been taking forever to load to the menu screen. Outside of having a lot of things in the community folder, is there anything that can be done to make it faster? It takes roughly 10+ mins now and I can't figure out why

Just landed at DFW and from about 300 feet down, MSFS turned into a slide show. 2 seconds in between frames. Same thing happened yesterday going into Phoenix Intl. Makes it really difficult to judge the flare when that happens. Got to be a server issue. .

Yesterday I bought the Caravan 208B Steam Gauge conversion. I downloaded it and my initial impression was a five star review. They did a beautiful job and made the plane much better. BUT, and this is a big “BUT” for me. They included only three rudimentary deliveries. Their procedure is so long, convoluted and confusing to get the original liveries to work in the Steam gauge version. I think this probably applies to the liveries on Flightsim.to as well? So BE WARNED before buying the STEAM GAUGE conversions. I am very disappointed that they didn’t put any warnings before buying. Please someone correct me if I am wrong about this. For me I had the immediate CTDs. Took out all my Carenado and just flight planes. Got up and running and now after reinstall my PC12 has black and white screens for instruments. Anyone else and any other SU 12 war stories and better yet fixes? -B

I'm not am online guru but have a few questions regarding MSFS: First why is the online synch process so problematic? I know of several scenarious for this that cause restarting the sim or even the OS. With that the synching process may or may not succeed but may require a MSFS restart to succeed. Second the requesting updates page can require over 15 minutes to go though. Why? A biggie for me is why a flight can take so long to load yet my download speed exceeds 30 mbs. I'm not complaining so much but just looking for solutions. sp

Often MSFS tags quite a few screens with the marking "New". I always wondered what's so "New" then because as example, i have quite a few "New" marks on let's say Landing Challenges, even on those who i already have done and aren't exactly "New" then. At least i don't find/see anything "New" in there. So what's so "New" in there? Same goes for the World Map. It has the "New" mark on it on the top right but once i'm in the map the select a flight, the "New" vanishes into thin air? Bugs me a little bit...

Anyone notice a change to Navigraph VFR maps? You can't seem to filter navaids anymore. I had the VFR map setup to only show VORs, airports and cities and it was nicely decluttered. Now it seems you can either have all navaids or none. Map is cluttered. Maybe I'm missing something on how to do it.

How do you install RexGAT to a folder that is not default. If I select steam but not default it will not let me browse to the install directory. I have it on a different drive than C:? The file exploerer only shows desktop and cant pick the H:\ drive.

Since 2 days my content manager and Market Place for an unknown reason no longer are functional. Clicking in the right top corner on the screen on my I.D. shows greyed out values "offline" and "automatic".??? SIgning out and in again doesn't solve this issue. Renaming the "Community" directory and starting up again doesn't solve eather. IN the Content Manager screen "Not installed" and "Update available " are also greyed out and show the value 0. Therefore I cannot install WU12 or anything from the MArket PLace. Any suggestions, solutions and help are very wellcome.

I am hoping to purchase one of these two for my shorter hop flights. I have read some reviews but it seems to be a real mixed bag. So I thought I would reach out to you folks that have both and can give me your recommendations. Virtualcol FS - EMB 170/175 Series or Aerosoft Aircraft CRJ Bundle. Thoughts?

I must admit to being confused which of these to go for. My main use would be to configure my StreamDeck to operate my aircraft. I have the Honeycomb Yoke & Throttle so I am intrigued with finer control over the axis and buttons. Can they be used at the same time, on the same aircraft, or should I just get one of them? I am a complete beginner with this so advice is welcomed. I've had the StreamDeck for a couple of months but not put any time into it so far. I saw a post about it and just purchased one so now I need to use it!

Hola All, I purchased the Piaggio FW 149 (this one http://atsimulations.com/focke-wulf-149-msfs ) upon release and enjoyed the bird enormously. Following a couple of sim updates my P149 eventually started to get slightly buggy and I decided to give it a rest. Is anyone here at AVSIM flying it? Has the aircraft been updated? I would love to jump back in again but would rather know first if it is worth it. ATSimulations website is lacking the relevant info... I don't do FB while the Dev is not active on Discord 😕 Hopefully someone here knows a bit more. Cheers, 2Slow2Low

Any recommendations beside obvious FT Sydney? It looks like YBBN is a remake of old FSX/P3D airport + a new runway. But what else? Looks like the entire region is limited to 2 large airports. Not even YMML. Thanks

Just started up FSLTL programme, went to injector to add aircraft and all I get is "RELEASE UNKOWN" and "ERROR". Please see below... https://imgur.com/Jdo0ISd

Ever since yesterday (after a windows update), I am not able to get the Fenix loaded correctly. I've tried a few different liveries and airports but each time, the displays are blank and the EFB says unable to connect. Can someone point me in the right direction to fix this? I thought it had to do with firewall settings or something but everything i've tried so far doesn't work. Thanks!

Anyone else noticing LNAV getting degraded ? it simply cant complete turns with one smooth turn at a gentle turn rate. Currently even at cruise its making even a relatively small turn in 2 turns of 30 degrees bank. It starting turn nicely and all of a sudden it banking to 30 degrees to catch the route. For some reason LNAV was always the weak spot of PMDG. Other than that its a great plane !

This was weird. Never happened before today. I landed, selected thrust reversers, and the plane immediately, literally popped a wheelie and stopped from around 110kts in probably about 50 feet. I'd think it was some stupidity about the world-tearing that's causing us to crash while on the ground, but I loaded at a different airport, hit the reversers while stopped and holding the toe brakes, and it popped another wheelie and started spinning around the main gear while bouncing backwards several hundred feet. It did not display this behavior when I was flying it around shortly after the AAU1 update. I'm using the default Asobo livery, so its not a 3rd party issu…
