Microsoft Flight Simulator (2020/2024)

If I bought the KORD update via the MSFS marketplace, how do I get the latest update? I checked in the marketplace and it says I am up to date but I haven't been able to get the latest version with the extended 9C runway. I have other FSDT products and am able to update via the installer, but since I bought ORD in the marketplace it isn't showing in the FSDT installer.

100% isolated for me at Newark. I sit at the gate and start prepping the 738 for a flight, I first lose the panel click sounds, then I lost the pilot ATC voice and then ATC controller in that sequence. Once I leave the vicinity of the airport the sound starts coming back (sometimes pilot sound, sometimes ATC controller) but in reality the entire flight is affected in some shape or form from the sound standpoint. Anyone else?

Last two days or so the option disappeared--for you too?

Does any one seeing traffic on the traffic map ? Because i do not, what is wrong , any settings ? The zoom is set to 6/12 and LNM shows traffic near to me. Jusing FSLTL only as simtraffic.. cheers 😉

Hello all, I switched a few months ago from Prepar3D to MSFS. Now that I can no longer use my A320 Skalarki Home Cockpit I am thinking of switching to ProSim. Just got a 30 day demo. Does anyone know how to use GSX Pro with ProSim? Are there profiles to download? The ground vehicles dock, but at the wrong areas and furthermore I can't open the doors. The ProSim manual does here not consider MSFS. Moreover, I would be interested in alternative engine sound. Since I have no access to the ProSim forum due to the missing license, I hope that ProSim user can help me. Thanks Michael

In the recent AU I noticed that in the CJ4 there aren´t anymore green bands on the aileron/rudder trim indicators. Is that OK? Thanks

I am not sure if this is the right place to ask. I use a Saitek Throttle Quadrant which has been working correctly until yesterday. With the HJet I found that it would not operate the throttles except in reverse axis mode. I have tried it with the DA62X which is the other plane I fly and the throttle works correctly in reverse axis mode. This is also the case with the Skyhawk. I have no idea what has happened to completely mess up the throttle. Can any one shed some light? Tony

I have been using FSLTL for some time now and apart from the FPS hit, which is more than I would like, I have been fairly happy with it. However, the other day I set up a flight from Pamplona to Barcelona and for some reason, although the injector seemed to be working, there were no AI physically injected into the airport. I put this down to it being a small aiport and that perhaps no planes were present at the time. Today I decided to undertake a flight from LOWW to LGKR and found the injector simply stopped in mid flow with no AI being seen anywhere. I can't seem to get things working again. My system freezes after 3 hours on my LTFM-EGLL flight.. Everything froze, I didn't get any errors and I couldn't close the flight. My system i9-13900K & RTX 4090 & DDR5 Ram & Win 10 NVDİA latest driver installed I would appreciate your help

Is it ok to have more than 1 of these modules installed in my Community folder at the same time? I was given 1 to use for the Touch Portal app, and another to use for the FSiPanel app. I currently have both installed... is this an issue you think?

I just tried to make a flight in the CJ7 after the latest update, which made significant changes to it. You used to be able to set the NAV frequencies by going into the menu, but that doesn't seem to work anymore. Does anyone know how you do this? It doesn't seem to like the flightplans generated using the MDFD map screen, can anyone confirm?

New member here so I hope I'm doing this correctly. I have FS2020 and TB Velocity One yoke and quadrant. Have been trying to make my own profiles and thought it was going fine. However, if I do a flight in a Cessna 152 (or 174), the engine runs up fine and stays there in the green. I release the parking brake, go down the runway a short distance and the engine RPM drops towards idle. Pulling the throttle knob at random I can often get the engine RPM back up. If the plane is in the air all works normally. I don't see any controls that are "cross-linked" but I'm a real noob at this. I turned on debug mode to check my FPS and I'm not sure how to read it. I looked at the SDK manual and it doesn't say anything. I'm assuming that my FPS is around 60? Hello all, I was doing some performance testing yesterday in the Fenix along with PSXT/AIG. In doing so, I noticed that with PSXT/AIG on at a heavy airport such as ORD or LAX, I was getting 20 FPS. When I turned it off, I bumped up to 35 FPS. Keep in mind, i am not a FPS chaser by an stretch and have been pretty smooth for the most part with only some stutters on short final as mentioned in other posts. My question is, for those of you with similar specs as mine that use the Fenix or PMDG, do you use FSLTL or PSXT and what are your settings / experience between them? Does FSLTL perform any better than PSXT? I'd hate to fly without traffic so I wanted to see if anyon…

I have discovered in the last few days, that with FS Realistic active, and this seems always on approach in the Fenix, the mouse zoom stops working. Sometimes you can switch views and it restarts, but other times you have to close FS Realistic, and instantly the zoom starts working again. This has been reported several times on their forum but it seems they are unable to fix it. Several people on the Fenix forum have stopped using it for this and other reasons. It's a shame this can't be fixed, since I do like some of the features of this add on.

I was reading through the recent thread about the best GA planes, and it got me thinking...for the Grand Caravan being a "staple" in the last few MSFS releases, why can't they get it dialed in? I'm a GA pilot (most time spent in four seaters) but I occasionally like flying the 208 and agree it could use improvement. Not being an expert in the turboprops, it just strikes me as odd that they would include it if its that far off. And I am also surprised more people don't seem to like to fly it. Is there any hope that it will improve? Either in updates or payware.

Not sure if anyone else has seen this but for a long time now, when I fly the Garmin version of the stock 172, the sim keeps adjusting the mixture on it's own. I have all assistance options off but as I climb and slowly lean the mixture manually, it keeps making additional changes. Wondering if anyone has a permanent fix for that, or if the steam gauge version of the stock 172 does it too. I grabbed the Reims Rocket mod recently from flightsim.to and it doesn't have the same issue even though it's based off the stock 172. The stock 172 is the only plane I've ever seen this with. I recently bought Carenados V35 Bonanza a couple of months ago and with the AAU1 Update today it's now missing from the aircraft select menu.It shows it in the content manager but that's it.

Hey all, new member here I've just purchased the Honda Jet and I want to add it to Air Hauler 2. That requires the aircraft.cfg file but I can't find it. I've looked all through the HJet SimObjects folder, I've done a search of the entire Steam MSFS folder and I can't find it. Does anyone have any ideas? Cheers

After today's update, I am getting stuck on this message. I have signed out and into the XBox app, updated the MS Store app, rebooted the computer. What more magic sauce does anyone know of? 😉
