Microsoft Flight Simulator (2020/2024)

I really want to fly the 787 in MSFS. I have the premium version. I see I have the 787-10. I also see I downloaded the Heavy Division 1.15 update version. I am not sure if it installed properly. In my plane menu in MSFS, I have only a 787-10 available. In the 787 CDU under Ident Page, OP Program says - HD-PROD-1-15-STA. There is a HEAVY button in the CDU - so I think the update went thru?? correct?? I also notice I have many issues with the 787. The FWD EXT Power is indicating AVAIL, yet when I i hit the buttons, nothing happens (BAT is ON), the AT ON/OFF buttons are inoperable and I have no autothrottle. LNAV doesn't work, nether does HDG select work. …

So my friend recently bought msfs and we’ve been playing on shred cockpit mode. We want to do that on Vatsim, but I was wondering, does one of us need to connect as an observer and the other to connect normally, or can we both connect normally? Or like what’s the procedure of flying in shared cockpit on Vatsim?😅

I guess I still don't really know how default traffic works in MSFS. Sometimes back when I bothered with ATC it would clear me for takeoff when a plane was on short final. I assumed that was a human user that ATC couldn't see. Lately, flying the PMDG 73-8, I keep getting traffic alerts, but I never actually see the plane even if I cheat and go to external view. It sees several ghost planes around me that are just invisible. Anyone have insight as to what's going on?

Hey everyone, I haven´t been flying for a while in my sim so it was time to return into flying. When I was about to taxi with my nice CRJ, I noticed, that my throttle is not responding. I checked the settings, all axis were assigned. I tried some things. I ended up having the throttle in my sim only responding after I input 50% thrust on my Thrustmaster Hotas X. Can´t figure out, how to fix this and the MSFS forum is horrible for asking about such an issue. Hope someone here can help me out on this issue If any screenshots or stuff like that are needed, just ask. Will try to provide every detail Thank in advance Paul

Is anyone else experiencing this? The plane captures the GS alright and starts descending correctly. However, at about 500 feet the plane starts descending at about 300 feet per minute and you end up high on the approach. I then have to disengage the AP and hand fly it further. Only once has it taken me down the GS correctly

Hi All, I stumbled across the freeware Fenix2GSX utility a few weeks ago and am very impressed with how it integrates the two programs. Triggers refueling and catering, refuels to the exact same amount of fuel in your OFP, can automatically trigger boarding and loads the Fenix via the EFB with the Simbrief OFP indicated pax and weights. Plus lots of other automation between the two. It reminds me of what we used to have with the FSLabs integration with GSX to an extent. When I go to Market Place to buy something, I select it, click on Buy and Download and I get a message saying "Another transaction is still pending. Please wait a few minutes and try again." This has been going on for two days now. I can't seem to find out what transaction is still pending. Anyone know a fix for this? Thanks

Steam / MSFS version 1.34.16.0 - SU13 update worked easily and sim works well with no apparent problems My confusion is that I installed the entire Sim on Drive I and I thought it had always been there. My 400GB AddOn source library and 135 GB ORBX library are on Drive D:. Both are SSDs and both drives work perfectly. I have the latest version of GSX (2.7.6) and am unable to start it at a number of airports that I have been flying from and to. The GSX box opens, and the wheels in the box just keep turning, and the GSX menu just does not appear - as it did pre SU13 and/or the latest GSX update. Any thoughts or suggestions?

There is now a single login for all Navigraph services, including Charts, SimBrief and (in the future) airport mapping data for OANS (onboard airport navigation). Having gone through the ballache of slow ms servers and installing SU13 I am left with one issue which pertains to the logbook (Everything else seems positive so far). Initially I thought that the sim was crashing when I selected logbook but it seems to hang for around 10 minutes whilst the logbook is loading then comes back to life. During this 10 minute period I can do nothing with the sim or even shut it down. How many of you are experiencing this issue and are there enough of us to cause ms/asobo to release a patch to fix it?

Hello Gang! Anyone noticed any issues with REX Accuseason after upgrading to SU13? I've noticed that after the update to SU13 I could no longer access the Content Manager or successfully exit to the Main Menu without killing MSFS through Ctrl/Alt/Del. As soon as I took out the REX folders from the Community folder, life was good again. Any ideas? Anyone observed this yet?

Been away for awhile. wanted to know if folks are still using these. I read awhile back that these were causing performance issues, so I uninstalled them. That was a few SU's ago. Curious as to whether any of you are still using these or have noticed anything with regards to performance degradation.

Please help. Today I tried to fly the FBW A320. When I attempt to import the flight plan from Simbrief into the flypad I get a warning 'error: unknown user ID'. All I have done this morning is update the A320 after a prompt from the FBW installer. Any help is greatly appreciated. Later: Apologies, I found I had to re-link my navigraph account. All is working again.

VrFlightsimGuy says: No led it an LCD panel, not fresnel like the Quest 2 and Reverb G2 but pancake lenses, no local dimming (like the Pro has) but 2064 by 2208 (a strange pixel count). He said the lenses are better than the Varjo Aero. He said the Quest Pro had the best lenses he had ever seen (he has used all the various headsets) and these are even better.

I have done two flights: one in Fenix 320 and another one in PMDG 737 to Flight Beam KIAD. Both times I got CTD (with memory error) approaching (about 5 miles out) runway 19L,19C, 19R on ILS. Without using these fiddly replay cameras and addons? Is there a way to watch your takeoff and landings from a passenger point of view? I fly mostly Fenix A320 and PMDG 737 and love to watch my takeoff/landings from the passenger wing view and I want to be able to do this in the most quickest and efficient way possible without having to resort to replay apps. I really wish someone would create a 1st person passenger addon for MSFS so we can play as a virtual passenger.

Hey guys! I'm in Mumbai/India and trying to re-install MSFS after getting the premium deulux version from the store. I'm getting less than steller speeds. I'm running a 500MB up/down fiber line. I don't have any issues downloading games from steam on my PC. Jiust for example i got GTA V down in under 45 minutes. However with MSFS I'm getting between 0.90 to 2Mbits/s I left it running for 2 days and yet to have a sucessful download. It does reach 150-200mbits at times but then goes back down. I've followed a few steps of running a VPN, trying to reset the network adapter, dns etc. None seems to help Thanks
