Microsoft Flight Simulator (2020/2024)

Hey guys, Just wondering if others see the same thing here... at times I'm at the gate and part of the Jetway is completely missing! Usually the part that connects to the terminal... just a small part sticking out..... large gap... then the rest! Happens on default scenery so is this just a default thing or does GSX mess things up here? (Cant really see why it would?)

For the very first time during my test flights in circuits from LPPT I have noticed a couple spikes near Tagus river on the northern margin (Lisbon area, near Belém - maybe due tothe Belém tower or the Discoveries Monument?), departing south from LPPT 20. As I approached the spikes they flattened. Is this some sort of typical bug in MFS scenery rendering? Are there any remedies for this sort of bug? I have photogrammetry ON as well as Bing.

These days I was flying with Fenix A320 from LEBL to EDDS and I was in the middle of a strong turbulence, I was thinking to tone down to medium or low the turbulence slider as advice from the Fenix team. But I didn't do anything because the liners sometimes have strong turbulence problems. Today I found this video that reveals strong turbulences in the same area and in the same time I was flying, so no medium or low, just realistic turbulence for me.

This has been bugging me for a fair while. I finally found the fix on a Discord (ugh!) channel from CaptKennintong (many thanks) ... I hope he doesn't mind me reposting it here. It was the Beta/UTF checkbox thing that did it for me: CaptKennintong - Jan '21 SOLVED!!! In FSX and P3D once you had have finished a flight you were able to quit the sim and save the exact location (where you had parked on the airfield) and the settings on your aircraft after you had shut it down. This was very useful when you were taking a long flight of several days and several stopovers and wished to restart your aircraft where it was previously and in the exact condition/settings. Is it possible to do this in MSFS? I know you can start a new flight and if you know the parking location name where you left your craft you can start the flight at the location in the cold/dark mode, presumably as you would have left it. But this lacks the feeling of continuity…

For some time now I have been having ever degrading performance. Long and frequent stutters. Every flight, regardless. I thought it was GSX, uninstalled it, same issue. Uninstalled Flow Pro, same issue. Cleared out NVIDIA DX/DL folders, set NCP to default. Same issue. Looked through my settings and saw that Off Screen Terrain Pre-caching was set to high. Changed it to Low and the severe stuttering stopped. My rolling cache is always turned off. What does everyone else use for this setting?

Hi, Good day everybody I am using Addon Linker to link the addons from the Official Folder to save space on my disk. But, when entering the Custom Official folder and MSFS Official folder, a warning says: "...The folder storing the official add-ons can not be a subfolder of one your normal addons folder! Just tried to download an airport from this site, and doesn't seem to work. I understood after they modified the site there have been problems. Does anyone know if they have been able to sort things out?

When I ran MSFS 2020 last night I attempted to install an update but it got interrupted. When I attempt to restart MSFS it is stuck in "checking for updates". How do I fix this? I tried googling "MSFS 2020 stuck in "checking for updates". One solution starts with "Open your Microsoft Flight Siimulator folder. Only problem is I can't find it! Whee he heck it is? IN any case I need help to fix this problem!

I am using the Duckworth mod for the DC-3 and flying the Retro panel. When using the Auto Pilot the NAV and APPROACH functions do not work on mine. Is this normal, or is anyone able to use these functions? Thanks

My 737 suddenly started displaying strange stickers on the fuselage ? No MODs installed. Only addons are Fenix and the PMDG... Any ideas? Thx!

I use a CH Products Yoke, Throttle Quadrant, and Rudder Pedals. Since i use the Throttle Quadrant, I am not using the three levers and axis on the CH Yoke. Is there a way to asign them to say flaps, speed brake, slats? Those all require definite set points, I think. Thanks

Hi, I recently found out that the FBW a320 has noswheel steering and so far it’s really good and helpful.Now that I started flying the fenix a320 more, I was wondering if it has nosewheel steering as well? And if it does, do I have to assign anything in the controls options?

I have had an interesting problem ever since I installed the Fenix A320 V2. The Autopilot works perfectly fine except I can't push or pull things like the Heading Mode and Vertical Speed mode. I can turn them like normal using my mouse but I can't push/pull the button's. I scroll over the buttons and I can get the little arrow up or arrow down but when I click any mouse button nothing happens. The arrows sort of blink like they don't know what is going on. It has been a long while since I flown the Fenix A320 but got back into it when V2 was released. Push/Pull used to work just fine on older builds but not V2. I actually don't think its Fenix but perhaps some…

Hello guys, I thought I'd post this in this forum as the only reason I signed up to the Microsoft Store in the first place was to purchase MSFS, and maybe someone here has had the same problem in the past and can help. I have been using MSFS since the very early betas without any problems on my old Windows 10 pc. I could download any app updates through the store very quickly and easily. A few days ago I got a new computer with Windows 11 as the operating system, and now when trying to update my library of apps via the Store, although signed in with the same username and password, it takes forever to start any downloads.
