I’ve always flown the tubes and love PMDG’s and Fenix’s efforts for MSFS. I’ve also always enjoyed the PilotEdge service, but having seen the praise for A2A’s release, I thought it was time to go back-to-basics and try some VFR flying. Looks like they fixed the issue with the pink textures. It also looks like this is the last update for the 737 series until the EFB is released. I'm still on 3.0.65, original installer. Has anyone tried 3.00.0071 & 3.00.0072 to see if the spool issue, LNAV turns etc have been resolved. I know many went back to .65 as the updates were buggy. I have an issue that whenever I am approaching some 3rd party airports once I get within range of the airport loading, the sim will freeze for 15-20 seconds. The sound continues and then everything will resume normally again. I went from an i7 6700k 2080 super to a ryzen 7900x and 4070ti and this issue still persists. Sim runs perfectly smooth except for this issue. Happens with AI on or off as well. All my MSFS settings are pretty modest for my system like LOD at 100 and most settings on high except clouds on ultra. I am completely stumped. RNAV approaches in the ATR (and I would venture to guess in all stock planes/systems) do not give you vertical guidance to the touchdown zone of the runway, but rather to the Airport Reference Point (ARP), which is usually halfway down the runway. So if you are on an RNAV approach with vertical guidance, on glidepath, on speed, rather than landing at the 1,000-foot markers, you land halfway down the runway. It's probably this way for all stock airplanes. Hello, I'm starting to run low on C. This happened when I started fiddling about with Manual Cache and set a cache size of 120GB. After having a play with it and not really seeing any difference in performance, I want to get rid of it, but it's now stuck at 120GB and I can't do anything to change it. I've deleted the couple of cached regions I created, but I can't change that cache size at all. Any help is most welcome. Thanks, Mike

Really enjoy the EMB-110 but recently, when I try to use this a/c, the cockpit tablet does not work and the, pilot side windshield wiper, is on and cannot be turned off. Has anyone else notice this problem? Not sure if it has anything to do with, perhaps an MSFS update or not. Really confused. Any help or suggestions would be appreciated.

It didnt take long, before I realized this plane does make most every other GA offering to date feel like a "toy". Just completed a simple VFR flight from KRFD to my home base at KPWK in fairly breezy conditions.Bounced around so perfectly I really felt like so many small flights Ive taken as PIC for years. As of now I really cant fly anything else....too bad spent a lot of dough.

Just tried to start a flight at KLAS--Live Weather selected, METAR shows OAT of 37 deg C, but Simconnect is reporting 16 deg C. Tried a couple different planes, saw the same bogus temp in the panels. Moved to KSMF...Live Weather METAR shows 40 deg C, Simconnect sends 20 deg C to the plane.

I just flew over the island of Terre-de-Haut in Guadeloupe expecting to see the POI of Fort Napoleon des Saintes and although the marker was there the model was not. I have World Update IV installed so am at a complete loss as to why this has not shown up. Anyone else having the same issue or have the answer to this puzzle?

The MSFS Wright Flyer is fascinating but I cannot control the engine power with my joystick. Is this intentional or does something have to be set? Brian Lumb

I have some regional or global add-ons like GAIST and marinas but whenever I do a flight, I go to Flightsim.to, search for scenery add-ons at my departure and destination, download it, apply it (using add-on manager) and do the flight. Then for the next flight, I remove the previous scenery, then rinse and repeat. That way, only relevant scenery is added at any given time. (Note I only use free scenery - never buy.) Is that what you guys are doing? Do you keep all scenery you’ve ever used in your community folder? Is there any impact to the sim if you’ve got a scenery pack added that’s not in your flight path? Is it best to keep your addon scenery minimal?

I will give my answer as NO but others may think otherwise. For starters I use LOD 150 and fly is spare areas like Alaska Which is part of the reason I get good frames at altitude in the HJet. I'm on the fence with Frame Gen but think that it could be useful but @ 90 FPS I'm happy. CPU is a 5900x which I'm also happy with. Panning is smooth as glass with no vsync. Also, DX12 is the best. I have failed to find some conclusive answers to my question, I'm sure they're out there, but it would be nice to hear from someone with first hand experience. I am currently using FSHud with FSLTL and want to move across to FSTraffic. Can anyone offer some advice regarding this? Cheers.

Whenever I leave EGGD there are usually at least 6 aircraft on the apron but when I return, there are never any. This also seems to happen when using the default EGGD so I'm guessing some kind of issue with FSLTL. Can anyone suggest what might be going on or suggest a fix? It doesn't seem to happen at any other airports where you would expect to find traffic.

Going to be out of town a lot and would like to pass some of the time with the Sim. What laptops are strong enough to run the Sim with excellent quality and frame rate?

Afternoon everyone, Post WU14 I appear to be suddenly limited by my main thread. I am not totally convinced this has occurred in conjunction with WU14 as no one else appears to be having such issues. I have not had an issues with main thread limitation before and I have tried a variety of things to fix it, all detailed below. Firstly, my PC Specs are: i9-9900KF CPU, 32.0 GB RAM, GTX3080 NVIDEA Graphics Card For a routine flight I nearly always fly the Fenix a320 with the following add on's/background apps. Volanta, Pegasus (ACARS), FS Realistic, Self Loading Cargo, GSX, FSLTL or VPilot (vatsim). My GPU will rarely exceed 50% usage and RAM usually sits…
