Microsoft Flight Simulator (2020/2024)

Can someone tell me what I am doing wrong. Cessna 310R The plane will not keep my settings in the tablet when I reload and it never starts cold and dark. Even if I shut down the plane. Ron

I gotta say, I never had any issues with the 738 ever since it was released. Tonight on final to FSDT’s KIAH AT ABOUT 2,000ft I lost control of the entire cockpit, literally everything stopped working, either using the Honeycomb Bravo or trying to click things on the screen. The only thing that worked was the axis on the Alpha and throttle on the bravo, landed but I couldn’t do anything beyond that. Hopefully it was a one off, I’ll keep monitoring. Is anyone seeing any weirdness post SU13?

Flying the DC-3 with the latest Duckworth mod as of 10/4. I am flying the retro panel with the Bendix King auto pilot. Everything works fine except for the NAV mode. I dial in a VOR frequency on the Nav radio and the needle on the panel points to it so I know it is working. I turn on the auto pilot and select NAV but that feature does not work, Heading mode works, but not NAV. It reads ROLL in the auto pilot panel. I fly other planes with the same auto pilot and the NAV mode works in them. It is just the DC-3. Anyone having the same problem? Anyone have a fix for this? Thanks

Obviously, the biggest beneficiaries are the Xbox crowd, who don't have a decent A320 at al. I do wish it was the A321neo, since there are more of these in the US than the A320neos. It is my hope in the future when you release your labor of love, that you can be met with kudos, instead of the seemingly standard of picking fly poo out of the pepper. With better voices and smoother animations this could be really fantastic. A lot of simmers absolutely hate the copilot model in the flight deck, but I for one welcome Otto to the flight deck. Keeping an eye on this one!

Hi, I recently bought the Thrustmaster tca quadrant and so far it works really smooth. Only one problem. Since I started using the quadrant at random times, the flaps and spoilers go to full without me doing anything. Also when that happens, the plane instantly goes to a really low speed like 118 kts. It happens with every plane and I have no idea what triggers it or how to fix it. Any idea what I can do? PS: I only have the throttle and the sidestick, I don’t have the flaps and spoilers add-on.

I've seen this used recently on a stream and was wondering if there was a practical advantage to using it with your flights? Is it really just helpful for streamers? There seem to be a couple or three programs like this floating about and they always seemed redundant to me..

I'm almost certainly doing something dumb, but . . . Haven't been using the sim for a while, and never was big on actual piloting, but been getting things going again (and finding lots of good things since the latest update - feels like the visuals are improved generally) and it seems like most of the smaller aircraft I've been trying, anything with a glass display of any kind (Garmin etc) and the display is so dim as to be unreadable. Don't remember this as an issue in the past. Like I say, I'm not actually too bothered about the finer points of flying, I'm a ctrl-e sort of guy, but I do at least like to be able to see what's going on. Can't see any obvious MSF…

With the CJ4 using the Working Title Mod, the Ground speed and True air speed are shown at the bottom of the co-pilots MFD. The font is quite small, so not easy to read, so wondering if it's possible to move them to the pilot side PFD? I've seen videos with the speeds displayed there, but don't think they were using the working title mod. Thanks Eugene

Is there a good reference on how to use the VNAV feature in the TDS GT 750? I have tried a couple of scenarios but I am obviously doing something wrong. Looked in the GTN manual but cannot find anything.

Hello folks, The last months I was experiencing CTD's a lot of times most of them after a while in the flight. DDU installed every driver possible no fix.... But then I installed the latest Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributable and now no CTD at all anymore. Just reporting so maybe it can help somebody else, nothing so annoying then a CTD midflight! (maybe also crying children while on final at Vatsim, so you have to disconnect)

Wondering if anyone else has seen this. I tried to make a flight today out of KJAX in the Longitude, but the parking brake was was stuck on and I couldn't get it to disconnect. I exited back to the map screen, and thought I'd try again, but I forgot to select a departure point and so I was waiting at the end of the runway instead. On another note, am I the only one who has trouble with the pages on Avsim? Every once in a while it bounces me out of the box where I'm trying to type. It seems to be the page refreshing to load new ads that does it.

Hey all! I just can't seem to get rid of my stutters...When using the Fenix A320, I get stutters no matter the frames. If I lock at 30, it's not smooth. If I uncap and get close to 45-50fps, it's not smooth. Settings are medium to high so not sure what else I can do. Specs are in my signature. Any help would be appreciated. Cheers!

I believe I have the default G1000 in the Cessna. I have the Working Title version up to date in the Market Place 0.14. Its been awhile since I last used FS2020. Has something changed? Or am I missing some thing. Thank You. Bill McCracken

In a YT video about MSFS the guy said he decompressed memory as a stutter fix for Flight Simulator. Does anyone know if accuseason's new terrain seasonal coloring feature works with the google maps texture replacement mod?

I've seen mention of this on the Steam forums, but hoping someone has a resolution. I recently set up a Logitech XBOX compatible controller to controller to control my Drone camera. That's it's only function, all other bindings have been removed. While the aircraft is parked, no engines running while in Drone mode at some points I get a "Stall.. Stall.." warning. If I ignore it, eventually it crashes me into the ground. Somewhat new MSFS, but I assume that the Drone camera is independent. Is this a known bug and if not any suggestions on what steps I can take to resolve it? Thanks Ernie
