Seeing that the genius community has come up with a way to hack the .exe to improve sky colour, I wonder if there could be a way to hack the .exe to disable the METAR reads/blending in the weather? I so much would love to have our real weather back WITHOUT the METAR blending 😉 Probably not possible, but then again, no one thought it would be possible to bring the sky colour fix into the game unless the devs did it..

Hello, I've not had any problems till tonight. I wanted to make a PMDG 737 flight from PANC to KSEA. When I try to spawn the plane on the runway I get a CTD so here's what I did. I'm sorry in advance as this might be a lot. The sim runs, I select a plane, and then PANC, the blue loading bar gets to 90% then CTD. So I tried other airports and the A2A Cherokee as a test. KBOS - PMDG - OK PANC - PMDG - CTD PANC - A2A Cherokee - CTD PAEN - PMDG - CTD KATL - PMDG - OK PAKT - Cherokee - OK PAKT - PMDG - OK PANC - PMDG - RWY 15 - CTD Then I uninstalled PANC through ORBX Direct, ran the sim, Tried the default Pitts at …

After receiving my VRInsight overhead panel, I thought there was some room for improving the lack of dials, or should I say, room for improving what is already there! I hope this is helpful for those who have this bit of kit, or for those who are considering it's purchase.

They did it again! I believe a most recent update messed up my settings! Those annoying instrument displays have re appeared again. They are showing up again in the corners of my screen. It was easy to remove them by turning off the "Heads Up Display" Now HUD cannot be found. Can someone guide me to the new procedure to turn them off please? Thanks.

Just purchased the Tobii Eye Tracker. But when I set it up, I am looking the back of the pilot's seat. In other words it feels like I am sitting in the rear of the aircraft (Cessna 172). How do I rectify this?

Since using GSX, I haven't really given these any thought. However, I'd like to see AI traffic using ground services. The only posts I found on the topic are these: MSFS FORUM I tried disabling the stuff suggested, but still have no pushback trucks. I'll get some ground vehicles driving around...a few catering trucks, vans, and firetrucks, but no other ground service vehicles or people. Both sliders are maxed out just for testing purposes. Is there another setting that is hidden? Or does GSX disable the ground services automatically? TY

I have FS2020 and GSX Pro Installed. I have many addons from Drz Design, FSDT, FlyTampa, Flightbeam, LatinVFR and so on. Does GSX pro overwrite the default and addon jetways? I see some jetways missing and some posted to remove .bgl files in GSX. But I see no where to do so? KLGA has many gates 20-25 missing and Feelthere is the addon for them

Here is a quick introduction to it : We began to create our simulator and we finally purchase everything and define what we want to do for kids and adults (scenario, duration, difficulties, explaination...) Hi Everybody, MS2020 stutters reduced by adding an additional experimental screen, how is this possible? Is there anyone here at AVSIM that can explain why adding an additional experimental screen thereby increasing the workload of my hardware would make for a smoother view? hi all, so, I had my annual summer break from flying. Wow lot's has changed. I tried to fly in the pmdg with a friend of mine. He was the host. We logged into Vatsim together, but his plane glitches through mine. I thought last time I did this, it didn't do that. Any tips? cheers Vic

I find it rather great that PMDG's FMS is nice enough to calculate Vspeeds for me, because it means I don't have to do math. However, those Vspeeds seem a bit...Optimistic. On almost every takeoff in the 73-8, if I were to reject the takeoff just before V1, there's absolutely no way I'm getting that thing stopped before the end of the runway. There have been times when I've hit V1 and then Vr less than one second later, and the threshold is disappearing under my nose just as I lift off. Is there some step I'm missing, or are the FMS calculations off?

Hello, Just Flight have given their approval for me to attempt a few mods for their Warrior, Arrow and Turbo Arrows package. At the moment my time is quite limited owing to health issues, but I have created modded flight models (so no system or other tweaks) and invite a very limited number of users, especially those who have issues with handling, to test the mods before possibly releasing them. Since the SIM update 13 I have had big problems with PROATCX SR. The Autentic background ATC or AI communication always stutters Like a record that hangs. What I found out is that if you press the real mouse button during the sound output and stay on it, the sound is played back without stuttering. I don't understand what that has to do with the right mouse button. But that's how it is. I've tried everything possible. There is no solution. The problem is with the PMDG, Fenix. It works with the ATR. With FBW Airbus I don't get any AI or Autentic background sound at all.

Since the last update, all my aircraft steer to the laft while taxing and have to constantly correct and over correct. Gnacino

For anyone who has a decent 6000 series AMD card Frame generation is now available with their latest tech preview driver. Testing with MSFS at the moment and its working very nicely. I bet paired with a 5800x3d an end user should see strong performance. Definitely changes the upgrade equation for me now.. No new system for me until late next year for MS2024. Hi Everybody, I seem to have an issue with my engine reverser indicators on the aft overhead. Was wondering if someone can confirm they see the same problem. When I engage engine reversers I do not get any illuminated indicators on the aft overhead showing "REVERSERS" for both engines, they only illuminate when I put the reversers back to the forward position after they've been engaged. I have been flying in the UK lately with A Pilots Life, and everytime I fly into EGLL I see this strange dark area with square corners at around a 9 mile final. I have all default scenery, and it doesn't change even with clear skies. Has any one else seen this?

Can failures be completely turned off in A2A Commanche?
