Microsoft Flight Simulator (2020/2024)

Hello, I’m interested in getting opinions on which is the better conpilot addon right now if I’m really just focused on something that will add callouts and run audible checklists…the two options look to be FS2Crew (which I’ve used in the past in P3D) and Flight Simulator First Officer (FSFO). I’m not really interested in having the program run flows etc, I like to be the one pressing buttons and getting the aircraft set up. So which one is better in this area is not a factor for me. My priorities would be ease of setup and use plus audio quality. I think both offer automatic/button/voice options so that looks to be a wash. I’d be looking to use this with…

Hi everyone I am thinking of buying this- seems to have great reviews. Can you please advise other than the failures option in advanced version, it it worth the price difference. I am a fun simmer and i am looking for something to set up landings...I have fs-flightcontrol....unfortunately this does not load the plane in preconfigured states, especially the Fenix 320. looking forward to your advise. Hi All I cannot get the engines to spool up on the Hjet V2, I have gone through all the items on the checklists everything ok there, done all the initialization, weights and balance, fuel quantities, when I come to start the engines (pressing the start button moving the throttles out of cutoff) the n2% starts to rise but upon raching about 6% N2 it starts to spool down. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance

When I press "Fly" and the aircraft is on the runway, the flaps are already down one click. If I retract them, they come right back down! (Makes take off in my Spitfire impossible.) After take off, when I raise the gear, the flaps retract fully which seems too early. Help!

Hi , i notice after SU10/11 the VC is brighter and it is welcomed as i still have a hard time reading the displays. Its harder in the Fenix vs PMDG . My resolution is 65%4k on a 55" 4k . The brightness effect vs outside in MSFS is improved but still a problem on my end. Does VC default Zoom change this? What is your setting in this regards? Maybe the fonts is to small for my eyes these days😉 Thanks Michael Moe

I've been watching the KLAX arrivals & departures via LA Flights YouTube channel, [currently Live on RWY 24R-24L ], & I wondered if there are any 3rd party products that would allow me to observe KLAX RWY: 24R-24L in MSFS, in real time, & see an emulation of what is shown on YouTube, ideally down to the correct aircraft & liveries. If so, what MSFS settings would I need to engage for this to work? T45

For a couple of years now, FS2020 has been behaving inappropriately at touchdown and at takeoff. Occasionally there is an almost uncontrollable skid at the point that the aircraft tires first contact the ground (or depart the ground). This is exacerbated if there is any crosswind - even a mild crosswind can be problematic at times, but add in a stiffer crosswind, say in the teens, then you're talking about tires running on molasses and wings lifting off the ground even with full aileron deflection. I would estimate that this has happened to me about 30% of the time - in other words, it isn't a constant occurrence. Many times touchdown was fairly normal and liftoff…

I google this every few weeks and never come up with any new info besides the initial announcement in December (looking for a 2022 Q1 release🙄) and the March announcement of different models in the package. A few weeks back, here on Avsim, a few replies in a thread mentioned good progress but not much more. So, any news on this thing or is it on the back burner?

guys need some help if its even possible. i like many find the default yellow taxi very difficult to read. so I downloaded some replacement textures from flightsim.to , installed correctly, but know they are all white with no letters are numbers ive broken them. in a panic i bought justflights better taxi signs to try and rectify buts not worked , aim now stuck with these blank white signs , any ideas ? schoolboy error didn't back up the original

Can anyone clue me in as to what conditions send the G3000 AP from a normal green VNAV indicator lamp to an amber lamp, and how to clear it? I have scanned through now (6) G3000 suite guides and can find no mention of it. When amber it seems to lock down and is difficult to rectify.

Can someone please help here. I reinstalled Windows and to my horror after reinstalling MSFS, all my training, flight scores, etc. have disappeared. I have a backup of the AppData/Local/Packages folder. Any advice on how I can get this data back would be really appreciated! I thought this was all stored in the cloud!

Hi All, I'm getting a bit bored with A-B flying, and want to do some more intense hands on stuff, one thought is to play around with failures, apart from the PMDG birds and the Fenix A320, do any other higher quality aircraft have custom failures like these 2? After a lot of great support and advice from you guys here, I'm now loving flying the Fenix A320 around Europe. I've always been a heavies guy (PMDG 777, QW 787 etc) and I'm hoping one will be available soon. What do people think will be the first "Heavy" for MSFS?

After having major problems with the SimObjects isuue (airports disappearing, AI vanishing etc), the one thing that solved the issue was uninstalling GSX. Since then it's all worked fine. Is the SimObjects issue being looked into?

Good evening. I know Goflight is quite an old now but I have 4 Goflight modules and cannot seem to get them working with MSFS 2020, I have got the Goflight interface tool and I have 3 green lights showing when GIT is running, none of my modules will light up, I have 2 x 166 1 x 46 and 1x 48, when I plug the modules into my PC they will initially light up but go off after a couple of seconds, can anybody help me please. Hi Guys, Im totaly new to MSFS(purchased yesterday and downloaded over night).I have a few questions if you guys could help. I have flown FSX and P3D for years using the space bar and mouse to look around the cockpit is this possible to do in MSFS,cant get used to the right mouse button. Hello. Flying the Citation CJ4 stock jet on PC with Saitek X52 pro. On a 300 mile flight the engines just shut down short of the destination. Any help appreciated. John
