There had been a couple of threads months ago on this and interesting posts on the Comanche 1.1 thread but it bears multiple topics now. I have a fairly good idea of what a 750 is, had one in P3D, but less on how the two products compare. I installed the free PMS version, read the two manuals and watched a couple of You Tube which were very moderately informative. I suppose that very few of you have both but you can see what is possibly missing in yours. I am now focusing on two specific questions : 1/ How good, complete is the Utilities page, specially VNAV, Trip Planning, Fuel planning, DALT/TAS Winds functionalities. 2/ the Data base The …

I was thinking today, getting ready for my second flight this morning in the Comanche, that whenever I get to the entrance to the runway, I always do an engine runup, in fact, I wouldn't even think about taking off without doing that. It is just the training I had when I got my PPL many years ago, kicking in I guess, because flying the Comanche is so similar to flying a real aircraft, at least for me.

Following on from the M20R a couple of weeks back the Carenado CT182T is now available outside the Marketplace as well. I have read that EDDB v2 has massive fps issues and according to what I have read ground textures are poor like in FSX. It is true has these issues been fixed? Considering buying it.

Any info out there? I have written an mail to them over a week ago, but haven't gotten any response yet. Maybe I am just not soo smart, since I have been waiting for it since their announcement 2 years ago. SimWings looks good too, however, if they keep the detail and new technology as in the new LOWI scenery it would be worth waiting, I guess. However, we just even don't know if it will ever be released or if they are working at it at all. LEBL the same, announced at their webpage, but nothing else.

I have just purchased the above airport from the MSFS Market place and would like to remove the static aircraft which is included with the scenery. I have been on a site which sates the following. I have been struggling to get crisp gauges while still maintaining solid frame rates. Running DX12 and DLSS resulted in solid FPS and smooth gameplay, but it came at the cost of not having sharp gauges. Even if I selected TAA I was still not able to get crisp gauges. In Nvidia Control Panel selecting DSR Factors made things a bit sharper, but it wasn't crisp enough. Thanks to a post on Reddit I was able to finally get the visual quality I was looking for. Got notification of new update for XEnviro. I downloaded and installed it. Clouds looks bad, and looks like MSFS weather is still better. Some day......weather will be primo?

I really like the aircraft except for the "737" style touch down smoke, it is way to big. I replaced the effects section with the default C172 in the aircraft.cfg but to no avail. Any suggestions ?

Since the update 1.1. I have an issue having the Garmin 530 (in a 530/430 combo) in GPS mode driving the CDI or rather not driving the CDI. No problem with VLOC so far. To activate the CDI, I have to toggle between VLOC and GPS. No big deal. But the last flight, Bristol EGGD to Land's End EGHC RNAV 25 the deviation bar showed the deviation to the desired track but wouldn't move even when the CDI red flag was off. Any one of you having seen the same ? Checking before reinstalling 1.1.

Wondering why I am getting these shapes in my scenery.

I am trying to learn VFR navigation and in some aircraft I miss a handy timer or stopwatch to time the flightplan legs. Does anyone know of an in-cockpit (I only fly VR) mod with this functionality?

All of a sudden, my bridges all are solid dark objects from the road surface down to the water. Seems to me this was a problem early on but was resolved with one of the updates. I have been playing with the Graphics adjustments in the main menu. Is there one item in the Graphics section that may clear this up? Thanks

Hello Gang! Looking to purchase a decent VABB scenery addon for MSFS. I see there are two; one made by MSK and another one produced by ProjectMAX. Any recommendations of one vs the other would be appreciated. Thanks a bunch Dennis

Community, I thought it would be AWESOME-GREAT-COOL to start a thread focused on the release date of MS2024 for GA, Alpha and Beta. So, any insights in stead of 2024? Tim

The Hype H145 relies fairly extensively on the EFB tablet attached to the cockpit console. It seems a lot of AP functions are activated there. Is that realistic? A quick look at real H145 cockpits shows no such EFB tablet. So how do the real helicopters activate some of these AP functions that are currently in the tablet? Anyone have any insights?

Could someone please take a minute and explain to me where/how I get airport maps so I can see taxiways, etc? I want to learn to follow instructions given by ATC but I don't know where to get the airport maps so I can look them up. Thanks

I think I have seen videos saying to click on a clickspot behind me, but I find no clickspot there. Of course I have moved the handle to open. Also to me it seem that MSFS lacks any key command for open the door (canopy) at least I find no.

Doing a tour of Greece and flying over the Peloponnese overheated hills from Kefallinia to Sparta, I almost got airsick🤢 with the turbulences worsened by 26 knots gusts 😄 ! Correcting the gyro drift (didn't forget this time), manipulating the STEC at turning points were... interesting too ! A great feeling to be here, like a cork in a stream.

Im confused with the oil. On the oil lid it says SAE 50, SAE 30 and SAE 20. But in the tablet where I can change it, they are called 100AW, 20W-50 and 25W-60… So im confused wich one corresponds to the type marked on the oil lid…??
