I decided to give the Airbus A320neo (V2) a try, but can't seem to find a key binding to the overhead panel. I normally fly the 737 and ATR, and can access the overhead with a Ctrl+ number key combination. The default A320neo also has this capability. How do V2 flyers quickly access the overhead? Thanks..

Ok, first question: What are the differences between the standard, deluxe, deluxe premium, and aviator versions (aside from cost)? Question 2: Is the learning curve as extremely high as MSFS2020? 2020 was such a radical departure from FS2004/FFSX that it is difficult in the extreme to learn how to use (at least it has been for me!). Question 3: Have they returned to the FS2004/FSX keyboard commands (the major problem with leaning to fly 2020 is the fact that they completely did away with the 2004/FSX keyboard commands!). Question 4: Are all my 2020 aircraft and scenery addons compatible with 2024 (or am I going to have to throw out all of my 2020 addons…

I have seen a little bit of how this is done on Avsim and that other forum. But before I go down this route, there were a couple of questions that the posts I read never really answered: Is the Spacedesk solution a resource hog? Does using Spacedesk create lag in LNP? Is a tablet even necessary with a pop out window now available in MSFS? Any LNM to tablet users out there that can offer some advice on this? Should I go for tablet or pop out window (if that is indeed a workable solution since I have no idea?). Thanks Guys. Cheers Terry

The list of slow moving developers being penalized for moving too slow in MSFS is growing. I guess this is a testament to the increased competition and increased number of 3rd party developers all fighting to release a decent fidelity airplane before they are beaten by another developer in MSFS. Aerosoft has become another victim of slow development in MSFS with their A330 fiasco yesterday. Aerosoft announced the A330 for MSFS back in January of 2021. And the assumption is, they started working on it before their announcement. So they had over 3 years to complete a mid tier A330 but couldn't even reach that before they released yesterday. Another example is FSLa…

Introducing the Grumman J2F Duck for MSFS. The Duck was a single-engine, biplane amphibious aircraft used by all branches of the U.S. armed forces from the mid-1930s through World War II. This aircraft is a full native conversion from a model developed for FSX, originally created by Paul Domingue, and given permission by said author to convert for use in MSFS. Many updates, modifications, and features have been made to the original model, including: Conversion to MSFS texture format, improved modelling and animations, flight model and engine configuration updates, systems and lighting updates, new components (i.e. ADF radio, munitions, etc.), and updated sounds and …

Since, yesterday after FSLTL update, Navdata update, Fenix update, Everytime I start flight in Fenix a320 at any airport, initially I get audio stutter like cracking noise, video stutter, if I try to turn angle view or change to outside view, video freezes. It takes at least few minutes to load gsx. Sometimes msfs just shuts. Sometimes, after a few minutes, stutter and freeze disappear and then everything runs smoothly. No idea why.

Hi, as the title says, the sim gets stuck at 4/5 loading into a flight after I press "Fly". I tried everything: - deleted both Nvidia caches - updated Nvidia graphics drivers (was on one version back) - I have a RTX 4090 - empty community folder - deleted ..AppData\Roaming\Microsoft Flight Simulator\cache, ..AppData\Roaming\Microsoft Flight Simulator\SceneryIndexes - deleted FlightSimulator.CFG and disabled Navigraph and Fenix entries in exe.xml - tried with DX11 - switched back to original nvngx_dlss.dll and nvngx_dlssg.dll, restored Flight Simulator entry in Nvidia inspector to default values Nothing helps, the sim always ge…

I don't know if you guys saw this but Aerosoft Berlin Brandenburg (BER) has been released here: https://www.aerosoft.com/en/flight-simulation/continents-sceneries/europe/germany/3252/aerosoft-airport-berlin-brandenburg?c=1707 One thing I like about the airport is that, it uses the new lighting system which makes taxiways looks way better and realistic, not blue light festival like the default airports or majority of other payware lol. Let's hope there will be more payware using this technology. Surprising it didn't take 14 years to finish and it doesn't have broken escalators or fire detectors lol

I’ve attempted several flights from ENBR with prop, PMDG and Fenix aircraft. The sim crashes after takeoff at ~ 1500 agl. I’ve checked the integrity of the HD (surface scan and chkdsk) and updated the graphics drive (RTX). The problem remains-I’ve also created a new Community folder containing only the PMDG/Fenix aircraft-same the thing happens-any suggestions/help would be appreciated-thanks

I have been working solely on the PMDG 737-600 recently as I was treated to a full size simulator flight with a real 737 pilot recently. I have been making progress but the question I have not been able to resolve is the reason why I cannot engage VNAV. The are copious amounts of YouTube videos on the subject but many are quite a few years old so it's difficult to decide if they are still relevant. I have tried to replicate the flights in the videos but this isn't always easy as the tutorials often start in mid-air and it needs good eyesight to see where the flight originated from and destination. The other issue that is repeated is the fact that the first…

I have a 500Mb NVMe C drive that is almost full with MSFS 2020, and a SSD drive D that is mostly empty. Its main use is to store the scenery cache at the moment. My Steam edition of MSFS 2020 is on my C drive. Can/will MSFS 2024 load straight over the top of 2020 and replace it, integrating all the add on planes, OR, does the install need a clean drive to load and just copy the Community folder across? PS I've just found out that a capital C or D plus a colon : . produces a "smiley", hence the lack of " : " above in the drive descriptions. 😄 😧

Can't wait for November. After seeing all the videos of MSFS 2024 all over the internet, I'm pretty excited about the possibilities. However, I have a question. Has anyone heard anything about the Photogrammetry in 2024? Do you think they have eliminated all the globs, unknown scenery objects, and unusual, unidentified scenery "unknowns"? Hopefully the scenery will be represented as realistically as the previews report. I really dislike turning photogrammetry off so that I have a more realistic, although anemic scenery below me. Stan

Seems like the Aerosoft A330 thread was locked, so I hope we can keep a lot of what led to that thread being locked out of this thread. Also, I would like to keep this thread focused on the business aspect of the A330 ( see @jcomm , I do like to make comments and threads about the business side of flight simulation), the decisions Aerosoft made from a business perspective, leading up to the release of the A330 today - maybe reviews of the A330 belong in another new thread. Anyways, as you may know, Mathijs Kok was the former project lead of the A330 at Aerosoft, before he left for PMDG. When he was the project lead for the A330 at Aerosoft, the scope of the project wa…

Does anyone know if FSHUD has a support forum somewhere? I'm liking it so far, but it would be nice to have a place to communicate directly with the developers, other than opening a ticket. Thanks.

So what's the verdict on the iniBuilds A320 after AAU3? Edit: Right after I posted this thread, I found a lengthy iniBuilds A320 thread in the polls/feedback forum: https://forums.flightsimulator.com/t/airbus-a320neo-v2/642546/1055. Oddly enough, I didn't find an in depth iniBuilds A320 thread in the Aircraft subforum at the official MSFS forums. So I'm not sure if this thread is as useful to me anymore, but feel free to chime in if you want to discuss it here at Avsim.

ORBX releasing new Trees. To be honest, not quite sure how I feel about this...FS2024 is releasing in just over 4 months from now, so may be aimed more towards folks that will stay on FS2020 for awhile after launch. That said, I have REX Accuseason, and I'm fairly happy with it. Sure, the trees are a bit....meh, but they get the job done. Depending on price, I may pass on this, unless it truly is something significantly better than what's available now.

New Nvidia driver now available for anyone who is interested. Again, nothing specifically MSFS related but you can download here: https://www.nvidia.com/en-us/geforce/drivers/results/232868/ I've not downloaded yet but will post feedback when I do (though not expecting any excitement).

Hallo, If I want to start a flight with Fenix A320 all works great but short before reaching cruising flight level or sometimes after, the autopilot turns off by itself. I can do whatever I want but it cannot be turned on again. I have deleted the aircraft and reinstall but it doesn‘t work. I have searched in the Internet but I cannot found some stuff based in this problem. Any ideas? I dont know what to do next. Thankyou
