Microsoft Flight Simulator (2020/2024)

Tried to start 2020 this morning and[MSFS-Message.jpg](https://postimg.cc/2q1snM7W) am getting this message. I rebooted my Router and Modem for the internet and still get this message. Could this be an Xbox issue? I use a PC and I don't use Xbox. Message is " Authentication service is unreachable. Please check your internet connection. Online services will be unreachable until the issue is resolved."

Hello - Not sure what's going on. but over the last few days, I can't complete a flight without a CTD at some point before arrive. I rarely over got these up until now. Just now, in PMDG 737, enroute from EGAC to EIDW, about 20 miles from EIDW. I am not sure what is going on, but hardware shouldn't be an issue. Any ideas? Here are my specs: Intel Core i7-11700F @ 2.50Ghz, Nvidia GeForce RTX 3060 @12GB, 32GB RAM DDR4, and no overclocking. I'm using the latest GeForce Game Ready Driver 531.79. Thanks in advance. Hello I've installed FS2020 from DVD and it appears to be working, although it always asks me to have Disk1 in the drive before it will run. Is there any way to avoid this please? I am connected to the internet and always logged in to my microsoft account, so why does it need the disk to validate my copy before running the software? Obviously if I'd downloaded FS2020 rather than installed it from DVD this wouldn't be an issue since I would have no discs. Thanks for your advice Robin

No simple VOR/DME flight can be made with the Fokker F28. The VOR beacons give no information but the DME information does. E.g. SPY (113.3) PAM (117.8). Not only the F28 but also other GA aircraft. MSFS/Asobo do something about this!

Hi all - I am just after a bit of advice regarding nose wheel steering in MSFS 2020 with the PMDG 737. I have recently converted over from P3D V5. I am finding it very difficult to make right turns with the tiller. I have it mapped to my Thrustmaster Airbus Side Stick on the twist axis. I am using the Thrustmaster Boeing Yoke for elevator and aileron control and Thrustmaster Rudder Pedals for Rudder and Brakes. I’ve read online that Nose Wheel steering in MSFS isn’t the best. Five (5) monitors spanning 180 for outside views and 2 PCs. The center monitor (straight ahead) is for the MSFS 2020 server (i7-4790K, RTX-2080 GPU). The other four (4) monitors are for the remaining (-90, -45, +45, +90 degrees) outside views (i7-9700K, RTX-3080Ti GPU). The LAN seems to handle the data traffic just fine (PCs using Ethernet cables through a managed switch). The problem is the inability to setup the displays for all four monitors oriented in their correct orientations. Hi This problem has only started since I installed GSX pro a few weeks ago, but it's affecting other sceneries so may just be its highlighting an issue I have. Sometimes when I start a flight everything loads for the initial few seconds, then I will loose the safedock info injected by GSXpro (I always use gate 512 at EGLL where I am based in sim bit worlds - a pilots life). When the safedock info disappears I notice I can no longer see aircraft traffic (injected by FSTL), but can hear ATC for the traffic via FSHud, the model of the airports also drops low. Thought I'd give people a heads-up about DLAA, if they weren't familiar with it. It has become my go-to AA choice because it's so crisp and works fantastic with further sharpening from ReShade (With MSFS' own sharpening disabled of course) DLAA uses the same machine learning algorithm as DLSS to improve the image but it does it all at native resolution, meaning no blurring from the upscaling process. So you're left with a crisper image that is an improvement over TAA alone. However, that also means you don't get the performance benefits from the DLSS upscaling process. - Make sure you use the correct option. You want the DLAA under the DLSS selection…

From what I have read in the several threads about the new Safe Mode, for some users it appears every time they start MSFS. For others it does not. I am one of those where it does not appear. However, on a hunch, and a couple of hints from those posting, it appears that those having the issue were using a desktop (or start menu) short cut to start MSFS. Whereas I was using the Steam client (system tray icon) to start MSFS. So, I found the flightsimulator.exe file and created a shortcut for it on my desktop. Hi, Im getting these HUGE frame drops and dont know why. After the drop the frames would jump back up to a nice fluid experience. For exmaple on the Fenix when I load the fuel and passengers thru the EFB the frames would tank just by doing that...I have video showing these frames drops. I have turned off Vpilot and FSLTL injector which I only use for static planes set to "3". You can fast forward on some parts but I placed a big frame counter on the top so it can be easly seen. Can't even access a2a forum which is annoying to say the least to report this probelm. Tried updating to 1.2 ...wont update as I get error... manually took out of community folder and then reinstall as advusd on a2a forum. Won't reinstall as it says to remove through apps Uninstaller. Tried that and get another error as it says it could not remove the input configuration link...so Iam completely stuck. Actually I am word not allowed off and want a refund as I have never so much trouble installing updates of an aircaft in 20 years of simming .

Hi all I have been wondering about something for a while about the Fenix A320 performance. I have capped my fps in the sim to 30. Whenever i fly the Fenix my GPU fans are a little loud spinning with about 1500-1800 rpm in average for the whole flight, which annoys me. If i fly the PMDG 737 or FBW A320 my GPU fans are very silent spinning with about 1000 rpm for the whole flight. And my temps are higher when flying the Fenix, so it makes sense why my fans are spinning with higher rpm in that plane. My CPU and case fans are also spinning a little higher when i fly the Fenix, while the PMDG and FBW planes doesnt spin as high. I have tried to mess with the fan curves but…

I upgraded my DLSS file and now I have this in the lower left of my screen. Is there a way to get rid of that?

I’ve been having a strangest issue with my FPS. Ever since today I started struggling with an intermittent FPS loss which doesn’t seem to be a result of any particular issue. Everything worked just fine yesterday and I’d been able to maintain a stable 30fps on my 3070, running 1440p. All of a sudden today FPS seem to tank sometimes just after the launch, at times a few minutes later. They stay around 10-12, which is virtually unplayable and then sometimes come back to normality, only to go down again and stay there for good. It’s almost impossible to finish any flight. Could that be related to the fact that Live Weather is broken again? Has anyone had a similar issue? …

Howdy, Does anyone know what is going on with the CG of the Cessna Citation CJ4? I have to remove the pilot and the copilot to move the CG back. If I put 1 200 pound people in the pilot & co-pilot seat it's like I added 1000lbs each for the pilot & co-pilot. Thanks & Happy Landings
