Hello all! I currently have a 3080 and 10gb of VRAM for WQHD is simply not enough. I know that there are rumors of a 4080S that may come out in Q1 or Q2 of 2024 so Ideally I would want to wait for that. However, if I can sell my 3080 I might be able to get a 4070 or 4070TI for a couple hundred bucks. Do you think a 4070 or 4070TI would be worth it until next summer? Would this hassle be worth it for an extra 2gb of VRAM and being able to use FG? Also, any big performance difference with the 4070 or 4070TI? Thanks!

Hi, I currently use a keyboard without numpad on my gaming PC and based on videos I've seen for flight simulator, it looks like a keyboard with a numpad may be a good idea. Am I right? Is there any good keyboard that's particularly well designed for flight sim use? Or any old keyboard will do?

Hello everybody, I don't understand why in the game I never have turbulence in a cruise flight I just took an Ajacacio Brest flight normally I should have had turbulence I looked on the Navigraph application I was passing through yellow zones see red during my flight and in fact I had 0 turbulence the plane does not move the camera remains fixed as if on rails although I have put realistic turbulence in the MSFS parameters... Is there at least one camera setting to make movements a little more amplified like in the days of P3D with EZDOK?

Every time I try and drag the fuel slider to adjust the amount of fuel, it jumps back to 65%, regardless of what I select. I am in the FBW A320 and the EFB also won't allow me to change fuel; the refuel arrow is greyed out. Please help!

Where is the actual Rudder Trim control situated (not the RT display) ?

I always thought SimBrief would generate a flight without Sid/Star or runway designation. But now I see that is not the case, the MSFS generated flightplan contains these. My last flightplan BIKF/EGPF had the RIMU1A dep. and runway 01 while the wind was 250/13. MSFS didn't change anything so this kind of explains why I got wrong rw assignments so often in the past. Is there a setting somewhere in SimBrief to get only the route waypoints in a FP? I am also asking because in the HJet this results in FP errors (must delete FP) when changing dep. or arr. Ok, I see now that I have to choose runways in SimBrief, can't do without I guess.

It runs, gets to 100% then fails. Tried it 5 times ow.

Hey guys....saw a few topics that I thought had the info I needed but I never saw a good answer. Which one if I'm on Ryzen 5 7600x 4070TI and DX12 with 32gb ram? I saw mention of possible BMW issues in DX12, but I have their KPHX and it seems to do ok in DX12. Thoughts? EDIT: meant MK Studios

I actually like the default map planner but there is one thing about it I wish they would change. When you pick an arrival or destination-why does the huge white box come up that covers all the map detail of that area? Why not just a colored small icon that's not so LARGE? I think this part must have been designed by whoever designed the huge taxi ribbon that makes the sim look like a cartoon.

Hi folks, I had a bit of a weird discrepancy between the real life weather, ingame weather, ingame METAR, simbrief METAR and METAR according to a website. So basically the sim depicted real weather right but simbriefs (on the OFP and fetched via their website) and the ingame METAR showed some old METARs that didn't match the actual weather by far (showed winds VRB at 3 kts while in reality it was gusting up to 35 knots). So the 3rd party website was the only instance showing the right weather. Anyone else who experienced this? Wasnt able to check today yet. Best regards

Hey all! I just got a Samsung OLED G8 and I love the monitor. Games look beautiful...except for MSFS. I feel like the MSFS colors don't shine and are very plain. Any one experiencing this with an OLED display? Any tips? Thanks!

Perhaps this is old news but I think I've made some progress on this. I started to get this message every time I used the sim in the last couple of weeks on my 300mbps connection and it was accompanied by blurry textures and no tress etc. I've had the flu for the last week or so I forgot about it but today I sat down to do some flying and the problem persisted so I've had to deal with it and deal with it I did. I don't believe in coincidences so I made a mental list of other thing that happened around the same time this start and tried to determine causation or merely correlation. Bowerman airport (KHQM) is a small airfield on the Pacific North West Coast. It could be the perfect starting point to explore this awesome area. The default MSFS rendition is AI generated and could benefit from a little work With it’s 6-24 asphalt runway of 5,000 feet (1,524 meters), KHQM is promoted as “Only Jet-Capable Airport” by the local authority. Straight from the WT discord server, Navigraph have confirmed that they have submitted their Xbox marketplace application for their Charts Integration plugin, which would allow default aircraft like the Cessna Longitude and TBM930 to display charts within the avionics. The plugin is being made to allow Xbox players to use charts at will, as Microsoft cannot guarantee that Navigraph will indefinitely provide these features if they were embedded into the default aircraft. After the sixth update, the fps at all airports does not rise above 20. On any plane at any airport.After taking off and climbing to 50-100 feet, the fps stabilizes at normal 30-35.Changed the graphics settings.Completely turned off traffic.It's useless.Help me solve this problem.

Bought this when it came out, and let it just sit in my community folder since it was summer. Now winter is fast approaching in the northern hemisphere. Completely forgot I had it installed, and was pleasantly surprised while doing a flight northbound out of Oslo.

I just completed 3 different flights in the “Safe Mode” choice that comes up after a CTD (though I force closed MSFS while opening to get the choice of Safe Mode). I did several flights across the San Juan Island area at jet speeds AND an Ontario to LAX flight and couldn’t get the game to stutter, freeze for a few seconds, no normal annoying behaviors...just silky smoothness. My wife hearing my amazement said “well, duh, you disn’t overload it with all your add ons!” But this now has me wondering exactly WHAT add ons (in the Community or even the Official folder) were absent that caused such supreme smoothness? I have Feelthere KLGA and GSX Pro in MSFS. Some buildings are missing. I wrote to Feelthere and they say to exclude Feelthere KLGA from within the GSX settings. I have searched Youtube and all my setting and don't see how it it done. Am I doing this inside the MSFS sin and opening up GSX? or opening up GSX outside the sim? then where do I go from there. Any advice will be appreciated.
