Microsoft Flight Simulator (2020/2024)

Does anyone have information about outstanding issues with PMDG airplanes, specifically the MSFS2020 737's A/P, FD functionality, and interface with LNAV/VNAV? They have been claiming it's a work in progress for 10 years now and still not properly fixed. Despite all the claims and little adjustments, we still have issues before and after waypoint transitions where the airplane will bank left/right in such a manner that is not real, with unrealistic oscillations from one side to the other before settling down on course. ..for this beautiful SU13 update - it is just amazing !!!! The flight model for the 787-10 is now a masterpiece of a WT work, seeing a lot things are fixed now and the smothness and fluid of the sim is so fine 😎👍 - love it 😍 Can`t wait to test the 747-8, so a happy camper here ! Hi guys, was wondering if there is an addon which randomizes switch positions on initial setup? Will make pre flight checks more interesting as now all pre flights are exactly the same as we always know whats right and wrong. There was an addon for CRJ but I couldnt find anything for fenix. Any help?

Hi, been recently flying the captain sim 777-300ER and I noticed that the interior is not modeled all the way to the back of the plane, therefore I can’t get the back windows wing view:(. Do you know if I can find any windows modelled in the back so I can get my wing view?:). I found some for the FBW a320 on flightsim.to so I was wondering if anyone made anything for the cs 777-300ER

Hello, Every hope you are enjoying the MODED Boeings after SU13. I find that in both BOEING Plane's FMC, One function does not work that is the SEND LSKEY or you may call it PERF/INIT command LSKEY. I find it always GRAYED not active Are there other flyers finding it inactive or not working? If any body find it works then please kindly share your command or trick here Thanks a lot

Goflight and MSFS worked fine until yesterday !! Today I clicked on Goflight Module while I was in My Longitude Cockpit and this message came up. "Unable to Load Aircraft Config,Hexacdecimal value 0x00 is an Invalid Character,Line1,position1." Any Ideas ????

I love the MSFS 787. I notice sometimes the elevators stop working. I see on the ground The FLT CNTR indicators show I can move the elevator to full up and down position, but while in the air the hardly move. Is that because the FBW system is preventing me from over-stressing the plane. But sometimes, I am losing altitude and I deed to pull up, no matter how hard I try, the elevator axis won't move. same happens in a climb, if I push yoke forward nothing happens. AP Pis OFF, no other elevator axis assigned. It all works when I take off, but somewhere it (elevators) stop working. The indicators seem to "try" to move, but something forces it back to neutral. Today, I could not get the flight plan to show on the VFR map.. After some testing, this appears to be specific to the A36 Bonanza which I was flying. Other airplanes do show the magenta line. Has anyone run into this before? 😉

Hi, I was flying the 737-800 recently and I noticed that the triming was kinda broken. I was using the AI auto trim setting, but with that active, the plane randomly starts to go nose nose up, nose down constantly. It stops after some time eventually. if I turn of the setting, it’s very hard to trim. I was on final at 2000 feet and the plane was descending, but the nose was up like in the climb phase. do you know how I can trim it easily? or how can I make the auto trim setting work better?

Just updated GSX to version 2.7.7. Started setting up a flight at EGSS from cold and dark, with the Fenix A320. The GSX menu opens and I select to refuel the aircraft - usually I would get a confirmation that the fuel truck is on its way - but this is not happening anymore. When I try and reopen GSX, the menu reopens, but the wheels inside the menu just keep turning and the menu options do not reappear. I thought 2.7.7 was a fix for this. Anyone else have the same issue - or is there something I need to do to fix this? Not sure if this makes any difference, but I access GSX through Flow Pro - not the menu bar

Hi I've never had this before in any aircraft before the latest update ive even reinstalled MSFS as i thought the file was corrupted the 747 is fine. No matter what i do i cant enter V Ref speeds i get takeoff speeds deleted (speeds deleted due to change in takeoff conditions on the fmc enter speeds on takeoff ref page) I'm no novice ive flown pmdg for years etc im stumped with this one. It was fine before the update anybody got a clue?.

Just completed my first flight with SU13 flying the PMDG 737-800 with A pilots life in Brazil ( SBCF to SBSP) . Flight went perfectly, couldn't be happier. Good job, Asobo.

Greetings! Does anyone know if IniBuilds will be modifying their A310 so that pilots show in the cockpit when in exterior view? I used to fly that aircraft a lot, but finally gave up on it as lack of pilots in the cockpit while in exterior view just kind of ruined the experience for me. Regards, Scott

Hello! all flyers, As it is mentioned that a lot of AVIONICS improvement had gone into SU13 including B747 -8 ,B787-10 ete.ete.. I was trying to program a flight plan in the FMC of B747-8 using SIMBRIEF commands like REQUESTING to input the F/Plan and requesting INITS by clicking SEND button but it does not work, and a massage comes up "login to SIMBRIEF", Although, the Simbrief downloader constantly running and the F/Plan page is active as well. Since there is not any clues available it's difficult to work out how things work. I am wondering if any body knows the SIMBRIEF methods of how it works to setup a flight plan. Simple question: Fenix2GSX used to load up the plane exactly as instructed via Simbrief. Lately it simply won't do it correctly e.g. I select 175 PAX via Simbrief, ACFT gets loaded with only 165 PAX and the Loadsheet says +3 :O. Anybody experiencing this?

What's everyone thoughts on HDR? I have an SAMSUNG 32" Odyssey Neo G7 4K UHD 165Hz 1ms G-Sync 1000R Curved Gaming Monitor, Quantum HDR2000 and I was wondering if HDR really works with MSFS as I have mixed results. Thanks!

Since updating the SIM last week I no longer have any profiles for the TCA Throttle. There is no picture of the throttle just the default controller picture. The TCA Sidestick is OK. The controller is connected and all buttons recognised, but no profiles.
