Microsoft Flight Simulator (2020/2024)

Hello, I have MSFS2020 (MS store version) installed on a 500GB SSD that is running out of space (drive d:) I just got a 2TB SSD and I was wondering what the best way is to "move" MSFS to the new drive and format the old one. I've read that I can use the "move" option from the MSFS2020 icon in Settings/Apps but it doesn't copy everything. I'm sure there is some MS Store and MSFS data in my C:\ drive too. I tried "Disk Copy" from EaseUS and cloned the old drive into the new one, reassigned the drive letters but it didn't work. Any help appreciated! Thank you in advance.

Hi, i was flying the pmdg 737-800 and I wanted to load the forecast in the des page but there was a problem. I clicked ,request forecast’, but when I hit load, it said ,datalink config invalid’. Do you have any idea how I can fix that? ps: I introduced the flight plan myself( i didn’t load any f plan)

Hi, so far I’ve been using simbrief for my flight planing so far it helped me very much. I have one problem tho, with time, I noticed that simbrief is more like a route planner, than an approach planner, and I couldn’t find any useful data about the approach( expect the stars/sids) like ils frequencies or go-around plans. Do you know if simbrief can do that? Or can you recommend a free software that has the approach frequency/charts, etc?

I recently setup Tobii to replace Track IR. However, every time I load in the sim (into the Kodiak) my view is either behind the seat head rest or inches from the glare shield. I ALWAYS have to use the keyboard to setup my view where it should be. I’ve tried saving my VFR cockpit view but that has no effect. Has anyone else struggled with this and figured out a solution?

Anyone getting connection lost messages popping up on the screen this morning every couple of minutes, and then a few seconds later, reconnected?

Do I understand correctly that if you are flying anything other than A2A, that FSRealistic Pro is a no-brainer to enhance the overall experience?

Are they modelled with some accuracy? Can you use them to determine wind direction and strength? Or are they disconnected from the weather?

Depsite not changing anything on my system and no updates I can remember, when I came to start a flight on 2 September, I found that I cannot move the camera/pilot view around the cockpit as I normally would. I use a mouse and normally I would click both left and right on the mouse to move the camera/pilot view around the cockpit. I also note that the camera continiusly pans left very slowly. I have read lots of threads and can confirm that the Cockpit Interaction System ' has been set to 'Legacy' and that I reverted to the defauly mouse setting. MSFS captures some controller inputs in "background mode" and uses them in-game, even though another window may have the focus. Example: (1) Load up any flight, (2) switch to an external view so you can see your aircraft's elevators, (3) click on your internet browser to make it the active window, and (4) move your flight controller up and down. Anybody else have CTD on main menu? Not on Beta but when I pause the sim with Escape then the Sim will crash / CTD. Like the whole 4 hour flight before that moment everything ok......

I bought this plane through Marketplace and have installed version 2.1.1. I have watched videos where the two GTC units operate independently. In my plane when I do something one it does exactly the same on the other. On the bottom of the GTC screen the Pane box in both are blue,the same color. In the vidios I watched they had one pane box blue and the other was purple. Can anyone help. Thanks Paul

Hi, Need help from real pilots Montreal area VFR chart. Couple of questions. Using skyvector. First thing is what are the numbers under the Airport names. Hi All I have just updated the Fenix to the new version and now the squawk code wont change. It does still work in terms of Squawk mode C and Ident but whatever number you press 2000 remains the static default number Any ideas? Have restarted the Sim and run the installer again just to be sure Thanks Matt
