Can’t believe I’m at 1000 hours! Well, 998 actually but on a five hour flight to Vegas. Just really enjoying the ride. Was a big GA guy forever but picked up the PMDG 736 in November and haven’t looked back, logging 170 hours on APL.

Ok, this is driving me nuts.. I vaguely remember TCAS used to work on boeing and airbus planes.. these days i'm flying GA and not able to get TCAS to show AI on the traffic map at all.. I tested on the TBM and vision jet (both have G3000).. I don't have any WT or other mods other than default stuff from AAU1.. I tested with FSLTL and offline AI as well.. can see a ton of AI flying around but nothing on my traffic map (which is set to operate and not standby).. have tried above, below and even unrestricted options.. no joy.. have tested while flying and on ground.. different range radii.. nada.. any ideas, anybody?

I know that MSFS is pretty good organizing add-ons to display correctly. But here and then, some add-ons require to be set at higher priority than others. Rotterdam by Thalixte (flightsim.to) is a recent example. So my question, how can I set the priority of add-ons in MSFS?

I'm sure he's perfectly okay. But I'm a little disappointed we haven't heard @abrams_tank's insights into all the recent MSFS news and updates. I always learn a ton from his well-crafted posts and decades of experience. He's always been a daily visitor and contributor. But he hasn't signed on to AVSIM in over a week now. Again, we all need a vacation from time to time.

I am considering purchasing an aircraft The requirements are: Transponder / GTN 750Xi (Requires you own TDS GTN750Xi for MSFS) (PANEL 3) 605 Autopilot / RT859 Transponder / GTN 750 (Requires you own PMS50 GTN750 for MSFS) I owned the Flight 1 GTN 750, which the device emulation was exceptional, EXCEPT, it used the Garmin training database which was not frequently updated, so it did not include newer approaches that were in the Navigraph database. To keep the Flight 1 GTN 750 Nav databases (Training) update from Garmin would have been pretty pricey. $100 + per update. I am wondering if the TDS or PMS50 uses frequently updated NAV datab…

Hi, since I use the in the title mentioned joystick, I have trouble landing the fenix a320 in a decend manner. Landing rates are often above 350t/min or even 500ft/min. Can someone recommand me the best setting? I have the feeling my setting are way to sensitive.

It's nice that more and more developers are integrating the TDS GTN750Xi and the 650Xi The 650 is underrated - I'd love to see it in the Carenado Archer - as the 750 is a little out of place...but still great for VR with it's large screen realestate. Anyway there are other features from the update to the Seneca - update via your MSFS Content Manager. Skies are totally clear, despite METAR. The altimeter and wind numbers are fine though. Very strange

On my Lenovo Tab M10 Plus (Android) I want to display the Fenix EFB but: In Chrome only on the My Flight page I can't tap on anything, like import flight from Simbrief and Weather. All the other buttons in the EFB work perfectly. In other browser Firefox, on the My Flight page the below menu's / button's disappear like Ground Services, Mass and Balance but everything is clickable! I don't know anymore, any ideas? Gr. Robert

I am unable to install flybywire. I am able to download the installer OK. When I start the install process it first trys to download the models. The download runs to 100% complete, but the process hangs at this point and never continues on to complete the installation. I can not stop the flybywire install at this point, I have to press the PC power on off button to be able to restart my PC. Not a good way to have to get out of this installation hang. Yes I started with a totaly clean comunity folder.. Any Ideas what I can try? Is the flybywire installer broken? Thanks, Jim B.

I discovered many Asobo duplicate entries in Content Manager. I deleted most of them but now cannot do activities or glider stuff. Not sure what to reinstall. sp

I dowloaded the MSFS 2.5 gig program yesterday in 10 minutes using the XBOX app. The same download from the MP would take 1.5 - 2 hours. Turning off IPV6 makes no difference. Whats going on? sp

Flying the DA20 in real life I can state that Asobo simulated the DA20 very well, including very realistic flying characteristics. The other 2 seat GA beauty is the JP logidstics C152 which I did fly in real life long time ago from Tampa Bay Executive airport, which in fact was my very first flying lesson. I compared both planes in indentical conditions at my current home base EHSE, which is in the southwest corner of the Netherlands. Being close to the North Sea there are often windy conditions. What I did observe is that the C152 is vaning into the wind very agressively and making taxying very difficult to nearly impossible, whereas the DA20 behaves realistic in …

Hi, I'm trying to create User Waypoints in the G1000 so as to use them in a flight plan. I can't seem to access the User Waypoint Information page (a subpage of the WPT page) - I always see it greyed out. Must I do something specific to reach it? I'm not too familiar with "the way of glass", so maybe missing something obvious here.

Hello, I have a question regarding ILS use in the beech king air. I fly with flight plans from LNM, exported to pln, opened in MSFS, used with stock ATC. I finally figured out how to set ILS frequency and (theoretically) start the approach in the AP in the king air. However, when I activated apr mode yesterday, on final, the plane started turning in circles. Once corrected by cutting AP and lining up once more, CDI could only be set to VOR,not LOC (ils was still set correctly in nav1). So I had to do approach and landing manually, again. Any ideas on possible causes, including errors on my part? But: Please do not tell me to not use the MSFS ATC, I kno…

I'm flying the PMDG 737 and the aircraft wants to land short on ILS approaches. I haven't tried the other aircraft, and I don't think it's a PMDG problem, I'm just wondering if anyone else has experienced this before I try to troubleshoot it. I flew the PMDG a lot in previous FS versions but it's been a while and maybe I have the procedure wrong but it doesn't look that way.

Hi, Each sim update has additional items in the various profile, general options & assistance menus. Keeping up with these is not easy (at least for me). Is there a list of menu changes/additions etc. at each update published anywhere? If so, where? Kev M

Hi, I am having trouble starting the Garmin 430 and 530 in the Cessna 172 Classic. They power up with the Avionics switch but nothing appears on the screens except " Conducting Self Test. I wait for several minutes but nothing happens and the control knobs don't seem to work with the display screen. Any ideas? Thanks. Tom

Since AAU1 update, my flight loading times have been excrutiatingly long (two times as long as 45 minutes). Add that to the Lost Connection and Low Bandwidth warnings, I'm guessing that this is an Azure server issue. I'm thinking until this gets fixed I'm stepping back from MSFS for the time being. On a related note, my Rolling Cache is turned off. I don't remember the context on why I turned it off, but it seemed prudent at the time. I'm wondering now whether to turn it back on. It seems when MSFS does load with Bing data on, It would be a good idea to precache data. Curious on other thoughts.

I'm starting this thread just in case anyone else wants to try this easy way to add a reshade preset. Anyone else getting the bandwidth too low warning and not seeing weather since the latest update? I have gotten both and my bandwidth is fine through my provider. Any idea what the issue could be?
