Microsoft Flight Simulator (2020/2024)

I have been testing FSLTL the last 2 days and have been impressed. At KMDW, however, only 4 planes spawn. I have the fixed planes maxed, and the other IFR settings very high as well, yet only 4 planes at the entire airport. I try again at KORD with the same settings and it is virtually full. I return to Midway airport and launch my flight to KDTW. Upon landing at Detroit it is also fairly full with my settings. Has anyone else experienced the issue with KMDW. I do notice in the DOS prompt that comes up after injection, some notices that it is removing traffic from Midway. I don’t understand why though. Is there any info on MSFS Live Weather? It does not appear to be working. There are some queries on discord but no answers.

Hi! Some - not all - of the liveries are missing, I think. In some cases the whole airplane is pink, sometimes just some parts of it or the interior. Liveries for Longitude are the worst. This means that some of the textures are missing or incompatible, doesn’t it. It seems to be too difficult to go thru all my liveries. What else can I do? Is there a way to fix this or at least to know which liveries might be the suspicious ones? Or is the problem with my settings, not with airplanes?

How long since you have seen forked lightning in the sim ?

Hey sim pilots and real pilots. So, after i moved on from GA planes to CJ4 to FBW Airbus A320Neo (and flew around the planet in SF50, then CJ4, then A320Neo), i decided to try something even bigger and started messing around with the Salty B748 mod. I wonder if it can be set-up to land itself, and if it can, how to go about it. Whatever i did, i never manged to engage more than just the left AP at once. I'm usually in LNAV most of the flight and manage my altitude with VS. Then i switch to APP mode. The localizer frequency on the RADNAV page is properly set-up. The plane captures the glideslope, and it's able to follow it to rwy, but obviously doesn't flare, it'…

This is going to be a great addition to the MSFS Airbus fleet, especially since on the (very few) screenshots available, the quality seems to meet the FBW A320 standard. I read that with the update today, they fixed the white "snow" covered ground textures at airports. I am at FSDT ORD right now and it is still a white sheet. Did I miss something?

Slightly over 600 MB I'm in the Beta and got an update also.

So the other day I landed at an airport I can't remember which (freeware one) and the taxi lights were floating just above the ground. I put it down to the freeware mod, but tonight I've just landed at Payware EGPF (Pyreegue Dev) at dusk and again taxi lights floating off the ground. I have flown out of this field a lot and don't recall seeing this before? I'm wondering if I have installed something (freeware or payware) which is causing this to happen? Anyone else? Are there any good/realistic A320 rudder pedals out there? I currently use the Logitech pro pedals but am looking for something more geared for the A320. Thoughts?

Is it possible to change planes in a flight without going back to the main menu? I know it was possible in older versions of FS, but I've not been able to figure out how to do it in MSFS 2020. In the older versions you could change in mid-flight (which could be tricky) but I'd prefer to change while on the ground on a leg of a flight without going all the way back to the main menu, finding the airport where I landed, and starting over. Hello All, I recently got FS2020 through that monthly MS Game pass, so its just the basic version. I was looking to add some planes to the game such as some of the newer Boeing Max and similar. Is there a website that I can download this (& others) from or is my only option to purchase the plane through the actual game? Since I'm new any suggestions/tips on mods/planes I should be added? Hi all, I have just started to get a ctd with every flight. I have done a lot of research and testing before coming here to try and rule things out. I am at a loss as to what is causing it now so i wanted to come here and ask to see if anyone knows of something i can check that i have not thought of. I have reinstalled windows 11 and MSFS and have 2 things installed in the sim, Fenix A320 & GSX. These are the only 2 add-ons installed. I can load a flight, depart fine etc... I have just got a notification that an update for Flytampas Copenhagen is available. Finally they have removed the static aircraft, which is superb!! Overall ground textures look better. Checking the flytampa forum this update had been released on 14. January 2022 -> I hope I have overlooked the update or does it really take up to 9 months for update being available for download? Hi, I've been tinkering with some settings trying to increase some fps. My current mointor resoltion and MSFS is 4K. When I reduce the MSFS resolution, everything looks a bit blurry. Is this because I'm using a 4K screen to show a lesser image? If so, is there anything that can be done to overcome the blurriness? Thanks

Flying over London and I'm getting loads of stutters. Trying to land the Fenix A320 at EGLL from the east was impossible. I went back with a less complex aircraft and it's really stuttery...almost to the point where it's unusable. Trying to get the avionics master switch to work for the Black Square king air with my Alpha, using Spad.next . I can get the switch to move up and down by updating "VAR_AVIONICSMASTERSWITCH", but the avionics don't actually power on. Strangely, if I pull the avionics breaker, and push it back in, they come on. Is there some variable or event I'm missing here? Also, I'm trying to get my Saitek multi panel to power on when the battery and avionics switches are on. I have virtual power set up to turn on and off with "VAR_BATTERYMASTERSWITCH" and "VAR_AVIONICSMASTERSWITCH". The switches cause the virtual power icon in spad.next toswitch, but the panel doesn't turn on. A…

I picked up UUDD last week and finally had a chance to do a quick flight into the airport. Once I landed, I noticed a bunch of uneven terrain on the taxiways and by the gates too. Has anyone else experienced this, and if so, any suggestions for a fix? Thanks in advance! Cheers, Pete

Carenado have (seemingly very quietly) updated the Pilatus PC-12 to version 1.1 today, but to date I cannot find any reference to it on their website, let alone a log of updated features or fixes. And at Marketplace, it only lists the PC-12 as updated without any details. I'll go fly it and see if I can determine at least some of them, but if anyone has seen any update notes, please post a link?
