I love the way that I can set up different approaches with FSiPanel. I have just completed my first attempt at the circle to land approach to runway 27 at LGSM Samos, and I was rather proud of myself. Heading of 359 degrees from 9nm south of the Samos VOR, a right turn to 040 degrees at 4nm south of the VOR, and then the circle to land (using the harbour as a reference point). FSiPanel rated it as a perfect landing, although that was not quite right. I was perfectly level at touchdown (which was 406 metres from the threshold; a bit further down than I normally like to be), the landing rate was 127 fpm, and I was perfectly on the centreline. However, the landing speed was …

I have contacted the FSHUD support team several times without getting a response. Here is their response. I'll let you judge the effectiveness of the support and their rudeness! copy of our exchange by message : FSHUD / Message from support team: Hello, Usually tickets are answered during 24 hours. In other companies like Aerosoft it may take up to week. So I will not call it "bad support" as you've broadcasted in YouTube comments. Basically we don't need users like you in Alpha - it was mentioned for more respectful users who has some knowledge with the application. Therefore you should wait for public beta. Thank you My answer…

Hi folks. I have had MSFS 2020 since it came out. But to be honest I have never really learned how to fly. I have some training classes (FS Academy) and some other stuff but I am wondering if there is a good course somewhere that will teach me the entire end to end process for being a VFR only flyer. By that I mean from creating a proper flight plan, getting that plan into a VFR plane, setting up the autopilot stuff as appropriate, taking off and landing, etc. etc. Any sort of complete end to end training? Maybe I should add that I am only talking about using MSFS, not becoming a real pilot. Thanks.

Anyone else getting all kinds of odd electrical/hydraulic/Icing faults after SU13? If I load the ATR and choose "Ready for Taxi" there are a litany of faults that I can't seem to get rid of. This was never an issue prior to me updating this morning. It's as if the Generators aren't working...only way to eliminate the errors is to keep the External power on.

Now that the hype train is at full speed towards destination overload I got to thinking about areas that are of concern, as with *any* gaming title there's gonna be shortfalls, drawbacks, issues, bugs etc on release and in the months after, that is to be expected. But what we have here is a recent history lesson to guide us to areas that have been below par with the previous title that can be of slight concern for the new title. I'll preface this by saying I'm not looking for issues, I'm looking for improvement in these areas, there's nothing wrong with that before the local Defenders Of The Peace start pointing out what's been said in this interview or what that streamer…

Some info here from a pre-release news posting a few days ago. The aircraft is in the marketplace as of 26 September 2024. Features realistic systems, visuals, and flight dynamics, as well as some systems sounds. Engine sounds are default. Update/"patch" to show visible weapons on pylons should be coming in days. https://www.aviasimhd.com/mig-25-foxbat-coming-soon-to-msfs-marketplace/3435/

I've been trying for a few days now and I cannot see how to bind the change cockpit view in the india foxtrot echo Tornado to a key (or, say, Ctrl+key), from copilot (rear seat) and back again, other than using the drop down menu in game to change camera view. Which is a pain. I haven't done much experimenting with camera views, I've always just used my mouse so I'm definitely a beginner is assigning camera views. Can anybody help

The Citation Longitude is one of my favorite birds in MSFS. Couldn't find much about it on YouTube until now. The real bird cruises at .84, good luck doing that in the FS version.

Today Phil Spencer (Microsoft Gaming CEO) had his traditional speech at Tokyo Game Show (video below for those who care to watch), and he had a sizable segment about MSFS 2024, reminding that the first World Update presented at TGS2020 was Japan. Then he said that the MSFS team has "more cool content planned for Japanese players in the future." I certainly would appreciate greatly a refresh of the World Update Japan since it's pretty old by now. Especially Tokyo's photogrammetry is from 2014 (ask me how I know lol). Incidentally, he also mentioned that the Japanese audience for MSFS has "grown significantly" since.

Hey guys Just wondering if any of you are having inconsistent fps . My system is a 7950X3d 3080ti 6000mhz ram 32gb 850w psu M2 ssd 4k hdr tv 49inch lg Doing a flight from yssy to ymml Using auto fps, max 300 at 3000ft While crusing my frames are at 30 then it drops to 15 stays there and then back to 30 and keeps doing this for duration of flight. Yet still smooth. But before it has been rock solid at 30fps the whole flight Ive checked my hardware and drivers and all seem ok. And also no overheating Thanks Mike

Great reality check & v2024 summary from Sergio. He might be a helo guy, but he's pretty smart, anyway 😉 https://www.helisimmer.com/articles/6-things-community-getting-wrong-msfs2024 If you don't know him, he's fairly prominent in the rotary wing sim community and was an attendee at the recent media preview event for v2024. Very reasonable and level headed guy.

Hi there! I am a beginner simmer and have begun to discover Simbrief! I currently use the FBW A320neo and the PMDG 737-600 and love to do snowy landings and use the custom MSFS weather. However, (this is a crime I'm sure) I like to use the auto land systems as I'm on an Xbox controller currently and find landing very difficult. Anyway, when I use the auto land using live weather & my Simbrief plan, the auto lands are smooth and look excellent. But, when I use custom MSFS weather the plane lands at funny angles and sometimes doesn't flare at all! (Even in 0 wind landings) So I am guessing that the plan from Simbrief doesn't like the in-sim custom weather. Is…

Hey there, is it possible to load a company route in the Fenix A320 MCDU I've exported via PFPX before and saved locally on my PC (like I used to do with the PMDGs since like 20 years since FS2004 was released)? Mainly because the lack of features, I don't want to use simbrief and stick to PFPX. For the PMDGs, I just export a .rte file to C:\Users\user\AppData\Local\Packages\Microsoft.FlightSimulator_8wekyb3d8bbwe\LocalState\packages\pmdg-aircraft-738\work\Flightplans, load it in the sim by just giving the FMC like LGHIEICK01 and I'm finished. For the Airbus, I'm looking for a similar way to load a route into the MCDU without typing every single waypoint prior …

I think it's been awhile since a comparison topic was made about these two products. A couple of years ago, I bought 1 year of the PMS50, and last year updated to the unlimited version. I also bought the TDS some time ago as well. Since the TDS was pretty much on par with RealityXP gauges, I was really hopeful that it would be just as good -- and it was. The only issue I had with the TDS was the limited Navdata and the performance hit. I liked the PMS50 because any weird/custom airports that either didn't exist IRL, or various bush strips that didn't have a designated ICAO would show up as long as the airport was in your community folder. Creating a "waypoint" using the T…

Hi All, I just picked up a TCA Airbus Throttle used for a really good price, I have it configured in the sim and calibrated through the Fenix MCDU. I still have my Honeycomb Bravo throttle which I was using previously, Does anyone know if the Fenix only stores one hardware calibration at a time? I was just wondering because if I ever wanted to use my Bravo throttle instead would the previous calibration be stored or would it have been overwritten by the TCA calibration. I did ask this over at the Fenix Discord but never got a reply. I have a feeling I would have to calibrate the Bravo again if I decided to use it, I am just not sure. Thanks in advance

... move around from core to core dynamically per the Windows Scheduler, or is it fixed to one particular core? Again, 7800X3D. ChatGPT suggests the former, I always thought it was Core0 on this CPU based on watching utilization by core over the years. This question is posed as I am flying the Longitude to KTEX right now and am amazed at its sophisticated avionics and yet Core0 which usually hovers around 74-84% with the premium airliners and yet on the Longitude is a paltry 14-16% flying over Denver. That's stunningly less and yet again it's got a lot going on in it, the Longitude. Is it correct to say because of this CPU's big L3 cache there really isn't signi…
