Just started up MSFS, and got another small mandatory update, that took forever to install. Everything working OK after update.

There are reports of MSFS crashing on start up after todays (01 Oct 2024) Avionics Update. Seems to be if you are using Navigraph data in the community folder. If occurs, remove it until resolved.

I have just purchased the BB Islander and am extremely happy with it. Love flying this bird! However, I am surprised at being unable to locate a Stream Deck profile for the plane. There is one on flightsim.to, but is now unavailable. Apart from that, I can't see one anywhere. I thought I'd ask you guys to see if you know something I don't!

I've been having some issues with msfs this morning and cannot run it. The X Box app reports that X Box Services are having issues. https://support.xbox.com/en-GB/xbox-live-status The X Box status web page is reporting a major outage AGAIN.

Had a quick flight in the Fenix A320 last night to test out my new Winwings FCU panel. Worked great. This morning ... MSFS can't "see" any of my "community" content: no Fenix, no PMDG, no scenery add-ons: nothing. Any ideas?

Big update today for the British Isles as discussed in previous topics. We normally get them at 1600 UTC, 1700 BST, 1800 CET, 1200 ET. I usually (unless I forget) rename my community folder, though I doubt whether it is really worthwhile and give my PC a bit of a cleanup beforehand. Remember to clear your caches too. Will be interesting to see how the MS servers cope with the increased demand this time as Jorg said it would be a pretty hefty download. Looking forward massively to this one. From what I could tell, the 2020 download was going at a peak of around 320 Mb/s. Video starts at the relevant spot. Trying to post is as a clip was a pain.

Hello everyone, I am coming to you as both the founder of A pilot's life V2 and myself have been trying to sort this issue out for a while but cannot quite understand why this issue remains. I am currently unable to use the application and this has been the case now for quite a while. When I start the app, I am on the ground, at the correct airport, at the gate, engines off ans parking brakes on. The app is well connected to MSFS but keeps telling the status as flight not started although it is. The app cannot manage for some reason to track the flight although all the conditions are met. The latitude and longitude on the app are showing as 0.00000 but it shouldn't. …

Hi there. On my FS 2020 I fly A320neo and FBW 32NX as well. I'm Navigraph subscriber with unlimited support. A320neo Navdata looks better, but FBW 32NX FMGC still operate pretty old data. Its EFB is hooked up with my Navigraph account. I think, it should be updated with Navigraph current AIRAC, but in fact it's not. Some airports got runway numbers changed months ago and 32NX sill has the old runway numbers in FMGC Navdata. Needs extra set up ? Anyone knows how to fix it, please.

In one of the video tutorials I watched on the Fenix series, the narrator, who was a real life pilot said that in weather conditions where there was a strong head or crosswind, he would often select flaps 3 (conf3) to land, so he could do so at a slightly higher speed. I have followed his advice of a number of recent landings. To let the MCDU know what my intentions are, I select the Perf button on the MCDU, then scroll across to the Appr page, and I change the LDG config from Full to conf 3. One of the areas of MSFS that disappointed me the most, and didn't really get a lot of press, was the weird sepia blotches that passed for night lighting when looking at distant cities. (I'm not talking about the perfectly adequate night lighting close to the aircraft). Flying into Dubai the whole desert seemed to have this ugly glow. Alpine towns seemed to just be a yellowy-brown mush going up the valleys. It annoys me you can't even turn it off. (And I am aware it is affected by LOD). Hey all, so I fly airliners a lot on msfs like the pmdg 777/737-900 and fenix a320. I noticed as of late when I pan my camera around i'll get these weird jittery/flickering on my cockpit window edges and panel screens. My specs are the following Nivida RTX 3060 Laptop GPu 6GB Intel core I7-12700h processor 16GB ram 2TB SSD For settings I have my game capped at 30FPS in the NVCP, low latency mode on Ultra and V-sync turned on in game. Also updated on all my drivers. Anyone know how to fix this? Basically when I move the camera fast panels and cockpit windows will like double its hard to describe or is that just how the game is?

I have been away from flight sim for quite some time. Just started to use MSFS. Is it me or the AI traffic looks worse than it used to be with P3D, aircraft are constantly « bumping » on the taxiway, wheels and landing gear are not visible from a certain distance. I believe due to some LOD. Also, takeoff and landing physics are worse than ever. I have been trying to use ai flow and ai ground to alter at least the take off and landing distance most aircraft takeoff in less than 1000m but it seems not successful so far. does anyone have some recommendation to improve the ai traffic experience ? cheers

So when scrolling through my aircraft selection, there are a bunch of placeholder icons, there appears to be 6 named icons; KC46 (even though I have the captain sim KC-46 and can click and start a flight with it), KC135 (I had the 3rd party KC-135/other variants from delta simulations), IL78 (I had the third party mod installed but deleted it), K2 (no idea), A310MRTT (don't know either). I've been watching all the eye popping eye candy and new missions but the elephant in the room has not been asked. What's going on with AI Traffic and default ATC? We were promised real world traffic with airline liveries to match what ATC is calling for native in the sim. No need for these third party traffic add-ons anymore. Also ATC was to be improved but there's no mention of that either.😶

Hi all I'm having a really annoying loading problem. The bar gets to about a third of the way after I have set up a flight and am entering it, and then stalls, and can only be fixed with an MSFS restart. After restarting everything works fine always. The thing is, this only happens occasionally. Maybe once every five times. So it's really hard to pinpoint what on earth is causing it. Has anyone else had anything similar? I think it could be due to the Map Enhancement App, which I always use, but I really want to carry on using it. Anyone else had this intermittent fault?
