FS realistic, seasons enhancers, fsuipc, LittleNavMap, GoFlight modules with MSFS, haptic chair apps, etc. In the "Goflight hardware and FSX solution in ms2024" thread, Chocorua mentioned editing exe.xml file to force MSFS to load other programs when it starts. https://www.avsim.com/forums/topic/637252-goflight-hardware-and-fsx-solution-in-ms2024/ The following is an example from another forum: https://forums.flightsimulator.com/t/start-multiple-programs-on-msfs-startup-with-this-exe-xml-tip/350698 I haven't tried yet, I suppose once it's edited correctly to do what you want to do, then it works forever saving you time, every time.

  2. Got a new issue where after loading a scenario I intermittently get a CTD after hitting ready to fly, if I don't hit ready to fly the game runs fine. Checking event viewer it points to NTDLL.DLL. The crash isn't related to any particular addon or location it seems completely random but happens 50%+ of time I've updated my GPU drivers, ran SFCScan now and, made sure windows is up to date. Any thoughts? Thanks

Just wondering which models are in base pack. I've seen 2 videos on Youtube where one had really old displays with no autoland capability but another had more modern EFIS/ND etc. and autoland. So can you simply choose old or modern cockpits for the MD82 ? Thnx for advices.

  6. Hi there, just a quick heads up. We've recently made some improvements to the loading and stringing of departure procedures for the Development Version. SIDs that were missing an altitude terminated leg, or failed to load at all, particularly when using the default MSFS navigation database, are now loading correctly. Happy flying!

Because other flying boast in MSFS don't have Victorian wallpaper... or 12 engines.

  8. What I mean is that, once above the clouds, you can clearly detect a 'grid' like an invisible chessboard on which the clouds are drawn similar to the repetitive ground textures in FSX. So you could actually deduce in which direction you are heading as well. Has this always been there or has something been compromised along the way during an update? In the early days of MSFS 2020 I was really excited about the wheather but it did not take long before i noticed a substantial absence of clouds above, say FL250. Perhaps this grid has always been there but i doubt it. Today, I am still looking at mainly cumulus type clouds at most levels and looking at the MSFS2024 p…

  10. https://fselite.net/content/pmdgs-737-livery-packs-released-on-marketplace Having received nearly $140 on the -700 and -800 from some people, PMDG are now expecting Xbox (and some PC) users to pay nearly $20 on livery packs. While some will defend this practice as smart monetising of their endeavours, I consider PMDG to be following in a similar path to Captain Sim. Want a livery pack that covers one particular continent? Nope. Want a livery pack that contains all the cargo operators or all the BBJ operators? Nope. Want a KLM, GOL or United livery on your -800? Nope. Want to have -700 and -800 liveries based on your favourite airline in one pack? Nope. …

https://fselite.net/content/horizon-simulations-announces-the-787-9-for-msfs/ Sounds like a pretty ambitious project for the 789, obviously a bit away though but something to look forwards to in the future hopefully. I’d love to see a VSD on the 78 and more of the integrated EFB functions like landing performance and possibility chart integration and a moving map/en route chart. `The work WT have done in AAU2 (and are continuing to do in the beta) for the asobo 787 is quite frankly amazing though. Fingers crossed for route download to the FMC also.

  12. Hi, I recently flew the flybywire a320 and it was really good except for one thing. When I started my descend, I selected my desired altitude and started a managed mode descend. Usually other aircraft descended at about 1800-2300 feet per minute but this aircraft straight up started to go 4500-5000 ft per minute. Obviously I reach my altitude too early and I had to hold my flight level for a few minutes, before starting the descent again. I was wondering, am I doing anything wrong, is there any solution to this? ps: in the fenix a320 I did the same thing and it worked perfectly.

  13. Started by El Diablito,

I finally bought this last night and took a job flying A320s with Viva Air Peru. 1st flight was a doozy, out of Lima into Cusco, at night, during a thunderstorm! Just one problem really, after a spectacular RNAV approach to rw28 - when I was parked up at the gate, APL still showed that I was in the transition to descent phase. When I shut the aircraft down (once the passengers deboarded) and went back to the main menu of the sim, its showed I was on Taxi-In and it remained stuck there before I shut down the whole thing. It wouldn't let me look at the flight report or submit my flight as you need to be in the post-flight phase for this to happen. Pretty frustrating. …

As the title states, I have planes in white liveries at the gates. I don't have any addon traffic on, and the settings in the sim are all down to zero. I do use FSLTL and that is when I first noticed it. I thought it was something in their app but it wasn't. So I started the sim without the traffic and the white liveries are still there. What gives? 18. Started by Gilles Boily,

After a failed MSFS installation on a different drive in that case E: drive I restarted the process by formatting the disk C and reinstalling Windows 10 ver 22H2. This time I install MSFS on the main disk C the problem is that on the E: drive I have 2 remaining directories named Program Files and WindowsApps. I have tried to remove those 2 directories without success. If I format the disk they are still there and if I want to delete I don't have permission. I am not sure but I think those 2 directories where installed by Xbox. My new installation works great and I don't want to take the risk of damaging things. Anyone who has an answer I will be glad to ear Thank yo…

Hello everybody, I have a question about the PMDG 737 spoilers. When I land they extend, but once I stow my reversers they go down, how do I make keep them extended like it is IRL? Sometimes they stay up (rarely) and most of the time they go down on their own.

  20. Started by sudqui,

Good morning guys, which flight simulator 2020 updates do you think are the necessary and essential ones without having to update everything? I say this because it has happened to me on several occasions that after some update the simulator has started to fail. I'm going to format my computer's disk since lately the simulator always turns off after a couple of hours of flight. That's why when I reinstall the flight simulator I would only like to update it in the essentials. Can you advise me to make the new installation as efficient as possible? Regards.

A layman's question... Is there any practicable benefit, relative to MSFS user experience performance, in switching from Windows 10 to 11? Mine is a I7 8700k (4,7 GHz) / 32GB / 1080 ti system with a 49" g9 monitor. All of my flights are GA VFR with the occasional light corporate mission. Any advice in "layman's language" are really appreciated, Many thanks everyone, Brian
