It's an order of magnitude easier to hand-land this thing than the PMDG 77W... in that one GEES always rates me 'firm landing' with ~1.5g. I'm a sh*t pilot i guess x_x

Hi, yesterday I just got a thrustmaster tca quadrant, but I have some problems with the calibration. 1. As you can see in one of the videos, even if I calibrate the throttle, it just won’t go the max reverse, only to idle reverse. When I calibrate it, I switch the throttle quadrant to max reverse, but in the sim it won’t work whatever I do. 2. When I slowly move the throttles, in the simulator one of them is always higher than the other( this only happens when I’m between the detents) 3. when I try to takeoff, the plane veers to the left, even if I use the rudder, it’s impossible to steer. Hi all, I'd like some advice on take off technique. I posted this in the PMDG forum too, but knowing the wealth of knowledge here, I thought I'd post here too. When I'm rolling down the runway, I add in rudder to counteract any crosswind to keep the aircraft straight down the runway (it appears very rarely that I don't have ANY crosswind during TO). However, when I rotate, this rudder adds in some weird oscillation and as I remove it, the nose yaws massively. Should I be using a combination of runnder and/or aileron here? For replays, like placing cameras at various points like top of the hill and then runway threshold on approach. There is some functionality in the msfs replay tool but its horrible to use. Also, for walking around the cabin in PMDGs and such thank you 🙂

I have just noticed that the cliffs to the left of the runway 30 approach at EGFF Cardiff are being rendered as a horrible looking block with low resolution textures until I get very close. I suspect that this has happened since World Update 17 was installed, but I am not certain. Can anyone else confirm this? In addition, I installed the updates to ORBx GB South and Central yesterday, and now Porthkerry railway viaduct (to the right of the runway 30 approach) has vanished. Anyone know how to change a flignt plan file (commonly " .pln") from a cold and dark launch to running and ready to fly on the runway?...I looked at the " .pln" file and see the "Departure Position" line in the file but am not sure what to change it to...

Can someone who has FSiPanel and the PilotPlus EGFH Swansea installed please check to see if the main runway 04/22 is an option for practice approaches? I am only seeing the short cross runway 10/28 in the list.

Just curious to know what settings you guys have. As i have tried sharpen to 0 in cfg And film grain 0. Msfs terrain is grainy. I tried with sharpen 1 and FIDELITYFX 120 Still grainy. Lowered to 0 still grainy a little . Dx11 Settings mostly ultra and high. Thanks Mike

Hello fellow aviators, I'm currently flying quite a bit in China. Some interesting airports like ZUZH, but most of these domestic airports have no published navdata so Jeppesen/Simbrief/Navigraph are at a loss. Operating A320 on an airport not in navdata must be rare in real life, but of course technically possible. So, does anyone know if there is a way to INIT a flightplan to a destination not in navdata? I tried INIT FROM/TO with coordinates in a few different formats and also with a "Pilot waypoint", but didn't work. My current workaround is creating a flightplan to a nearby airport, after which I create two Pilot Waypoints in the MCDU: One for the end …

Hi, does anyone use this product and can report on it? It's on sale at the moment, and I think it's interesting. I'm guessing default avionics, probably similar to the TBM930 in simulation depth...? Provided one can do an A-to-B flight with it without annoying quirks, for that price, I'm in.

Bought the FSS e/170/e175 package from Aerosoft yesterday but I can't install it because the Aerosoft One app will not open. I've submitted a support ticket but while I wait for a response I thought I'd post here in case someone had the same problem and figured it out. The app appears to be installed as it shows in my list of installed programs and there is a shortcut on my desktop (on Windows 11 Pro, BTW). When I try to launch it, it only gets as far as the splashscreen with the blue progress bar fully right and the activity circle endlessly going round and round. Hiya, Just completed my first transatlantic flight on VATSIM. Was awesome. However, there is this recurring issue - the entire flight goes super smooth, until massive stutters appear on final approach where fluid performance is most needed 😵‍💫. Happens randomly. This time it was KORD with PMDG77W and Asobo scenery, previously in LFMN with add-on scenery in a FBW A32N. The other day landed with the same A32N in the same LFMN smoothly. Hi all, I am looking for something similar to Fspassengers which I enjoyed with FS9, but for MSFS. I currently use AirHauler2, which is a great program, but it does not cater for dealing with passenger numbers or inflight service etc.. Fspassengers had a simple financial model but it was also geared around your performance in the air. I have looked at PACX but the updates appear limited and the reviews are a little mixed. There is also 'A Pilots Life -v2' but this appears to be focussed around working for an airline and doing jobs, so the passengers bit is missing. Hi, I have a problem with the traffic inside the airport. I want to use GSX but a lot of vehicles from it are crashing with others. I use AI traffic and I want also cars trucks for those aircrafts but not so much. I reduced options inside MSFS to 0, AIG traffic injector with 0 cars/vehicles, but I still have static cars/vehicles in the airport. Maybe the developer wanted those static vehicles? How is possible to remove them so that I have some free space to use GSX without colisions? Otherwise I only can use certain gates with a lot of space. Even while taxiing I have vehicles travelling everywhere. I would like to avoid this while puhsing back ans taxii…

I have a pretty good rig. My specs are below. I have had smoothness with the Fenix for as long as I can remember. Ever since I bought the 319 and the 321, I have been getting really bad stutters. I have never had it like this before. Is this something that is a known issue, or could this be isolated to me? THe only other difference that I have made since getting the 319/321 is buying Real Traffic subscription and using it with PSXT. I used that with the 320 in the past and was fine though so I don't know what would cause this out of nowhere. I've been able to fly using high/ultra settings and my LOD is 200. Flying the Black Square King Air 350. I have a dual monitor setup, but the second monitor is just for web browser, and stuff like LIttle NavMap when I'm flying, etc. The problem I've run into is the left window latch in the KA350 is (not so) perfectly positioned that when I mouse over to the second monitor, any time I click on the toolbar to pop open a program/window it also pop's open the KA's window!! Which as you can imagine when flying is no good! Is there someway through a config file on the plane that I can disable the ability to open the window? It's driving me mad when flying this plane to not be able to use the toolbar to open programs. I guess I can …

I know military aircraft are not to everyone's taste in MSFS, but this was mainly used as a trainer anyway. I absolutely love this aircraft, and have been waiting for it. I became dissatisfied with Flight Beam's version for a couple of reasons and before trying another 3rd party option thought it might be worth seeing if Asobo ever got around to fixing the heinous slopes in different areas, and indeed they did and it's quite decent, the entire offering, for free I guess if you have Premium not sure about the others. FB never did anything good with terrain mesh there it's essentially flat and that's too bad as it takes away way too much character for the RW setting. So I've uninstalled FB's now and will stick with Asobo unless X-codr's performance is really good so would like to hear how that is compared to FB's KDEN.
