Microsoft Flight Simulator (2020/2024)

So, I bought the Carenado Piper PA34 Senaca and the Piper PA41 Seminole from the Marketplace. Both very well-done planes, but I cannot get the center of gravity to be within allowances. No matter what I do, from no gas and people to full everything, the CG remains aft of the allowable aft position. I have tried every conceivable combination but no joy. Anyone else seeing this? Anyone have a suggestion on how to fix this? Thanks

I am getting some hard sutters and freezes on final in beta 10 last update. I swear people are coding it: If final = True and threshold is <4000 yrds Then add "Stutttttttttttter" End Back in the old day FS98 there were runways that reduced the LOD on final to make the landing smooooooth. Why can this not be done now? Make it a slider in the config and let me decide. I just dont get it. So dang aggravating.

Welp, I was not going to buy it, but then I watched some videos and said, what the heck. Now I may be shunned for this, but I am not really a "study level" person. I just play the sim, fly around the world and more or less sight see. I finally did figure out how to get the 737 to be fully ready to go upon launching a flight with the FMC setting set to "RUNWAY". Great for me, as it makes it more like the base model planes in the game as far as loading up and going. One thing I can't figure out is why the flight plan in game does not seem to load into the FMC. Hello premium deluxe flyers, The Autothrottle functionality in the Citation Logitude is slightly obscured and is behind the throttle levers. One can see this when you hover slightly behind the Throttle levers and the Tooltip reads " Disengage Autohrottle" by default. However , the clickspot is ellusive and I tried several different places and Left click/right click near the throttles to "Disengage "and the "RE-engage " it. I wanted to manually adjust the "SPD" button on the AP console from "FMS to MAN" and set the speed at 250 knots and let the autothrottle take over. I have had NO LUCK doing this. I only started using Reshade recently because it looked too complicated. However, the GeForce Experience filters I had been using just wasn't quite giving me the results I wanted. I wouldn't be without it now after spending a few hours with it - there are just a few core filters required to get MSFS looking great. As well as getting the the sky, ground and lighting looking better, I just discovered several sharpening filters available. I turned off all sharpening in the NVCP, MSFS and set Sharpening=0 in the UserCfg.opt file. I am using a sharpening filter called LumaShapen [LumaSharpen.fx]. I have gone down the rabbit hole of DLSS, DSR Factors (nvidia control panel) and settings found in the UserCfg.opt file, so I wanted to share what I have found. For reference, I am running the beta and have a RTX 3080 running 2560 x 1440. Let's start with the basics. If you run DLSS in MSFS you have a few "Super Resolution" choices. - Quality - Balanced - Performance - Ultra Performance There's also Auto, but I didn't test that. Hello guys been a while form I have posted on here, Got back in to MSFS 2020 after a long break fsx 2004 was my last sim. Hope i have posted this in the right place. Anyway I have been flying the dasher TMB 390 But have turned on something in the PFD or MFD and don’t no how to get read of it. Does anyone know if we will have to run MSFS 2020 AND MSFS 2024 or will we simply have to uninstall 2020 and then install 2024? What I am effectively asking is "will we have to run both sims?" Anyone know?

Hello, some weird bug just happened with the fenix a320, after I pushed back using gsx the aircraft just started rolling on the ground at high speeds, I had my thrust set at idle the entire time and my parking brake was set as well. Not only was the aircraft rolling at high speeds it also seemed to go under the ground and I started to see red and black all over the screen. Is this an msfs bug or a fenix a320 problem? has anyone experienced this before? thanks

Three years after the release, I see with glee all these marvelous aircraft, the Comanche, the Fenix, the Spit’, the 737, the 310 etc., I also see a booming scenery industry. Freeware has never been so creative. Then I remember the despicable schadenfreude of those who predicted the death of a « greedy » cottage industry in 2019/20, I remember the wannabee guru who was adamant that the WASM and Xbox environment or whatever wouldn't allow complex addons. They’ve left the stage but reality rubbed their nose in their pee.

This might not be the place to complain, BUT I just purchase the Just Flight F4 pantom, It flies great etc. My problelm is the landing gear has little or NO compression which makes it almost impossible to land on the carriers!! I tried making it lighter by removing fuel etc.Might have helped a little bit! Anyone have any ideas on how to make it better. Thank you in advance. Mouse

I am finding that default ATC dont seem to care what direction I set wind at. ( I am not set to online weather.) The active runway never changes. 'They' dont seem to care about making me land in a strong tail wind. Is this normal practice for 'them'? I'm mindful of all the comments about the default ATC and is this one reason for it.

I’m putting a new 7800x3D system together this weekend. My first re-install of Windows 11 and MSFS in a few years. What Windows 11 settings etc do I need to change or confirm? HDR setup for sure. Game Mode? What else. Does anyone have or know of a checklist for getting a new MSFS install optimized?

Folks - I purchased the premium deluxe edition of flight simulator 2020, which is suppose to include the 787 jetliner. However, I have noticed that the plane is not included on the list. Any particular reason why this is the case?

I have tried all ways I can think of, but MSFS merely stretches one image across 3 monitors. For that reason I continue to use P3D on my Jetmax setup. P3d will put 3 different views on each screen to make an undistorted wide view. Are there plans to make this possible in MSFS?

Hi folks. About a week ago I read about installing a newer version of DLSS in the sim. I did that but now when I open the sim I see some display lines of text about the DLSS in the lower left of my screen. Is there a way to make those text lines go away? Thanks..........

I am really surprised nobody reported this, this morning. I tried to start a flight around 9:30 AM EST, and the sim wouldn't even load a flight. The menus would freeze, when it did load, the Fenix would be under ground. I thought it was my new keyboard, but it turned out users on the FS Discord, were reporting the same thing. Finally on the FS Site, they reported a problem, and around an hour later it was fixed. I was thinking I was going to have to reinstall MSFS for awhile. 😗

Quite a few new toys coming over the next few months. FBW A380 (Free) PMDG 777 Fenix V2 A320/A319/A321 Headwind V2 A330-900/-800/-300 (Free) Not to mention a new sim platform when the existing one would easily have sufficed for a number of years still In my 25 years of simming, I can't actually remember a better time.

Hi , i tried the pop out panels on the PMDG 737 and MaddogX and was able to drag them to tablets with great results. The performance is quite good allthough it cost me some fps on mostly noticing on approach. Is rhere a way to black out the VC panels you have pop out like i used to have in P3D? rendering the same panel twice seems to take a hit. Thanks Michael Moe
