I usually set up a HOLD in the Fenix Airbus FMGS that I can use to achieve a particular Altitude Restriction. If I know I am not going to make the ALT Restriction I will Execute the HOLD to get things cleaned up and then exit out of the HOLD and continue to the next Waipoint (ALT restriction). If I make the restriction I will "Ignore" the HOLD. Just curious if anyone else does similar.

Every time I start msfs i am getting a command window with the following: Sentry initialized Checking for update Update for version 3.3.8 is not available (latest version: 3.3.8, downgrade is disallowed). [9232:1007/094048.410:ERROR:gpu_init.cc(453)] Passthrough is not supported, GL is disabled, ANGLE is I'm not sure what this is all about, how in got onto my system or whether i need to do anything about it, close it or delete anything and the results of a google search were not particularly clear to me. I can use either the Frame counter supplied with GeoForce Experience or the one that comes on my ASUS monitor to display the frame rate on my monitor. Since the SU13 update neither one works. The ASUS monitor one displays only the screen refresh rate. The GeoForce Experience one only display N/A. Both were working prior to the update. The FPS counter native to MSFS 2020 in the Developer mode works, but I don't like it. Oddly when I first launched the game, on install day the GeoForce counter was working fine. Hi guys I have noted strange behavior of Fenix A320 in the latest version .214 I'm in descent with some waypoints with constrains ahead. All in managed mode. AP and A/T are ON. Below 10000 feet managed speed is 250 kn. Then controller asks me to slowdown to 220 kn. I switch speed knob in command mode. There is 250 in the speed window as it should be. I set command speed to 220 and plane starts to slowdown by DECREASING ITS DESCENT RATE! Say from 2000 fpm to 600-700 fpm. When speed reaches 220 kn plane almost dive to catch next waypoint constrain. Hello, GNTXI TDS I like to setup the flight plan on the desktop version of TDM GTNXi before entering MSFS and loading it for the flight. The problem is I cannot figure out how to change where my plane is from the JFK default airport to the one in my flightplan. When I go into fuel load and time planning, it acts like JFK is where my plane is, so the numbers are completely useless. Ron

Having just returned from holiday, I updated to SU13 yesterday and set up a flight in the Fenix A320 yesterday from KLGA to KDCA. The only add-on I was using was the updated FSLTL. Not sure exactly when, but about half an hour in to the flight I had a CTD - not had one of these for many months. So, thought I would try a different flight, and again with the Fenix A320, I set up a flight from KDCA to KORD, and again used FSLTL. The same thing happened - a CTD after half an hour or so in to the flight. Hi, is it only me, but loading of Flightsim.to has been so slow for me that it's effectively unusable right now. Notably preview images load infinitely. I was looking for a forum to ask (they had one time ago) but can't find it anymore under the new UI. In my despair, I even turned to their Discord🤢 but there's nothing besides product announcements (or I am too old to find the proper channels?). Kind regards, Michael

I love VFR flying in Austria as there are many excellent freeware airports on Flightsim.to. Several of these add-ons include aerial data as the default Bing data is rather poor which enhance the immersion a lot. But it looks that the MSFS can't handle addons if several contain aerial data and are enabled in the community folder. As an example, LOGK Kapfenberg airfield where the default Bing data is a disaster. With the excellent add-on from Littlekrg-Troglodytus, this airfield looks great! But as soon as other Austrian add-ons are active in the community folder which also contain aerial data, the display of aerial data becomes very random! No aerial da…

Hi guys, I use the in Sim ATC (I know lol) but cannot get anything transmitting over Com 2. I use 2 Real Sim Gear hardware units, a 750 and a 650...but tuning the 650 into Com 2 does not do anything at all. What I find is as per this scenario.. I tune ground into Com 1 with Tower in the back up ready to switch over. This in the 750 I tune ATIS into Com 2 to listen. With the MSFS 2020 ATC window open I press the audio button on the 750 to listen to Com 2 (ATIS) it changes over but….Silence…It also does not visually switch over in the ATC window either but will if I use the in game mouse pointer…but again silence….using the in game mouse …

Trying Sim again Fired u sim and it did a big download Redownload FBW A320 plane When I try to start it from cold and dark, first thing I notice battery light dont show off I try to click off say left battery off, right one goes off I try to turn off left by click on it right right illuminates. Then I follow instruction to start engine, I turn on ignition to start Put master switch 2 to on Engine does not start Now I know why have not played MSFS for a while, frustrating

I had to do a clean install of my Windows the other day and now I‘d like to reinstall MSFS. Since I still have all of my MSFS files on a separate drive, I‘d like to do this without having to redownload everything. Does anyone happen to know how this can be done?

I hope someone can explain/guide me tthrough an issue I have with the Kuro 787/8; on starting engines i have prop sounds (clear and then prop starting) rather than the expected airliner 787 jet sounds. I am not sure what I may have done to crerate this issue and I have no idea how to correct this. Appreciate if some one has advice I can follow. Thank You

Why is slewing an aircraft in MSFS such an issue? In P3D it was easy. Now in MSFS, I can't really get the aircracft in the position I want as each tap of the keypad sends it hundreds of meters in that direction. But to top itoff, when I press Y to release it from slew mode it sends the aircraft into orbit!!!! So annoying and ANOTHER thing that P3D got so right yet MSFS has failed to sort out.

I've currently got MSFS on an internal nvme which also has my OS, and the community folder on an HDD. Would I notice the difference in anything other than load times if I put everything on an external SSD? There are a few like the Crucial X9Pro that are on the Prime sale finishing today.

Has anybody been able to use the goflight Switches and buttons in MSFS. Maybe with Spad.Next ? Unfortunately FSUIPC7 can`t read them.

Is anyone able to use these (defaults I mean, please don't tell me about other versions.) I try to fly them, and they won't follow flight plans. They end up "losing" the plan and doing their own thing. I assume some people must be able to use them, can you tell me if there is a way or did you have to invent a workaround? Hello all Just purchased PAFA airport from Realworld Scenery on the Marketplace, it was on sale. Is it me ( or my system, but i doubt it ) this scenery is very badly optimised. Stutters are all around when approaching the airport. Noticed a lot of planes parked on tarmacs ( i don't use any traffic ). Any ways i can removed those planes ? Or maybe thats not it . I have tons of payware airports and never experienced something that poor ! I need your feedback if you have it. I cannot get the rocker to work or adjust the VS no matter what mode. Here is the manual text. Anyone figure this out? This autopilot receives vertical speed and target altitude information from the KAS 297B Altitude Selector; however, the vertical speed rocker switch may also be used to adjust the vertical speed of the aircraft. This can help improve situational awareness by not requiring the pilot to display vertical speed on the KAS 297B, which can sometimes be confused with the target altitude.

I fly all over the world with A Pilots Life. Every once in awhile, on approach t, regardless of it's size, I would get momentary freezes of the video which reminded me of the FSX, P3D days. Often it would make it extremely difficult on short final to control the landing. because at 100-2000 feet AGL the video would freeze for a second or two. Since SU13, with many flights, I have not had this happen once. Wondering if anyone else has noticed this.

I'm looking at building a Reckhorn BC-200i transducer into my cockpit seat, powered by a Nobsound 100W Subwoofer Mono Power Amplifier. I thought everything would be fine, then I woke in the middle of the night with an air of concern! I suddenly realised that I had no idea how to ensure that my Hyper X headset with mic, which operates via USB, was going to work at the same time as the transducer running out of the back of the default audio output on the MB. Is there anyone who could offer some help with this? Thanks.
