Hi all, I'm looking for some help from anyone that uses a 4090 with frame generation in MSFS. I recently got a new build and i am struggling to work out the best settings for the best experience with this new card. I have a 4k 60hz samsung monitor and if i simply jump into the sim i have what looks like screen tearing with frame generation and vsync on. I was baffled as i thought vsync would stop this tearing. This strange tearing type issue goes away if i turn frame generation off. I then turned vsync off in the sim, and enabled vync ON in the nvidia control panel, This left the sim smooth as butter but i then have some lag when panning with my m…

Just bought this program to help me in VR. Just wonder where I can download the airport charts to put in the folder, so I can acces it in the program?

Hello everyone, Using live or sim produced weather controls, I do not have any visible rain in my sim. Snow seems to work. I read that that this was an issue in years past, that rain was only visible in cockpit view, but was wondering what the current situation is or if I am missing something? I can be somewhere with light moderate or heavy precipitation and there is nothing but lowered visibility and cloud coverage in the sim when in exterior views. If I pan all the way to the ground I see rain drop effects on pavement but if I even move an "inch" off that... all rain effects disappear. Thoughts?

Gaya released LOWW version 2 not long ago, anyone tested v2 already? Are textures really as blurry as in their screenshots? And what about performance? Every now and then I've heard about very bad FPS in Gayas MSFS sceneries and these comments match with the only Gaya scenery I've ever had: LGKO for P3D. This was by far the worst scenery in terms of FPS I had back in P3D (even Flightbeams SFO or DEN had double the FPS than Gayas LGKO scenery!). Thoughts? P.S.: have I missed any FlyTampa news about LOWW in the last months and years? I'd rather spend 25EUR on a FT scenery I know it is outstanding w/o even looking for a single screensho…

I have a question that has been buzzing me for a few days, I bought the pc that will arrive in a few days by putting 2 nvme ssds of 1tb each Samsung 980 Pro, only now I have a big doubt, how is it better to prepare the operating system and msfs? The motherboard will be a Z790 d5 tomahawk. I will use the pc at 99x100 only for msfs, so how is it better to put SO and msfs? SO on one m2 and msfs on the other m2 ?Or would it be better to put both of them on the same m2?Only that at that point 1tb would be small to have SO many msfs?I would kindly like to know if objectively there is a performance difference bet…

Not to push too many buttons but it seems that MSFS is it its glory when flying VFR or GA aircraft. My observation is that MSFS struggles when using large airports with realistic AI traffic. and or large indepth skyliners. This situation was also prevalent with FSX / P3D versions which is a reason I chose never to fly into airports like KSFO or fly the heavies. Then like now I stick to high perfomace GA planes in and out of small to medium size airports. Doing this I feel I can avoid substandard perfomance , CTDs and enjoy smooth flying. I'm interested on what others think about this and is it simply a matter of obtaining an uber PC to acheive the req…

I have a few questions for the Fenix folks that I thought I would ask here. So I have set the replay function on in the experimental options and have saved this. However every time when I start FS2020 it's off again . Is this normal behavior ?

I have been getting more pauses and hesitations within the past few weeks. I had attributed it to this sim but now I'm thinking different. I find that I'm getting it in streaming videos and even it other applications. So it's probably something in my computer. Anyone have any ideas what would be causing this? Roy

Hi, I am working through the flight training lessons in MSFS and am stuck in the 'take off' and solo flight ones. Both lessons require you to take off and maintain a speed of 75kts whilst reaching a height of 5,000ft. The distance is limited to ensure you keep a reasonable angle of ascent. Even with full power, I am unable to keep a steady speed of 40kts and can only get above 50kts if I begin descending, which is not good for your performance score. Any ideas how I can achieve the speeds required?

I don't know if this is specific to the PMDG 737, or if this is a general cockpit cam issue...notice the terminals and parked aircraft aren't obscured by fog in cockpit view ...but they are obscured in drone view.

Guys, has MS unlocked aircraft sold in their Marketplace yet, so they can easily be modified? Or am I still better off buying from 3rd party external vendors?

Is there something in my settings that would cause my mouse to perform poorly or slowly? I know that sounds odd but most of my flights recently I have gotten very jittery or delayed mouse reactions making it difficult at times to function. Is there something that would cause this and what can i do to fix? Thanks!

Does FSUIPC for MSFS 2020 work the same as FSX when changing aircraft? I really miss the control profiles not being automatically changed when selecting different aircraft.

Hi all, hoping some of my fellow flight simmers can give me some advice as to where I am going wrong. I am completely confused and have tried so many things I have lost count. I thought I had a decent set up, but now I am starting to wonder. I got a new HDR1000 monitor a few weeks ago and have been loving playing HDR games, everything looks fantastic. So I decided to fire up MSFS after a few months hiatus to try it out. However I'm confused because I honestly can't tell the difference bettwen HDR10 on and HDR10 off. Can you tell which is which? Dear Aviators Has anyone noticed an error this morning when starting the FSTL injector? The version number is blank and the start button says 'error'. I've already tried reinstalling the WT app and FSTL, but it made no difference..

I just completed a flight from Innsbruck to London Heathrow but on approach into London, the frame rates got so low that the sim was unusable. I was flying into inibuilds EGLL, had ORBX London landmarks and was in the Fenix A320, so pushing my system to the limit.
