Microsoft Flight Simulator (2020/2024)

Hello Gang! I have been reporting since yesterday that after upgrading to 1.34.16.0 I had been unable to access my Content Manager. I just narrowed down the issue to Simbridge. When active, I cannot access Content Manager; once stopped, Content Manager is back. Just a heads-up in case anyone is running into the same issue.

The edit in the aircraft.cfg file doesn’t seem to work anymore.

From the very first download of SU13 Beta I have had zero problems and MSFS seems much improved. I hasten to add that I mostly fly airliners, with the occasional A2A Comanche or the TBM930. I have 300 GB of add-ons split between my Community and Addons Linker folders (None of which I disabled for any of the following updates). I use the PMDG 737/6/7/8, Fenix A320, FBWA320, TBM930 and the A2A Comanche 250. Other add-ons I use include: A Pilots Life Chapter 2, ProATC/SR, Flight Sim First Officer (FSFO), Self Loading Cargo, FS Realistic and Lorby Axis to Ohs (which powers my Stream deck for the Fenix). Hello, I'm a bit lost in a wave of recent news. So...am I right tomorrow?

Just installed SU13 and first thing I encountered is there is no longer a profile manager for adding/deleting/copying controller profiles. Does anyone know if they substituted some alternative scheme for doing this? I can’t find it in the release notes. Keith

HI, I have 10GbE Intel card which is detected and works fine, However I am unable to download Sim Update 13 or whatever WorldUpdate, The download stucks when it reaches 1%. I've never had this happen to me before. Some help needed please, Thank you!

Not sure if this happens with other planes, but I find it extremely annoying that the screens are at default set to maximum brightness upon start up. Is there a way to get the brightness knobs to be at 50% instead of turned all the way up? I constantly have to turn the knobs down to 50% to get them to display correctly without being washed out.

Good afternoon everyone, when entering distance circles for alternates on oceanic crossings, does anyone know the distances needed for the A330neo when entering the alternate fixes for 1hr and 3hr rings? For example, for the 787X, when entering the fix info for BIKF (Rejkavik), the 1hr ring will be set as 429 nautical miles and the 3hr ring will be set at 1220 nautical miles, 1hr and 3hr distances respectively for emergency reroutes. I expect the performances will be different for the A330neo so was wondering if anyone uses an estimate such as the mileage above or is there a way to calculate accurately the distance traveled by the neo at cruise level for bo…

I have heard the 'new' unencrypted type of install is now preferred by MS / Asobo. I haven't seen any official quotes / comments, but if they have changed it then they must have done it for a reason. Has anybody done this (apparently performed using the Xbox app)? And if so, what was your experience? Can you simply tell it to use the old location (in my case, F:\MSFS), or does it need a new one to enable it to transform the installation over properly? Also, it doesn't need to redownload everything does it? My internet speeds are relatively slow so hopefully it just transforms the files / data you already have.

Hi all. I recently moved my community and official folders onto a 2TB SSD. However, my sim start times from launch to menu is 10-15 minutes with my menu to sim load times being not much better. In total, it can take up to half ann hour from launch to actually being in sim. I currently use MSFS add on linker but I didn’t notice that make much of a difference. Hi, now that I started flying on Vatsim, I wanted to know what to do in case of a go around. So I watched tutorials. Everywhere, the go around procedure is already inserted in to the FMC when the flight plan is configured, but for me, it’s just a small part of it.(like just the beginning of the procedure) any idea what I’m doing wrong? btw I’m flying the fenix a320

Hi, Today's update (1.33.8.0), which I had no idea about, has destroyed all my settings. I've been trying to restore my settings or an hour (airports and scenery installed, controls, sensitivity, size of the text, traffic and graphics settings... you name it!). And the ATC doesn't work! Why? Please, Asobo, don't do this any more! Regards.
