Microsoft Flight Simulator (2020/2024)

I started MSFS and it did an update of like 22G. I made sure it was pointing to my actual install location which it was. I finally load in and all of my camera, graphics, keyboard bindings etc are complete gone. I've disabled all of my addons (addonlinker), signed in and out of xbox, restarted my PC etc and nothing is working. Any ideas on how I should proceed? Regards

OK, I've been around for quite a while, so I feel a little embarrassed at having to ask this ... I've kinda let it go over the years and not bothered so much with it, but now I take my simming in the 738 more seriously, I think it's about time I got to the biottom of things. For the life of me I can never get the times in the real world (GMT) to match the time in the FMC of the PMDG 738. So effectively what I do, is match the time in the real world (GMT) to the time in the sim, but even if I set it UTC it never matches what is displayed in the FMC, even after setting the chronometer/clock on the MIP. I did read that there is a bug that creates this anomoly, but not sure. …

On some high alt airliner flights I sometimes like to see how the places I fly above looks from ground level. Long story short, is there an option to get the camera to ground level just below the aircraft location at a press of a button ? and to be static and not follow the aircraft while going at 500kt 🙂

I have tried setting up several MSFS IFR Low Altitude flights with ILS approaches into the destination runway, in 3 different aircraft that used to fly ILS approaches without issues, but I have had no success. In one case the flight plan had a "T" junction, & in the other 2, the STARS path was not logical. I did get 1 runway where an aircraft followed an ILS approach but coming through at 2,700", then 1,800', in neither case would it hook on to the descent path although GS was showing on the PFD. Anyone else having flight plan ILS approach set up issues? T45

Quick check of the area shows the scenery to be very well done and performance seems to be pretty good. Excellent rendition. One miss so far is that the ERGLs are missing. Developers seem to have a really hard time with these for some reason. They seem to have the in-pavement ones in. My North America tour is about to take me up into Canada. Going very slowly over the US, Google seems to be the clear overall winner for best imagery. For users of the enhancement mod familiar with Canada, any recommendations for best choice there?

Hi , i havent really used these functions but after some time in the Comanche i tried enable the stuff in the assistant area. I have a toggle smart cam to my Hotas and a next POI button as well but really cant get it to work. Yes the toggle smartcam shows whats behind me all the time so cant really see it but otherwise i found it problematic. Anyone with some insight? Also , is there any better ressource than the MSFS world screen you use? Sorry , i am a little rusty with GA VFR. Thanks Michael Moe

Currently using FSLTL for VATSIM and love it. Heard good things about FST and wondered whether anyone has comparative experience with both packages. Cost of FST not an issue in this case. Interested in overall experience, availability of liveries, product update frequency etc. VATSIM use only, not bothered with live traffic or other AI traffic angst. erich

Restart MSFS if you don't see it in the MSFS marketplace (I'm reading people in the beta aren't seeing the ATR available in their marketplace). Also, LondonController is streaming the ATR now on his Twitch stream.

Hi , I have just bought a new PC with windows 11 and i am currently setting up the new PC with MSFS 2020. Last year i bought 3 airport downloads from Windows store and i want to download them on to my new PC but i can find the invoice and order numbers, But there is no link or any help to down load on to the new PC. If i go into show deatails , It just shows me the invoice , I cannot find away to contact windows store Can anyone help me with this? Hello guys! I'm swiching the FS2020 from MS store version to Steam version and I want to copy all my control and view profile to the Steam version. After a quick search I realized that the control profile are stored in the cloud for MS store version, so can I export them and import them into the steam? Thank you.

Hi, Ive been using MSFS for over 2 yrs now (and flightsimming for >20yrs), in all weathers and multiple planes. But yesterday blew me away. I saw a RAINBOW replicated as I was flying at about 6000 ft. Okay I might be easily impressed but I found that truly astonishing. Has anyone seen an aurora ?

Since the AAU update, I've been flying the 787 on single sector long haul flights. Today, I did a European return EGLL-LGSR-EGLL Arriving at LSGR, the airport was full of aircraft and even during the return LSGR-EGLL flight, the skies were full of aircraft. But, on landing at EGLL, not a single aircraft at the airport. No static or taxiing...nothing! What's going on?
