MSFS Tutorial: F-14D Super Tomcat Supercarrier Pro Ops

Featured Replies

In this video we look at carrier catapult launch and landing in the new DC Designs F-14D Super Tomcat / Bombcat while using Miltech Simulations’ brand new Supercarrier Pro. We finish off by looking at the differences between the 3 F-14 variants (A, B & D).

The new version 1.0.8 (if I recall correctly) of the A/B includes the new D variant.

Rob (but call me Bob or Rob, I don't mind).

I like to trick airline passengers into thinking I have my own swimming pool in my back yard by painting a large blue rectangle on my patio.

Thanks mate - but where do I get the upgrade to 1.0.8. -  that includes mods to A and B and of course the D model

I don't want to have to buy the whole thing again

Ah - sorry.  I thought this was only available from Just Flight - that's where I bought it from.

I logged in and looked at my orders, clicked on the Tomcat (only listed as A / B variant) and on the page it had the new 1.08 update.
The release notes stated the bug fixes, improvements, and the free added D variant.

You won't need to pay again, but you just need to trace back where you bought it from, as I don't think DC sell directly from their website anyway.

It may also be available on the MSFS marketplace, but I never buy military from there as they come minus the weapons loadouts due to their anti-weapons policy.

If you bought on the Marketplace, you’ll have to wait for the update. DC Designs is hoping for next Thursday, but it’s in MS hands.

On Contrail, you just update via the app.

Thanks to both for the reply - maybe I bought it from Marketplace since it doesn't appear in my JF account
