Microsoft Flight Simulator (2020/2024)

Hi, never flown the CJ4 before - but following the update. I thought I would give it a try. I have watched videos and read sections of the manual, but am unable to find where I load my simbrief ID - and then how to load a saved simbrief flightplan. Videos and manuals suggest I select the IDX button on the FMC, enter my simbrief ID and then go to page 2 to select my route. I am not seeing any opportunity to add my simbrief ID - and hence no option to load the planned simbrief route. Tried to find assistance online but to no avail - so hence this plea for further guidance. PS - I have downloaded the new Garmin from the content manager …

Noticed today at MACCO EGBB scenery that as I turned on to runway for departure patches of grass coming through the runway. Sim immediately started stuttering. This has happened before at Pyregue EGPH and today on landing at LEPA strange coloured panels appearing on the taxiway also grass patches appearing. Any clues what would cause this as it has only recently started to happen?

I noticed that If I start MSFS and the main menu opens, my PC consumes a sh-load of power, temps, clocks, voltages, etc. are going up as much as MSFS inflight but when I click on the world map, everything goes back to normal. Anyone having this aswell? My route from KMKC to KCPS uses V12 from ANX Vor to COU Vor via Franc intersection. The correct magnetic heading from ANX to Franc is 88 (as reported on VFR sectional and IFR Low charts), but: for Littlenavmap the Heading is 93 (Navigraph 2309 DB) for Pilot2Atc tre Track is 95 (Navigraph 2309 DB) for Navigraph Charts is 94 (update at yesterday) Only Skyvector give me the correct heading (88). I think may be an issue of Navigraph database

Early this evening, I checked my email and saw a message directly from Microsoft, advertising a forthcoming piece of software called "Microsoft AI Copilot." Needless to say, I immediately assumed that this new release was either an MSFS enhancement or perhaps a key part of the upcoming MSFS2024. Long story short, this AI Copilot has nothing whatever to do with Microsoft's Flight Simulator, current or future. I just wanted to give everyone a heads up.

Flew the 172 from EGNT to EGBJ on an uneventful flight earlier and on arrival at Gloucestershire, the airport was flat. No buildings, no hangars, no control tower. Just a flat airfield. Restarted MSFS at EGBJ and all the buildings had reappeared. What happened to the buildings on arrival do you think? I don't recall this happening before, but it made the last part of a fairly long flight annoyingly unrealistic. Internet was fine at 40 mbs and scenery was loading fine all of the way.

I just found out that there is now a web version of the MSFS Marketplace. It's unofficial but it looks like the real deal and always seems up to date with the latest products. After browsing for a bit I found it very accurate when it comes to the prices shown, discounts, ratings and overall catalog. I'm using a small programmable keypad (koolertron) to make extra keybindings in MSFS that I can quickly apply (change views, pause, un-pause, toggle head tracking, etc.). The keypad uses a version Bootmapper Client to program. Problem: Microsoft doesn't consistently recognize my keybindings which are macros -- meaning, if I've created a macro in Bootmapper to trigger "Shift + E" (toggles head tracking on/off) in MSFS, MSFS recognizes it only about half the time and that seemingly haphazardly. The binding is set up correctly in the Koolertron and it should work. But doesn't. This makes me think that it's a timing issue or something within MSFS receiving the signa…

I have installed recently updated 737-900 and was using earlier versions without any issues. With new update, flying has become tricky. Before update, I could turn knobs either increase or decrease the speed, altitude, vertical speed etc. Now with the update, I could increase the speed from 100 (default) to any value or even decrease while initially climbing, similarly, it happens with altitude or Vertical speed etc but after some altitude climb, while I try to climb higher the altitude shown above the knob concerned, is actually decreasing with the arrow indicator is showing decreasing indication even while I keep on trying to turn knob in increasing direction. For anyone that likes Naval aviation I highly recommend this one. The developer behind this is Miltech and it's sold on Orbix. The reason I mention JayShrike is because many of the features that were in that freeware package are modified, upgraded, and expanded upon in the payware version. Up until today, I have been happily running version 1.33.8.0 with no issues (I am not in the BETA). But about an hour ago I launched MSFS and out of the blue I got this strange message that I haven't seen before that said the data on my device did not match the data on the sever and it asked if I wanted to use the "old data" or the "newer data." I selected the option to use the older data, and then it presented me with a 655.78 MB update. Since I didn't know what the update was, I backed out and closed MSFS. I fly exclusively in VR, and running the checklists is kind of a pain when the mouse cursor keeps disappearing if you aren't looking at what you're clicking. Anyone know if there's a spad.next mapping for at least clicking the checklist wheel that I could map? Thanks!

I have been using Neofly 4 for a while now and overall like very much. One issue I have noticed is with the qualifications the most I can get is 2 stars even though it said I passed the test anyone else noticed this?
