Currently before every flight I'm doing this... - disable NVIDIA shader cache - restart PC - run disk clean up and remove DirectX Shader Cache files - delete cache files in AppData/Local/D3DSCache, AppData/Local/NVIDIA, AppData/LocalLow/NVIDIA/PerDriverVersion/DXCache, AppData/Roaming/NVIDIA/ComputeCache - set NVIDIA cache back to 10GB - restart PC - Start MSFS - Delete MSFS rolling cache I know it seems a lot but it seems to stop pretty much all stutters etc. Am I going mad? Am I just using this as a 'placebo' in a way. Are there any steps I could stop doing? Do I need to restart my PC after setting the NVIDIA shader cache back to 10GB? …

I have a question regarding using the Fenix radio stack. In the link below is a snapshot of the communication radios and their respective frequencies. The two arrows are pointing to the “Receive” and “Transmit” switches that are turned-on for the left VHF1 radio. All Receive & Transmit switches on the right VHF2 radio are off. With this setup my expectation is to be able to transmit to and receive from communications over frequency 122.800 in VHF1, and this works fine. The problem is that I also receive (can hear) transmissions over frequency 135.925 in VHF2 even though all the receive and transmit switches on that side are off. How do I silence the VHF2 sid…

I use MSFS most days, and things have been pretty stable for a long time. Thursday night was fine. Then all of a sudden, on Friday night, massive stutters and freezes. It doesn't seem to be a FPS issue, since AutoFPS shows that my frame rates are normal (usually in the 40s on my old system). The freezes can be a half-second long, sometimes longer. And they are happening all the time, constantly, whether on an airport or at FL430. And it happens before launching a flight, too--the world map on the launch screen also stutters and freezes when I move it or zoom. Anyone else seeing this? Or have seen it in the past? I think it might be something on Microsoft's side…

Hi all, I read that the new update will improve performance on zen 5 ,4 and 3 cpus from AMD. I myself have a 7600x so I hope it gives a little boost. Unfortunate i don't see any benchmarks for msfs. Hi All, Does anyone know how to delete default liveries from the sim? I've tried manually deleting some of the default liveries, as I never fly with them, however, the next time I load up the sim, I'm presented with an installation screen and the sim automatically re-loads these files. Does anyone know of a way round this? Apologies if this has previously been asked and answered...i searched, but couldn't find anything. Thanks in advance. Cheers, Calum

Hello, With the A320 V2B2-2.2.0.334, when I start at the end of the runway in C&D by default then I launch PANEL STATE > READY, There is a problem with the value of the returned ZFW. I manually fill in the payload + fuel table and I get a ZFW. When I validate "APPLY & LOAD" the ZFW displayed in the EFB is different. I have just completed a couple of hours of network data testing, using MSFS v.1.37.19.0, Little Nav Map v.3.0.9, and Kinetic Assistant v.0.17.3.0. I installed MSFS in Sept. 2020, and have logged about 657 hours flight time. Not a lot compared to some of you, but enough that I have established what game settings I like. My system has an AMD Ryzen 5-3600 6 core CPU, the GPU is an AMD Radeon RX-6800-XT, and I have 64 gB of DRAM installed. Hi all, as Berne in Switzerland is heavily affected (or not manually reworked at all) by those annoying photogrammetry "trees", I wonder if there is an easy solution to remove them? I know that some addons are available to remove those ugly blobs elsewhere, but it might be possible to do on your own, no? Or is it only for experienced devs? Thanks for any hint.

Is a file that runs before pressing the "Ready to Fly" button accessible in MSFS?

Using MSFS Scenario to set up a VFR flight with the subject aircraft, (not using Simbrief), I can't get more than 49% fuel load when I check it whilst on the runway, prior to departure. Even with a very low passenger/luggage load. Am I missing doing something to get the fuel load above 49%? T45

Prior to installing the latest update for MSFS the PMDG 777 was working just fine. After the update, once the PMDG was up and running all system would shut down. I tried find the issue with no luck. as a result, I removed the software and reinstalled again with same issues showing up again. Unable to start APU, unable to put any power on the aircraft

Regarding the Bonanza with G1000 and autopilot. Is it possible to 'preprogram' climb before taking off by setting VS on and clicking on Nose UP for required climb rate (eg +600) then take off and after flaps and gear UP engage the autopilot (AP) and the aircraft start to climb automatically ie hands off yoke? I tried and found that when I engaged AP the VS was OFF (instead on ON) and setting it back on I found that the vertical speed had been reset to around negative 600 ie -600.

Hello. Does fenix work with frame generator? When I run fenix without aplication everything is ok but as we know Fenix is at Could and Dark. When i run the application for proper operation of fenix, msfs freezes. With PMDG and FBW I don't have any problems I read somewhere on the forum that fenix works with FG.

It looks like those running the Google Mod, there is an option to buy the Pro version for $30 a year and that gets better resolutions apparently. For those that have done it, do you like it and how long did it take to get the license ? I decided to give it a try but never got the license. Thanks!

I used PSXT with Real Traffic for quite some time until my RT subscription expired. It has been a few months and i resubscribed to RT and had to download the latest PSXT. I did that and installed it but it won't launch. Did something change or did I install it incorrectly? I ran the installer like usual so I am not sure what the issue could be.
