Microsoft Flight Simulator (2020/2024)

Hi, I have trouble saving camera views for the new fenix A319-320-321. I always have to define them from start when loading the sim / aircraft. What is the solution for that? I just had to do it seperatly on the IAE and CFM variants, my bad.

Hi there! I have just purchased the Airbus TCA Sidestick from Thrustmaster and I'm loving it. However, it completely disables my Xbox controller. When I unplug the controller and replug it, it appears in the controls page but the sidestick starts to malfunction. It doesn't allow me to turn my aircraft with the sidestick and the buttons do not work. I am on PC. I use the Xbox controller to capture cinematics for my YouTube and find it a lot easier to control the drone camera with the controller so would love to be able to use them together. Any help would be appreciated 🙂

Everything was working, then had reinstall MSFS. Once installed noticed that the sim was not logging the flights.

I set up a straight in approach to runway 06R at EGSU Duxford at a distance of 12nm (FSiPanel), and I noticed some annoying ground textures to the left of my plane. The attached screenshots clearly show joint lines between two different sets of ground textures, and these textures also exhibit a degree of "popping" when the plane is moving. Now, I appreciate that the ground image consistency is not perfect in MSFS, but what annoys me about this one is that it was not a problem before they updated some of the Bing textures. Cdkeys are now accepting registration for orders at nice discounts for MSFS 2024. I will pick up the Aviator for this short of $161.00 US. I got MSFS 2020 from them when it came out. Also at a good discount at the time.

I just purchsed REX Accuseason, installed it, studied the manual and tried to use it - unfortunately I am to stupid to get behind the secrets to operate the UI (or whatever goes wrong). I own the Fenix A320 since exactly 2 months now and wasn't able to get this add-on running inside the MSFS. Two months of intense troubleshooting and e-Mail back and forth with Fenix support, but this thing won't start. And not in a "cold & dark" way. When I load the aircraft and the airport the Fenix app would start automatically, but when I enter the flight deck only a placeholder graphic on the PFD appears and everything else is dead and I can't interact with it, except for turning the switches. But the EFB is completely dark. A couple updates ago it said at least that it is unable to connect. I'm certain that I've spend over 50hrs of troubleshooting and one comple…

There's a lot of guidance on the rudder sensitivity (I currently have mine set to the Fenix recommended settings). But there's no guidance on the toe brake sensitivity. Currently mine is set at -40 for the rudder (Z axis). Does anyone have any recommended settings for the right and left toe brakes? At the moment, any application of a little right or left brake sends the aircraft (A320) way to the left or right. The default is definitely way too sensitive. Thanks

Hi Guys, As @btacon has already advised, FSS have yet another update to their B727-200F. I don't think this is uncommon on first release as bugs are ironed out although as some have noted it might also appear as having been a bit rushed to market. Whatever the case, I sense from many of the comments on Discord that this aircraft is scratching a big itch with most being pretty happy with the airplane overall and particularly with FSS's continued approach to updates where issues exist. While not up to PMDG standard (or price) by any stretch, it a very good rendition in my opinion and is my No 1. I don't think you would regret buying the FSS B727. (Disclaimer: My onl…

I have spent the last 5 hours trying to 'fly' the updated Fenix A320, and I have not seen any other posts re any problems, so I thought I would post this in the hope someone can help me. I downloaded the new Fenix installer, and decided to uninstall the existing Fenix A320 to have a clean install. After installing, I cleared all my cache and shaders. Then I spawned at Gate 41 EGSS (default scenery). All started well, and I started to prepare the aircraft, using the auto GSX option. All worked fine, fuel, catering and passengers loaded. I then intervened and manually requested pushback via GSX. Everything then froze, and I assumed that the freeze was due to my ma…

I was able to set up custom views, thanks to the great SimHangerFS Youtube tutorial. Wanting to be able to easily cycle through these, I assigned Load Previous Custom Camera and Load Next Custom Camera to two buttons on my yoke. They have no effect. I can change customs views using the Alt+ number keys, which tells me the views were created successfully. Am missing something? All the other button/key assignments I made work fine. I received an email from SimWorks Studios this morning (3 Sept 2024) advising of an update for their PC-12. I downloaded the whole file again from my account on their site, but when I run the installer as Administrator nothing happens. I have since downloaded it again, but the installer still does not open. Today I correctly used SimBrief to plan flight (177 passengers, 1,920kg cargo, 13,585kg of fuel). However GSX only loaded 8,000kg of fuel and didn't load any passengers, despite loading the correct amount of cargo). All figures were correct on flight plan, on the Fenix EFB and were even showing correctly on EGLL's safe gate system). Therefore everything had been entered correctly, so why did GSX get it so wrong? Very frustrating.

I could not find any info, whether Fenix plan to release SL versions of A32X line. Has anyone heard/read anything about it?

Hello, I have a very strange problem with my PMDG 737 fleet. If I load the planes with the standard livery, the VC loads without any problems. If I use a different livery, whether from PMDG Central or Flightsim.to, the VC is only loaded the first time. If I close the sim and restart it and then load the same plane again, the VC is empty and only the windshield wipers are visible, the rest of the VC is missing. Everything else on the plane is there. The problem can only be solved if I delete the livery via PMDG Central and reinstall it. As I haven't flown the 737 for a long time, I can't say when the problem started. I have only recently had access to the full selection of Navigraph charts, so I am not intimately familiar with all of the information displayed. However, I would just like to know the answer to one question. As an example, I am looking at the chart for the final approach to runway 01 at EBBR Brussels. It shows the glideslope starting at 5.6nm and 2000 feet. Prior to that, it shows a flat line, with the altitude at BURUS (10.8nm) also 2000 feet. My question is......am I supposed to be at 2000 feet at BURUS, or is that just the minimum permitted altitude? In other words, can I be on the glideslope at BURUS, but at the appropriately higher altitude? I know that this p…

I am speechless. We see so many miracle recipes for doubling FPS that no one trusts or pay attention to them. I use a large 55-inch 4K screen with an RTX 4090 and I thought I would never be able to increase the smoothness to this extent while doubling the fps. However...
